We had an AMAZING first experience at Tofte’s! I do not know if they accept walk-ins but the hostess recommended to get a reservation a couple of weeks in advance. Everything was great! The staff was super friendly and courteous, our waitress took us through the menu and showed us what would be the best way to order (some items are better if they’re shared). The food was perfect! Right temperature, cooked perfectly, and delicious! 5/5 recommend this place! Definitely coming back to try more items on their menu!!! Had my first visit to Tofte’s Table and was not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious, the service friendly, and the atmosphere nice. I sampled the Honey Martini, Tomato & Burrata, Butternut Shrimp, Braised Short Ribs and the Irish Cream Cheesecake. All were fabulous and generously portioned, but my favorite was the shrimp. What a treasure to have in Downtown Waukesha! I will be back! Just had my second visit and I’m now hooked! I sampled the Maple Bacon Sprouts, which were really good! I also ordered a scallop. I’ve had scallops at many restaurants (in the Midwest and the east and west coast) and I can honestly say it was the best scallop I’ve ever tasted. I also tried the tenderloin and it was fantastic. I’m convinced this is one of THE BEST restaurants in Waukesha County. Every bite was delicious, inventive even, and I can’t wait to come back!

Toftes Table is the best restaurant in the area by far, I highly recommend it! The service was amazing and the food was even better. It was a great experience and the dessert was awesome! We will definitely be going back.

With friends or just as a couple, highly recommended!!! If you love food you will love TT! You have to try the chicken and waffles, mouth watering!! Our favs are the chicken&waffles, duck confit tostada, Brussel sprouts!!! Save room for dessert.

Super cute place! The food was great, and Tristan was an amazing bartender! The duck tostada was 🤌💋 but the desserts were my favorite. I can't wait to return ☺️ great place to share a bunch of different things!

We were here recently, and ate at the bar. I would highly recommend doing the same. Tristan was our fantastic bartender. He was attentive, without being too pushy. He's a pro. We ordered several dishes, and enjoyed each one. The food is fantastic for the price, and drinks are also reasonably priced. If you have not been, there's no better time than the present!

I don't want anyone to know about this restaurant! Service, food, environment, drinks are 10/10. My goal is to order everything on their menu. Plates are easily shared between guests and each bite is so thought out, you will not be disappointed.

Our second time here. We love this place. Small shareable plates, craft cocktails. It's a perfect place for date night or birthday dinner or whatever. Highly recommend.

Such a fantastic dining experience downtown Waukesha! Tofte’s Table has great ambiance & even better food! The food is served family style with some small plates like tapas. The servers were politely attentive & the owner even stopped by to see how we were doing! Of the dishes we had, the Bacon Maple Glazed Sprouts & the Scallops with Basil Risotto were absolutely amazing and my favorites! The Grilled Octopus & the Duck Confit Tostadas were also fantastic! The Braised Beef Short Ribs were done to perfection and literally fell apart with a fork. The sticky toffee cake & Irish Cream Cheesecake were also great ways to finish off the meal. The drinks are creative & fresh takes on the traditional staples. The staff make it fun with the delivery as well when you order a Smokey Manhattan. They like to promote lots of “local” drinks with bourbons & beers from all around Wisconsin which makes it even more enjoyable. I will definitely be back with more friends! Side note: a reservation is needed. This place is very popular & the picture of the dining room was taken after 9pm when we were leaving.

The perfect date night. We had the truffle sprouts & tenderloin carpaccio for appetizers. Both were light & flavorful; a perfect start to our meal. We then had the scallop & beef tenderloin entrées which included hardier sides. Everything was very well cooked with balanced flavors. We ended our date with the cheesecake. I called this the exclamation point to a wonderful dinner!

What an outstanding place!!! Lovely ambiance, great service, impeccable food! The Maple Bacon Brussels might be my new favorite food! Will absolutely be back (maybe yet this week)!

I cannot say enough good things about this fine establishment. I made a reservation here for my husbands birthday on a Saturday night at 7:30. We were sat immediately and ordered some drinks which arrived promptly. My martini was excellent. We then ordered a series of plates and they each came out in perfect sequence. We ordered the braised pork belly, the gulf shrimp, the octopus, and the mushroom risotto to start. I would love to dive in to each plate and explain how fantastic everything was but it's not possible without actually tasting it. My husband was actually speechless after he took his first bite of the pork belly. I have never seen this before! We have traveled the country and had a lot of fine cuisine and this really takes the cake. In addition to the savory food, our waitress Claire was excellent and on point throughout the evening. My husband was so amazed by the food that he asked to compliment the chef, and we actually had a great conversation and he took the time to listen to what my husband had to say about the food. All in all, this is 10/5 stars hands down. And this is not the first time we will eat here. Whoever gave this less than 5 stars, shame on you.

