My family often go Bunnings buy stuff for gardening and tools for houses . The only bad experience we had was around 3pm 02/10/2022 at Olsen ave Southport qld, we bought 3 small garden pots and paid at the self help machine . when we finished scanning he 3 pots , an Asian female staff at her 50s walked to us and picked one pot scanned herself saying that we bought 3 but only scanned 2 . I said that you just scanned a 4th pot payment that in fact we only bought 3. We feel very very uncomfortable why she had no respect and treated us like we cheated . If you really suspect that we miss scan one item , you should have spoken to us instead of picking the item and scanning yourself without let us know in advance and just did it yourself . That behaviour truly insults a loyalty customer .

This store is a busy place and a bit smaller than the other Gold Coast ones. Its timetable is very handy, specially if you have a last minute emergency at the evening ( No worries, is opened till 9pm, Monday Friday) If you are morning person, not me, the doors will open to you at 06:30 am, Monday to Friday; and 7am Saturday and Sunday. In the other hand, if you are a workaholic and love to work every weekend, the store will be open for you till 07pm Saturday and 6pm Sunday. As a busy place the staff is always trying to do their best, however sometimes you can feel a bit lonely if you are looking for this no name little, tiny stuff. 😀

Massive hardware store. There is ample parking for three hours. Staff are friendly and very supportive. There is a great variety of all the house, garden, etc items. In every item there is a wide selection ranging from cheap to good quality expensive items. Also in store you will find many clearance items with great value for money. You start loving gardening after visiting this store.

I love shopping at this Bunnings. It is easy to get in and to get out. Ample parking and the store itself is quite big, and I can get what I need. I usually look on the website first to see where the items I need are located, that saves me time and I don't have to search.

I was a little upset when asked about assembly of my bbq and stand last Saturday. As I've a disability and wouldn't be able to assemble myself. Was told they were basically assembled in their boxes. Pfffft, no, they weren't, I would've paid extra to have someone there do it for me. But I was lied to. Hence the low rating guys!!!!!

Max was a great help and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and support.

I went here looking for a lawn mower. And realized that the cost of one had jumped since the last time I had looked. And in passing, mentioned it to one of the staff. He then pointed out one that was on sale, for a reasonable price. I now have the lawn mower, and the experience was very enjoyable. The staff were so helpful, and considerate.

Always has more stock than other Bunnings. Great place.

Has things needed. Getting help in the paint department is near impossible. We've had 4 goes at it and failed to be served, plus they didn't know the answers to our questions. One of the younger staff members told me you can only get Chalkboard paint in black whilst we were standing in front of a sample of an Aqua Blue chalkboard. Front of house staff are lovely and a male staff member helped us in flooring even though it wasn't his area. The flooring person also helped. They were both great.

Megan and Emily both give me absolutely amazing service. They went way and above to help me with advice and find products. Definitely deserve a HUGE payrise 😱🙂

Callam gives me the best advice. He was putting the paint in the aisle. He left straight away to help me. We have a 1-minute quick chat about 20 different sealants for water use. He knew his stuff. He knows the other aisle. I grab ten/items in 3 minutes from 22 to 52 to 40. This guy is a computer. Highly raccomand. Young! Smart!

Like most Bunnings. Most of the staff don’t want to help customers and will just keep walking away mid-conversation if you ask where anything is. You will have a better chance if you ask a customer where something is than the staff honestly.

Georgina was the best and most helpful employee and provided me with most outstanding service. Was extremely helpful and will be my reason for returning to the establishment. Was very impressed with her exceptional tool knowledge and enthusiasm to help. Would strongly recommend some kind of reward like a raise or promotion.

Bunnings have everything for sure. And I know staff are an issue. When you get someone they're always so helpful and lovely but it's hard to find help. Hope they can get some more staff and put this away as it really is their only main issue.

Have just left Bunnings Southport. The Asian Lady her name is Judy was working on Self Serve she is so Rude and Abrupt. Made us feel very Uncomfortable. All other Staff are so Pleasant and Helpful.

Bunnings are great! I luv how they let me bring my pup inside too! Staff are really friendly!

Always heaps of variety. Kitchen sinks to outdoor plants, there's something for everyone and the staff are really helpful. Definitely a great place to visit for any DIY project. We stopped in for a new kitchen tap.

This store has one of the best garden sections of the bunnings stores. The staff are helpful and they actually look after the plants.

I visited the store and had excellent service from Rod and Mel in customer service. Rod had excellent product knowledge and valuable advice and Mel was interactive and delightful. Keep up the great work guys Thank you Alex

Staff are ignorant and unhelpful. Would give this place a miss. There are plenty of other Bunnings branches to go to and get good service.

This is By far the worst managed Bunnings on the Gold Coast. Half the the plants don’t have prices on them because the staff are to lazy. Waited at tradie entrance to pick up some gear and they left me sitting at the boom for ten minutes before someone opened it… wasn’t busy. Staff looked at me there and kept chatting with his other staff mate…. Lazy and poorly managed. Not going there again better at Nerang Bunnings. Maybe a new in experienced manager is in order.

Stupid management. They close self service and have 3 checkouts going with 20+ people lines and slow service. Why not open self service and let the people buying one item go quickly instead of making them wait for people with trolley loads of stuff! It took me 20 minutes to pay for 1 item. Ridiculous! Move one of your slow staff off a register to watch the self service. Its not rocket science!

It's great when they have stock. When you find stuff they are relatively helpful.. A shop with everything you need. Single handedly wiping out 99.9% of the small suppliers!

Larger store than Bunnings Arundel, and *always* has sausages on the weekend, unlike some of the other Bunnings on the coast. Also quite large parking lot, so finding a spot is always effortless. And did I mention the sausages?
