I had an All Day Brunch which consists of two sausage, two bacon, two eggs, chips and beans and a pint of lager all for less than a tenner. Very tasty! Quick and polite service, I will try it again. Recommended.

Amazing value. I had mixed grill special, 5.99 for a huge amount of food, ok it's not top notch grub but it was exceptionally good for the price. Got to hand it to Wetherspoons. They are fabulous value

I Was Served A Recycled Pint Of Cider , 15 Minutes After It Was Returned To The Bar , Being A Regular Customer I Find This Disgusting . A Fresh Pint Is Served In A Strongbow Glass . I Wo n't Be Returning . (Weatherspoons Have Apologised For Serving Me Old Slop , I Guess We Leave It There) , Watch Where Your Pint Comes From (Health & Safety) .

We had a waiter come and hand us drinks we hadn’t bought without giving us the chance to confirm we didn’t buy them, he walked away so didn’t see if we had touched the drinks and when we told him he took the drinks to another table, we watched them get sipped, then he proceeded to take them to a third table. Lack of respect for hygiene and safety in that circumstance was alarming.

Just popped in for a bit of food and a drink. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and courteous. The food was good value for money. I would like to recommend this establishment when visiting Glasgow city centre.👍

Busy spoons in the centre of Glasgow. This one is different as it has music in it. Nice feel with a very diverse crowd. Quick to get served at bar as ample provision of staff available.

My first time in Glasgow, and I was impressed by how clean this Spoons pub was. I went in for a pint of Guinness (£3.49). The staff were friendly, and the they served us the best and the most delicious food I'd had at a Wetherspoons (been to many in London).

Came in on Saturday and would definitely come back if the lady with the green Tshirt who brought the drinks to the tables all night was on! good to see a friendly person in the bar; she was a credit to the place. hope she's on next time I'm in.

Good bar service with a proactive manager.low ceiling makes for a lot of noise on a busy Saturday. Fish fresh . Good portions. Great selection of beers at realistic prices.

Very welcoming and cozy - not like the Sir John Stirling Maxwell in Shawlands, which was like an icebox inside. Complained 3 times and was told they couldn't regulate it!?

Typical spoonies. Even when busy because the bar is so big wait isn't too long but getting a seat isn't always an option.

Weatherspoons, plays music, lively. Drinks are cheap, food as expected. Toilets clean. Nice place to go in the centre of town for pre drinks or cheap food, spacious and can usuallyget a seat no bother. Not fancy but it is what it is :)

Alway come to this pub when I’m in town, mainly because of the great choice of draught guest ales at good prices. Decided to try their steak and baked potato as I was a bit hungry. Hmm, first impression “low score” for presentation, really unappealing. But actually the potato was nicely cooked and the steak was very tasty. Overall “high score” for taste and value. But a few sprigs of lettuce or a spoonful of coleslaw would have made the appearance better! Would still order it again right enough 🤣

A large Wetherspoons, offering the usual large selection of food and drink. Uncommon with most pubs in this chain, there is music played (at volume) throughout. Tables are clean, service is friendly, beer is reasonably priced... what more can you ask for?

I visited several Wetherspoons trying to find one that had the Scottish breakfast menu but wasn't overcrowded, and the Society Room was just what I needed. The food was good. They were short on some ingredients, but happy to offer something else instead, and the food and drink were both great.

Great pint in a handy location near my office. Staff are nice, pub is clean and crowd is fairly mixed so no trouble. Ordering on the Wetherspoons App is always great as you dont need to leave your seat, handy if you are alone.

Very nice and clean, especially the toilets, which at other wetherspoons have been disgusting. Great layout, friendly staff and very welcoming atmosphere. First time there and will definitely be back

Usually visit here before gigs/shows as it's so convenient and cheap for quality drinks. We both chose The Big Cheese burgers on the festive menu. My husband had the veggie version and I had the chicken. Both were hot, tasty and big portions. Even on a Monday evening, it was really busy here but all staff that we came into contact with were really friendly.

My friends and I visited on Saturday and spent a good few hours here having some wine then food which we enjoyed and then more drinks. The place was mobbed from when we arrived at 1pm till we left after 8pm. The service was very quick( we used the app) and the staff were very nice!!

Very nice wetherspoons and fast table service via the app. As usual, perfect place for a cheap lunch and a few drinks. Although first time I noticed the prices increase depending on where you are eating/drinking. Will definitely go back though.

Ordered a steak very well done. Came pink along with pink half of it was fat. Told the server and he replied and what do you want me to do? I said well I'm not eating that. Reply was I will tell someone. No one ever came. Terrible service and terrible food unless it was cooked the way I asked on app

Cheep and cheerful. Friendly staff. I visit during breaks from my work. Get the full breakfast. Good price, big plate. Also the coffee is refillable. Get what you pay for. At certain times it's too busy but early visits the place is very quiet. I'd say before 1030 is the best time.

Just a nice place to get a meal at a good price. The venue is clean and staff are friendly and happy to help. Been a while since I was able to have a pint of Abbott for £2.75. During my stay in Glasgow, I visited a number of times and although the menu did not change, there is plenty of choice that will suit all desires and dietary requirements. Will go again.

First impressions as we walked in through the door at 11:30am was how clean and bright it was. Tables were not sticky, carpet clean, no fingermarks on windows etc. Bar / serving staff were welcoming and very efficient. Food order again very good. Shame it's not closer to home. ?

  • 5/5 Graham B. 4 years ago on Google
Enjoyable, large barroom with NO background music or loud sports TV. Has a quiet informal atmosphere between the peek times, which makes it worthwhile to relax with a book or write a journal. Acceptable food, prices and staff will keep me coming back.

It's one of the nicer Wetherspoons. It's large, plenty of seating, handy for both railway stations. You can effortless pass a couple of hours people watching.

Really busy with a great vibe. All the customers were super friendly. Left our shopping and people on the table next to us made sure it was put behind the bar. Such lovely people in Glasgow.

This pub is the best, staff are very helpful, a slight issue with ordering our round of drinks with the App, it was a work day out therefor the round was large. On 2 occassions we waited for some time on it arriving at our table. One of my friends went up to order a round and ssy that we used the app but no drinks arrived, the bar person said that we never ordered using the app, once we paid at the bar for our drinks it the appeard on screen . We ended up with 2 rounds of drinks . Maybe it was slow in loading up, but this was 15 minutes later . This happened on 2 occassions. However it is a great place to go to.

Had breakfast with my wife this morning and its the worst customer service I have experienced at a wetherspoons ever The staff member throw the plate on the table, no words were spoken, we entered the Society rooms around 0945 and were there for an hour, no tables were cleared in that time, the staff didn't same interested???