Talking about the best dining experience, well that is exactly what I got here! The owner’s and staff are all so personable and it was a delightful to interact with them all, let me tell you, I am plant based and when I tell you they catered to me for my meal! Now the food… we got a good relationship because it was absolutely amazing. The texture the flavor all were just divine. Forget the 5/5 they get a 10! Get here and enjoy an amazing experience!

This continues to be one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always fresh and amazing and each staff member is so friendly. We recently did the "Chef's tasting" with our group of 6 and it was more amazing than I could imagine. Portions were slightly larger than their standard size to accommodate our group. I highly recommend.

This place consistently provides a fantastic experience. Servers provide you the full description of everything you are eating, they are attentive, and just really pleasant. And the food, THE BEST. Tapas-style means food comes out as it's ready, but I never felt I was waiting a long time between food coming. And it gave us the chance to try everything while it was the freshest. YOU MUST GET A DUCK CONFIT TOSTADA!

My husband and I have dined here several times over the last few years and can say sincerely that we have never left disappointed. The menu is expertly crafted and everything is delicious- we have never tasted a dish here that we haven't loved. I highly recommend the chefs selection which allows you to try a very generous sample of several plates, finished with dessert- you will leave with a very satisfied and full stomach. Speaking of dessert... make sure you leave room! Tofte's dessert menu is not to be missed. Try the sticky toffee pudding. You won't regret it. The service is also always impeccable. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and eager to ensure that your experience is a pleasant one. Could not recommend this restaurant more.

If you want great food, and excellent service, look no further! We had a reservation, and was promptly seated. Our server took great care of us. Very tentative, and friendly. I have celiac and need to eat gluten free, and they took wonderful precautions! The scallops were excellent! My SO ordered the fried chicken, and absolutely loved the honey sauce! I had the tenderloin which was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The parmesan mash went nicely with the meat. For dessert we had the flourless chocolate cake. Let me tell you.. that might be the best flourless chocolate cake I’ve ever had. Holy moly! It went well with my cup of coffee too. We’ll definitely be back! 🙌🏼

The best fine dining in Waukesha at reasonable prices. Shareable plate experience makes this a unique and special occasion spot. Make reservations early because they book up fast and get the damn maple brussel sprouts! My mother was horrified that we were ordering brussel sprouts. She ended up having seconds! Desserts and drinks were phenomenal and service is always top notch! Under $200 for 4 people which was a great price for the exceptional food and service. Will always be back!!

I love this place! Very delicious small plates restaurant. The menu is diverse and it’s difficult to choose what to order because everything is delicious. My favorites are the Braised Short Ribs, French Fries, and Beet salad. Tristan is also a very talented Bartender.

We came here with a large group for a friends birthday. We all did the Chefs special and it was amazing! Unique food that was presented beautifully. Our service was great too!

Love Tofte's Table. Been here plenty of times and it is always good. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We came this time to taste the new fall menu. Made a reservation for a Wednesday night. The place was packed when we got there. Got seated right away. There were 4 in our party. The drinks were all good. Got a mix of wine, specialty cocktails. Had about seven different plates and saved room for dessert. We always like to try the new menu items. A couple of the one ones were really good including; shrimp and ravioli, and kielbasa. We all agreed that the new Escargot was not up to our expectations. Too beefy and salty for our palates. Had the Flourless Chocolate Cake and Creme Brulee. Great finish to an awesome meal. Looking forward to our next visit :)

I truly enjoyed my experience at this establishment. I brought my mother here after diligent research to find a place that would cater to vegan and those who are gluten free. Our entrance through the door, we were quickly greeted. We had reservations, which we were 20 minutes early for and the host offered to get us drinks as we waited. She was personable and respectful. Being a person of color, we are looked at as people who don’t tip and are super needy, but we weren’t treated as such. The fine dining experience was a 10/10. The entire staff was delightful and educated on the menu. The entire experience was above and beyond what anyone could greeted ask for and the food was phenomenal. I honestly prefer their kale and collard dip over any other restaurants spinach dip. Thank you all so much for your kindness and delightful entrees. Please visit, if you haven’t!

Food offerings are unique and consistently delicious. I really appreciate that they shake up the menu seasonally. Plan ahead because getting a reservation can take awhile- which I attribute to how good they are! I LOVE the sticky toffee pudding for desert, give it a try!
