The general practitioners have been fine, but the receptionist who answered my call yesterday was a jerk. I called to schedule a cervical screening as I received a notice in the post. No problem at all. But the receptionist laughed when she said that appointments weren't available until mid-May. Like...why is this funny? And then she says they only do them between 2-3pm and only on certain days of the week. mount Florida medical practice, are you okay? Why is this so limited? Anyways, that receptionist sucked.

The doctors are great when you get to see them but the online booking is currently suspended and the practice doesn't answer the phone so its difficult to get an appointment. I phoned today and was 10th in a queue and after 45 minutes I was 4th and was then cutoff unexpectedly. Not a great experience I am afraid. From previous experience you need to phone early to get through. I am not sure why they have stopped the online system which seemed a step forward.

I have been registered with this surgery for about 6 months, and everytime I phone in for an appointment I must get the same receptionist, who is not just rude but extremely dismissive. I get told to book my appointments online as I have a registered email, even though when I go to it is completely full and this is before the surgery has opened. The GP is pleasant and helpful, but the dealings with the reception, especially whoever I get each time, is so off putting, I can see why there is so many negative comments. Its a shame and I dont understand why she hasnt been pulled up on it by management

Rude reception. Confusing and unhelpful booking system. Waiting forever to get through various automated messages. When finally you do, reception staff seem put out that you are getting in touch. When I was newly arrived to Glasgow and less familiar with the process for seeing a doctor, I was given no helpful advice and left with the impression that the receptionist couldn't wait to have me off the phone. Any time I have phoned since, I am left with the same impression. Not acceptable, does a disservice to the otherwise excellent staff working there.

This is rating purely for the receptionists. Honestly so rude. I understand we are in a pandemic, but we all are being very responsible. The back door is already open, and I walked in to the surgery with my mother. The lady actually had the audacity to say did she just walk in - rude i would say - I felt like I had committed a crime with the way she spoke. Did she expect for me to close the door and then ring the buzzer again. There is a way of speaking to patients who are vulnerable my mother. It was freezing cold and the surgery was empty I didn’t even sit on the chair as I was scared to even move. The receptionist really need to go through some learning how to behave

1 star purely because the receptionist is always so rude. In person and on the phone. I wanted to make an appointment via phone call yesterday and got cut off mid sentence and told to call at 8am today. Been trying for 35 mins they haven’t even turned the phone on yet or something? Keeps saying the practice is closed. So giving me false information? The website for the medical centre is also terrible. On the phone usually you’ll be told to make your appointment on there but turns out it’s actually impossible.

I have been a patient at this practice for a long time now and it has really went down hill. Drs are all great, but the website to try and get an appointment is a joke. If you are lucky enough to get through on the phone the receptionist then wants to know what is wrong with you and decides whether or not you should get a telephone apply. My health condition is nothing to do with the receptionist and is confidential. This practice really needs to address the problems

Cannot contact this practice by phone or website. Your phone line says to use the website ‘there is never a queue online’ but your website says clinics are full today… all I want to do is ask reception a question about my file. Clearly you need to hire more receptionists.

The actual GPs are lovely and helpful but I’m continually shocked by the lack of professionalism, politeness and decency of the reception staff. After reading other reviews there is clearly a problem going on. Disappointed that leadership is unable to address this.

I've had mostly -incredibly- good doctors here and I've attended for around 10 years now. I really feel now I have to say something now that other people are talking- as someone neurodivergent, it actually gives me intense anxiety visiting the practise in person to the point I find myself putting it off even in need. The receptionist staff are a problem. Receptionists often do HAVE to play 'bad guy' with people being unreasonable and it can be exhausting, so they often come across as a little cold or unfriendly- This is not that. There's about one decent one and another particularly bad that others have mentioned- Even when it was not a digital practise, you would be spoken to with distain for calling and said staff member lectured me for 'being late' when I was having a panic attack outside the door. I was not seen by my (chronically late but lovely) doctor for another 25 minutes. So yeah, this isn't 'pandemic stress', this isn't just 'playing keeper', this is a long standing issue with this practice in particular and seems to be seared into the work culture.

Aside from one senior partner GP who has thankfully retired, all of the doctors and nurses at this practice have been fantastic and really supportive. Unfortunately, a couple of helpful individuals aside, the same cannot be said of the reception team. One woman in particular is horribly rude and seems to take joy in being deeply unpleasant. Despite many attempts I can't get the online set up to work for me and so booking an appointment is not easy. However, if you fill in the form in the morning at the right time for urgent matters, they do get back to you. But not everyone is available at 8am for the short window that the form is open, so they need to improve ways in which appointments can be made. Ultimately, the positives outweigh the negatives as the health professionals are excellent.

There is a bit of a sampling bias, most of the people reviewing have a bee in their bonnet about something and want to rant. It’s actually a decent practice. Sadly GPs everywhere are under great pressure.

