Such an amazing birthday surprise! Had the absolute delight of experiencing the 3 hour tour with my partner, led by the enthusiastic and knowledgeable Emily. An experience more than just eating some chocolate, learning about the city, its history and culture, while also learning about AND getting to try a wide range of delicious chocolate along the way. The staff at each and every store visited were extremely friendly and welcoming, excited to share some of their favourites from their chocolate offerings, all without any pushy or aggressive upselling tactics (the products spoke for themselves, we absolutely picked up some extra goodies throughout!) As the highlight of my "special day", it was an absolute pleasure to share the journey with Emily and all the amazing chocolate (and more!) retailers!

Whether you love chocolate or not, this is a great way to see Melbourne, learn interesting facts and find new places to visit. Ivan, our tour guide, was fun and friendly; he gave us a tour to remember! All the treats/goodies were, of course, delicious. We appreciated the great variety. Highly recommend!

The chocolate tastings were delicious and all different from each other. We ended up buying lots of goodies from all the shops from the tour. Amanda, the guide, was wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable. Great afternoon with the family! Highly recommend

I work near the block arcade we are and regularly walk through it and still learnt a few historical facts and shops I'd never been inside. Meg, our guide, was really enthusiastic about chocolate and keen to learn what she knew. She helped us with making interesting truffle choices and encouraging us in some cheese and chocolate pairings. Even my 11 year old loved that. Highly recommend taking visitors to Melbourne on this and you will enjoy it lots yourself.

Yesterday I enjoyed an absolutely fabulous, and very tasty tour around Melbourne! Our guide Sandra was so very friendly and extremely knowledgeable on everything chocolate, as well as where to dine in Melbourne. I learnt so much about my own city and discovered retailers and restaurants I never knew existed! Highly recommend Chocoholic Tours and the amazing Sandra!

Had a lovely time on the tour thanks to Manda, our super friendly and fun guide! She was personable, upbeat, and patient with our relatively large group on a drizzly day. Plus, you know, we got to enjoy a bunch of delicious chocolate in some cute and unexpected spots. :) Did all my souvenir shopping for my trip at the shops we visited along the tour and found a bunch of perfect gifts for my parents and friends!

This was a great tour! Sandra, our guide, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, despite having hosted this tour many times before and shared tidbits about Melbourne that I didn’t know, despite being Melbourne born and bred. The businesses we visited were all welcoming and their products were delicious. Definitely recommend this to any chocolate lover.

This experience far outweighed all of my expectations. Tonya was an incredible guide who got to know each tour participant and shared her knowledge of Melbourne throughout the tour of specific interest to our group members. Her bubbly and friendly personality topped it off, and the chocolate samples were of outstanding quality, varied and plentiful. I loved seeing more of the opulent lanes, alleys, landmarks, shopping and dining spots which I never knew existed in our beautiful city. A suitable experience to enjoy solo and meet new people, as a couple, parents or carers with older children or in a group. I'm so grateful for the opportunity I had to have this experience, it truly couldn't have been better. Would I recommend Melbourne's Chocoholic Tours? Absolutely!

My wife booked us in for the Melbourne Lanes and Arcades Chocolate & Dessert Walking Tour for my birthday. It was great tour that took us to some of the smaller chocolate places which we didn’t know existed. Manda was a great guide and very knowledgeable about history of the laneways and arcades! Really enjoyed this tour with our guide Julia! Great knowledge of the chocolate and flavours and an even more impressive knowledge of the history of the city! We saw some amazing spots I hadn't come across since moving here. A great way to see more of Melbourne and a good idea if you have someone visiting the city :)

Tonya was a fantastic tour guide who was really knowledgeable about both Melbourne and chocolate, and she was really personable and talkative. We both had a really good time exploring Melbourne and trying out a range of chocolate experiences, including cheese and chocolate pairings, truffle chocolate tastings and a walkthrough of Melbourne CBD.

This was the best tour. I thought I knew all about chocolate and Melbourne, but I left this tour ‘choc’ full of knowledge on both. Tonya was a great guide. She read our personalities very well, and adapted to each one in the group. Such a lovely way to learn about chocolate and the history of Melbourne. I would highly recommend a local or a tourist to do this. There’s something for everyone.

I took a Lanes and Arcades Chocolate and Dessert Walking Tour while I was in town to catch a show; it was a great way to spend the day. Our tour guide, Ivan, was friendly and had plenty of interesting tid-bits regarding Melbourne's history to say as we walked around, and his chocolate suggestions were on point! It was fun. It was delicious.

