Very good food - quality, flavours, portion size. We arrived without a reservation at peak lunch time but just managed to get the last table. The waitress recommended the right dishes for us (steering us away from pig trotter starters towards ham croquettes which was the right call). Fast and attentive service. We had the steak and duck which was both delicious!

The owner of this place (the one with the crazy glasses and karen haircut) will force you to get a starter. She lied to us saying "paella takes 1h30 so better get a starter" while the paella came as soon as we were done with our food. In general the food was good, but from the moment we arrived the vibe was off and we didn't feel welcome.

Not so many places are open in the city center this time of the year. We got cold while walking in the old town, so we decided to eat some paella. It looked like a good place for paella based on the previous reviews on Google maps, and it was indeed open. Paella came out to be pretty average and over salted. The rice was a bit too uncooked. Also ordered calamari, which were okay, but nothing special. A couple of things to watch about the service: 1) I was ordering 3 servings of paella and some appetizers for our company of 4. This is a typical amount food I would order with any company of friends. The waitress insisted that we should order 4 for 4. At the end, we ended up having leftovers. It gives a little aftertaste like someone pushed me to buy something I didn’t need. 2) watch your bill. They charge some extra for bread that is served by default. They may also include something you don’t get for your table (e.g. water) I don’t think we’ll come back.

Excellent local place to eat paella! It’s hard to find good places to eat paella, but in this place is really good! Highly recommended! As for the service is not the best, the waitress is in a rush and barely cares about the customers. The place is small, busy but worth it!

Paella was poor- dry and not enough seafood for 15 euro each (30 euro for 2). Other dishes were good, including starters, but below average for the price and area.

Words can not express how delicious this food was. My second favorite restaurant in the world. Squid delectable, mackerel salad beyond fabulous. The meat dish my friend got was perfection. Ever in girona you must stop in.

One of the best restaurants we tried in Spain! We went later in their lunch hours and tried their prix fixe consisted of appetizer, main and dessert. It also comes with water, bread and wine. We wanted to try local Gironian food and my friend and I are blown away. The pear(?) soup with bacon was nice and refreshing, surprisingly good combination. I got the Gironian beef as main and it was very delicious and tender. My friend got the steak cooked with red wine, and that was excellent! Their dessert choices (I got truffles) was a good way to end the meal. The presentation of each meal was very pretty. The service was good, not much English and I cannot speak much Catalan but we communicated well with pointing and hand gestures. I would definitely go back the next time we visit Girona.

I loved the set lunch. Great food for the price. Better to make reservations ahead. Simple stylish decor with prompt and friendly service.

Very dishonest restaurant and overpriced food . We order 1 paella and they bring a pot of paella and told us they will put them on two plates. When we get the bill, they charged us 15 euros per person for the paella when we actually only order one paella and the menu only display the paella as one dish. it’s pretty funny how these restaurant want to sell overpriced food . Please do not eat here.

Pretty good on the whole. Full of locals which is a good sign. Waiting staff reasonably friendly and multilingual. Atmosphere is lively but it's quite bright. Food was decent on the whole but steer away from things like Paella, this isn't their specialty.

Great spot! Food was amazing and service was fast and attentive. Some of the negative reviews seem to be from people who don’t understand the concept of a day menu - you are supposed to get a starter, a main dish and a dessert.

One of the best meals we had in Spain! We came for dinner on a Thursday . We got a spectacular tuna tartar and seafood paella. Everything were so tasty! We really enjoyed all the items. Highly recommended.

This place is always a hit. Fun to go with a group of friends and split a few yummy starters - the tuna tartar is quite special. My second dish was a really well-cooked filet - which I mean cooked just the way I asked for it. Very professional and friendly service as well.

We happened on this restaurant for the lunch menu with no booking but got a table for half an hour later. We sat outside and it began to rain and storm very badly. The owner and staff were very kind and brought us inside, seated us and allowed us to have our meal. The food was very good and very good value. I would return without any hesitation!

Only one thing to say: perfect! The manager speaks French. The menu is very cheap and the quality is there, congratulations to the cook!

One of the best easy dining / lunch moments of my life. What a down-to-earth perfectionism. The service is just extremely professional. Wouldn‘t expect this within this category.

If you want a classy, sophisticated restaurant in Girona this is certainly a great place for that. Food was incredible - you could really taste the locally sourced ingredients in the simple-seeming dishes; and the service from Marga was great. The veal canneloni in mushroom saucs was simply sublime, absolutely the best thing we had but the beef and tenderloin was amazing too.

😠 This was our second time here and the last time for sure. We tried the main dishes and they were terrible. It's the first time when you order a burger and it's coming without bread. The potatoes were very oily and cold...the burger raw...and the service was the worst, especially the girl /host from...