This receptionist needs to be fired. Absolutely disgusting customer service… nhs need this looked into as it’s not only me whose had this issue as you can see from other reviews! Doctors are great but the receptionist makes life really difficult! Oh her name is Suzanne, must wake up on the wrong side of the bed each morning!

I recently joined the practice and I have nothing but positive feedback for the medical centre. The doctors are amazing. Very thorough. I haven't felt rushed when having my appointments. Receptionists maybe stressed however I don't understand the negative feedback as given the online facility I have found this to be really efficient. I wouldn't let any negative feedback prevent anyone from joining this practice the doctors and health care work are amazing.

Doctor's surgery does as it says. Offers friendly service, no complaints from my recent visit. In controversy to others I found the reception staff friendly and helpful. We must remember that staff are under enormous pressure due to the fallout from covid, as are most of the NHS. They have a very convenient window that allows you to pick up/ speak to them! Very handy!

I was with this practice for a few years and went through some major health issues that I sadly didn’t get enough help for. The doctors were typically helpful but reception staff we’re off putting. It seems to be a common thing with GP surgeries that it is the reception staff that create a barrier. Dr Campbell and dr. Stout really went out of their way to help me manage some chronic symptoms which I’m very grateful for.

Dismissive reception staff and an online system that only works for a few hours in the day. Basically impossible to speak to a real person (a receptionist, not a doctor or nurse) without waiting on hold for 30-40 minutes. I would recommend going to another medical practice - this one is not fit for purpose.

Rude reception that make you feel guilty and a nuisance for calling them. They could do with learning how to care about patients and vulnerable people. However in my experience great doctors - agreeing with many other reviews that the rude Phonecall customer service and long lists of automations is really not worth using this surgery. I’m changing tomorrow.

I was told I needed to ring back at 8.45 in order to join a telephone queue for a medical gp appointment. The line said I was in a queue of 10 and then cut me off. I've since rang over three days each morning - there is no phone system queue anymore - the line makes an engaged tone and goes dead after three rings. Has the practice chose to remove the call in queue system?! Don't try to apply online either for a gp appointment. This form has also been removed due to covid and short of staff. There is no actual valid route to get a gp appointment with this practice so left wondering what patients are being put at risk and what is the point of the reception if it has been switched off. Shocked and will be trying to find another practice asap as feel I am without a gp to access.

The doctors are fine once you get to see them but unless it’s an emergency you pretty much can’t. Ever since they make it an online system, getting appointments is impossible. I get on the website at 8:15am and it’s already not letting me use the form saying they’re full for the day and it’s not just happened once, it’s happens every time.

Pretty much just as much the same as astonishingly many other previous reviews.. the front desk receptionist staff waver between warm, friendly and with acceptably decent customer service skills, to the odd, emotionless grumpy one who’s unable to apologise if their life depended on it.. It is extremely disappointing and frustrating to see that such a poor 2.7 review rating, mostly concerning the receptionists’ poor customer service, attitude and behaviour, continues not to be dealt with appropriately, they must know and feel safe in their knowledge there’s no repercussions, resulting in ever so many patients having to consider leaving the practice altogether, including myself. For example, I personally had a smear, cervical screening test scheduled in for this morning at 10:15, which had been booked in over 1 month ago!, ..I unknowingly showed up at around 10am only to be told that the systems were down and therefore nobody could be seen today; Now, what disappointed and frustrated me the most has been the front desk staff underwhelming unsympathetic attitude, but in the end I accepted my “fate” without argument. To make matters from bad to worse, upon re-scheduling over the phone I was then told and made aware that cervical screening tests are allegedly only made on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays AFTERNOON; To my shock and mention concerning my original MORNING appointment (again, at 10:15AM), the receptionist couldn’t offer me a reasonable explanation, never mind some kind of emphatic apology at all. I now am left wondering what on earth would have happened to me this morning were the practice’s systems have been up and running as should have. I’d of course planned my whole day today around this said appointment, what an utter waste of my time.

I've needed them twice recently and everyone I've spoken to has been lovely. If you go through their site with any issues, it's resolved the same day. Couldn't ask for a better service, especially given how long the waits are in the rest of the UK just now, or even just the rest of Glasgow. We're very lucky to have them.

Had a great experience today! Called and spoke to a very helpful and friendly receptionist and got a phone call later from one of the doctors (also incredibly helpful) who prescribed me antibiotics. The whole process was great, I felt valued as a patient and received quick treatment.

Had amazing experience with all the GPs I've seen here, but the processes of booking an appointment, leaving updates for doctors, etc. are completely ineffective and I would imagine extremely difficult for anyone vulnerable.

Generally no real complaints. Front desk staff waver between really friendly with the odd emotionless grumpy one thrown in for GP reception authenticity! 😆 My issue is that 2 yrs ago I could get a f2f appointment within 3 days. Now it's 10 days or more. What has changed?
