If you find yourself in the vicinity of Girona, this venue is an essential stop. The atmosphere radiates positivity, making it a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Cyclists will particularly appreciate the hassle-free accessibility. The staff goes above and beyond, offering unparalleled customer service that leaves you feeling more like a friend than a patron. As for the coffee, it's in a league of its own, and it pairs beautifully with their remarkable culinary creations, each dish crafted from premium ingredients to achieve gastronomic excellence.

Best Coffee in Girona no doubts about it. Their cake are also amazing, I usually don't like vegan cake but this place is amazing at them. Next time I will definitely be going for brakfast or brunch to try even more.

Idle Hands is a restaurant/cafe offering a smaller menu of delicious food, plus coffee, beer and wine. I had the slow cooked pork cheek (pictured) and it was absolutely delicious! The plating looks small but I can assure you it was plenty for lunch and also very balanced flavours. There's plenty of seating both indoor for a more formal setting, by the counter (for a casual coffee) or outdoor. The coffee is delicious and there's also a selection of bakery items (croissants, pastries etc) available. The owners are from Belgium and the UK and have renovated the space nicely to have a cosy, but upmarket feel. Highly recommend and so glad to have these guys here in Girona!

Visited Girona as a day trip and because of the reviews I decided to come. This place did not disappoint. Our host was extremely sweet and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the pancakes and the Bahn mi sandwich. If I ever return I will be visiting this place again.

Probably the best spot in Girona for a filter coffee. Amazing food and vibe. We came with a kid and were suggested with a bunch of toys, also chief cooked a small dish out of menu exactly for a baby. Loved the fact it was kinda hidden from the main tourist route which made it a bit more special.

Cool and chilled location. Small but delicious menu accompanied by craft beers and organic wines. We had the Banh Mi baguette and the Shakshuka. Beautiful presentation, fresh ingredients and delicious flavours. Great people too!

Small menu but super delicious, good food. Coffee was excellent also and they have non dairy milks available. Indoor and outdoor seating, located in cute cobblestone alleyway in the city.

Good speciality coffee place, perhaps the best one I visited in Spain and Catalonia (though I have not visited many). If you like speciality coffee and you’re in Girona then I advise you to visit. The barista is really friendly and helpful. The food is really good save for relatively high prices. Nevertheless it is still above average in how the recipes try to be original in some way. Personally I can recommend the muhammara toast with 2 poached eggs as perfect breakfast.

Friendly staff and very delicious food. The place is a bit tucked away but that adds to the the vibe and atmosphere. It was quiet when I visited which I liked. Will have to visit again.

We had the Ethiopian and Rwandan speciality coffees together with granola and it was sublime. Came back the next day to have their shakshuka and eggs Benedict. Pity we are leaving Girona today as would have loved to come back a third time.

Fantastic! The couple who own it are super friendly, and the service they offer is brilliant. The food is great and the selection of drinks also. The place is very stylishly decorated, and it's a lovely spot for a coffee, lunch, or evening drink. Will be back to check out the live music nights too.

I stopped at Idle Hands recently while on a day trip to Girona and was totally blown away! My partner and I are vegan, and they had a few delicious options. The menu is not big, but it's easy to tell that they put maximum effort into every single item to make sure it's perfect. The atmosphere of the place is also great--the decoration is gorgeous. If you're in Girona, this is the place!

The best spot in Girona for good coffee (flat whites and killer (cold)brews!), brunch and some Doskiwis. Oh, and, after some meticulous research: best pancakes of Girona!! Also, best staff! Hope to see you soon!

Best specialty coffee in town in cozy surroundings. The cafe is beautifully designed by its owners and frequent art exhibitions make it a unique spot in Girona to enjoy your coffee, food as well as natural wines. It caters for vegans and there are gluten free options too. Tacked in a charming little square, away from noise but filled with cool music and friendly vibes. Do not miss!

Excellent food with lots of vegetarian options. The service is wonderful - the staff is very kind and professional. It is also incredibly kid friendly! The coloring supplies and toys make dining with a toddler so much easier. Such a welcoming atmosphere, thank you!

😠 This was our second time here and the last time for sure. We tried the main dishes and they were terrible. It's the first time when you order a burger and it's coming without bread. The potatoes were very oily and cold...the burger raw...and the service was the worst, especially the girl /host from...
