This restuarant is cozy and very popular on facebook. We each ordered 3 item combo platter (they are pick your own). -My platter was 2 pork chimichangas and a tostada. -Her platter was chicken taco, shredded beef enchilada, and chicken chimichanga. Both of the platters came with refried beans, rice, and sour cream. The chimichangas were really good. The meat in each dish was tender, well seasoned, and delicious. The chips and salsa were also very good. The spice level was decent (depending on individual taste)but they did offer hot sauce if you needed to kick it up a notch. The one complaint is that parking could be an issue as it is street parking. We were lucky as someone was leaving as we arrived.

We’ve been semi-regular here for a couple years now. We’ve been so happy every time, we’ve even brought family in when they’re in town. They make you feel like family here 💛. On the rare occasion there was an issue, it was remedied quickly and with kindness. I have never had an item from the menu I didn’t love- and I’ve tried a lot! Definitely try their molè sauce and the white cheese sauce at some point. You won’t be getting fancy foods or fine dining, but I promise you’ll have delicious food and excellent service

Amazing service, and the best salsa ever!!! I came here on vacation with my family of 10, and they made it super easy to accommodate us. 🙂

This was my family and I’s first time eating here and it was a good experience. The staff was very nice and our waitress was polite and helpful. The margaritas were very tasty and came in large portions which was great. The food was good but nothing too amazing. I enjoyed my tacos and sides. I was not a huge fan of the salsa but my family liked it. Overall I would recommend this restaurant and would likely come back.

Delicious. The chorizo here is exceptional! They have homemade corn tortillas. The rice and beans are also top notch.

Went here for the first time, because it is a favorite spot for a number of people who were in our party. This family owned and operated Mexican restaurant looks like a small place from the outside, and though not huge, was able to accommodate our party of 9 at 5:00 on a Wednesday. The table chips and salsa, refried beans and rice were good and the classic margaritas tasty without too much alcohol. Though not a fan of corn tortillas, I took a chance and ordered the homemade corn tortillas, which were absolutely out of this world! They were warm and soft, and like everything else we had, extremely fresh. I wanted something spicy, so asked the owner what she recommended. She offered the Lomo De Res with a combination of the Verde and Arbol salsas. She was spot on! It was spicy enough for me without being over the top. The shredded beef burrito was a generous size, and also very flavorful. Although not on our side of town, this place was worth the drive and I can't wait to go back!

Cute little place with a homey feel. Food was delicious. Staff was welcoming and very friendly. I like to order all ala carte items so I can try several dishes but not fill up on rice and beans. Had a chicken tostada, ground beef taco on their handmade corn tortilla, a cheese enchilada, and a steak burrito. Portions are sizable. I ate everything but the burrito while there and brought that home for dinner tonight. Everything tasted wonderful. The chicken was moist and tender and the handmade tortilla on the taco was fluffy and very tasty. The others in the group all enjoyed their meals as well.

Our first time after hearing so many good things about this place. We were warmed greeted upon entering. We were then seated immediately, chips and salsa on the table. Our waitress Valerie was superb. Our drinks arrived quickly, and our order was ready and on the table in record time. The food was spectacular, I cannot remember when I have eaten better. I was extremely impressed that one of the owners personably stopped by the table to greet us and ask how everything was. This is now our go-to place for Mexican food.

Best Mexican resturaunt in Waukesha. Hands down. Margaritas are fantastic, food is great, service is wonderful. Makes me wanna go every week lol. I went a couple weeks ago with my gma and I got the chimichangas (not so traditional) but I still love them. This week I got the Chilaquiles, which I have never tried but have heard of them and they are amazing. My new fave mexican dish!!! They are so friendly there and make you feel like family. I cannot recommend this place enough!!! Only thing I honestly wasn't a fan of was the salsa. But honestly that didn't matter to me as much as the main meal.

Started out a little slow with a wrong drink order but they were very busy and it was just a different flavor margarita so not that big of a deal. Food came fast but still had time to enjoy their tasty chips and salsa. The fajitas and homemade tortillas were awesome. The micheleda was very good as well. This was my first time here and I will be back.

Definitely muy rico food. First time visit was a 5 start experience. Good food. Hand made tortillas. Salsa was fresh and subtle without any extra saltiness. Sauce for shrimp was spicy with lingering flavor. Lots of Places to sit outside and inside. Great service. Loved it.

Always highly rated . If you like Mexican American food you will likely enjoy this place . I would not say it’s authentic by any stretch however . Salsa was good , guac was so-so, really lacked much flavor . I actually added some salt . We ordered a burrito rojo which my son described as “pretty mid , wouldn’t necessarily want to eat again. “ I had the Chicken Poblano Mole which I would say was average , again I have pretty high standards and anyplace that serves lettuce with its tacos or burrritos etc.. is automatically disqualified as “authentic “ . Homemade tortillas were good however . The last dish ordered was the steak tacos which I was told were very good . My margarita was average, I asked for no sugar no salt on the rim and got it anyhow . The refried beans were very good . Portions are ample . Service was a bit slow however staff was friendly and they are very busy here and it’s popular amongst locals .

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The service, food, and drinks all were amazing. It’s a very small space with some bright lights which can be off putting at some places, but the minute you walk in you’re greeted kindly and seated as quickly as possible. I noticed they have a patio area, but the night we were there it was closed. I’m assuming it’s normally open. It had rained earlier in the day?? Chips and salsa were great and the fajitas were some of the best restaurant fajitas I’ve had!

Outstanding dinner! Best chicken enchiladas in the area! We’ve been here multiple times and we always leave super happy! The server was very attentive and manager came over multiple times to assure we were enjoying everything. Homemade hot sauce was very good! Cold beers are always a plus! It was our 6 year old daughters birthday and multiple servers came to our table with a complimentary dessert and sang happy birthday! She felt super special and they let her wear a sombrero! Our youngest daughter made a huge mess and they were so nice, smiled politely and said not to worry about cleaning it up when I asked for a broom. Definitely our favorite restaurant, always looking forward to returning.

We love going here! The owners are so involved making sure every customer is getting attention. Most recently we stopped on a cool rainy day and the Tortilla Soup really hit the spot!

Great service, even better food! The steak tacos just how I like them with cilantro and onions we're perfect, my friend had the pork enchiladas and said that there's no place better. I don't know how they season the meats or what they cook it with but it is top notch! The hot sauce is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Definitely coming back again! 👍

I have been here twice now and my husband and I just love coming here! The food is very delicious, service is fast, friendly, courteous, and the prices are very fair and reasonable! This is a great example of a local neighborhood restaurant where regulars come in and enjoy the food and environment. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Excellent little place. I got a Medium Prickly Pear Margarita. That was so excellent with my taco dinner. Got beef tacos with cilantro and onion. They also had tomatoe, lettuce, and cheese, but I opted for simply cilantro and onion on my corn tortias. Everything was excellent and the staff super nice even though the place was packed with a line out the door, for good reason! Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants!