Mum and I went on the Chocolate Walking Tour this morning and we had Meg as our guide. She was absolutely amazing and made the experience even better. We went to 5 unique places and sampled their specialty Chocolates. We got a goodie bag with sample chocolates, water and a cool badge saying "I'm a chocoholic". We also learned some really interesting facts about the Block Arcade, Royal Arcade and the City. We highly recommend this. It was such a great day out!

Amazing!! So glad we went on this, we recommend it to anyone who loves either chocolate or Melbourne! I went with my partner on the 3-hour tour, it was a surprise for her, and we were not let down! We were met and guided through the tour by Meg who was absolutely wonderful! She has a real passion for both chocolate and Melbourne and it is infectious, you can't help but get excited with her taking you around! The tour was fabulous, seeing some gems and hidden secrets of Melbourne and of course tasting and coming away with deliciously crafted chocolates!! Would recommend for anyone of any age!

Our tour guide Meg was excellent. It was interesting to learn from her and some of the vendors about the history of the stores and locations. The tour introduced me to some hidden gems that I likely would not have stumbled upon by myself. Don't be intimidated that it's a walking tour, there is plenty of time between locations and none of them are very far from each other. There was something for every type of sweet tooth so if you're even considering doing the tour definitely go!

We had a wonderful day walking through Melbourne with Emily. Never would have found some of the venues without the tour guidance and everything was very personal, private, and enjoyable. Vendors gave discounts and were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour to to anyone in Melbourne that enjoys chocolate and seeing things from a “behind the curtain” kind of approach. Additionally, the tour was very affordable for what you got (5 stops at 5 different vendor locations). Walked away full but everything was just a delicious little sample.

Went on the tour and had Ivan as our guide. He was very friendly and had some awsome insites into Melbourne. I had lost my voice the day before and despite being able to only whisper, he did a great job at listening to me and answering any of my questions. The tour was a great way to spend the morning and the chocolates were very yummy!

We booked a Melbourne City Chocolate Walking Tour last minute as we were on a short holiday from NZ with a 16 and 13 year old. Was a bit apprehensive about walking around for two hours, but we had an absolutely amazing time and two hours went by in a flash! Tonya was a wonderful guide that was friendly, approachable and extremely knowledgeable about all the places we visited on our tour. We really enjoyed getting more in-depth information about the various arcades we walked through on our way to our chocolate destinations. Our favourite stop was Coal River Farm in Block Arcade with their amazing hot chocolate. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to do something a bit different and discover more little hidden gems in Melbourne city. Thank you Tonya and Chocoholic Tours! Will definitely be back for the adult only tour next time 😊

I was given a voucher for this Tour as a birthday present - and what a fantastic idea for a gift! My husband and I had a wonderful indulgent time, which we would highly recommend to anyone. Amanda, our tour guide, was delightful and able to give us so much information on each of the places we visited. We felt so much more connected to the business owners and to Melbourne itself. And I haven't even mentioned the chocolate! It was divine. If we weren't chocoholics to start with (which we were!), then we certainly were by the end. So if you are in any way partial to chocolate, then this is the Tour for you! Enjoy!

We did the chocolate and dessert tour in Melbourne Arcade which included 2 desserts, 3 drinks and 10 chocolate tastings across 5 choc stops. The tour was fantastic and our guide was very enthusiastic, patient and filled with energy. We discovered eateries and dessert shops in the CBD which we hadnt tried out earlier, the Columbian restaurant was a delight with their spicy and flavourful hot chocolate along with their dessert- Grandma’s cake. A very novel dessert which we’d love to go back to the restaurant for! The last stop had us do a chocolate and cheese pairing/tasting which was surprisingly wonderful! Overall, the tour was worth the money spent:)

Wonderful tour given to us by Sandra. Definitely something to do when you start your trip in Melbourne as she shares some great places to eat and visit. Saw more of Melbourne in those 2 hours then I have in my life. Her knowledge of Melbourne itself was amazing, she gave us some history of the places we walked through and we saw some hidden beauties that we wouldn’t have known existed without her. We didn’t feel like we were rushed we could look around and take our time. Super fun and very delicious treats and it ended wonderfully!

I took the tour on a saturday at 10.45am with Meg as our guide. All I can say is that it was great, the chocolate stops were different and things that I never tried before but tasted great. Of course, I had favourites but I am not mentioning them here. They should be a surprise for everybody who books the tour. Meg was fantastic, she has a natural ability to make people who have never met before feel comfortable and she gave us lots of funny and interesting facts about Melbourne. I recommend this tour 100% when you are open to meet new people and are ready to try some new things :-). Enjoy! Nicole, a visitor from Germany
