Great spot to visit if you like cats. There were 16 cats available to interact with while we were there. Most cats were napping or lounging. Some cats wanted to play. The coffee is terrible, tastes like muddy water and overpriced approx. $6 each with the credit card surcharge.

Had lunch there (very nice toasties) before our cat session. Some of the cats are very interactive and other are content to just be patted. Nicole the staff member on duty was very friendly and could any questions about the cats. Will definitely go again.

A beautiful place to enjoy a cuppa and relax with the cats. The cats are well groomed and looked after with some rehomed (albeit now to a better home at the cafe). The cats are gentle with the kids and adults alike and there are many different breeds. Staff very friendly. Check out if you're in the area.

Loved this place! So many furry felines under one roof is my idea of heaven! The cats seemed really happy, the coffee was great and the service was warm and friendly. Kelly was wonderful! Will definitely be back to visit again. Meow :)

Cats, cats everywhere. Was told there were 23 cats here. They all seem happy and well cared for. Most of them were pretty chill and sleepy - probably because they had enough dealing with humans all day 😂 The upkeep must be crazy. There's no sign of poop or urine or smells even though there's quite a few cats here.

Great cat cafe (have been to dozens in France, Italy, Austria, USA, Japan, NZ etc). Cats are a little sleepy at times but super friendly. They like neck rubs and bum pats. Some smash you with their nose or heads and the others just like to be near you. Out of the other Australian cat cafes I've been to in Syd, Hobart and Melbourne, these cats are by far the friendliest. Make sure you stop by.

We went there on Saturday (along weekend). Some cats were Very cute! 😻But most of cats were sleeping or relaxing and not quite active. Some were hiding inside the room and not coming out therefore I didn't feel right disturbing them. 😼 2 new baby kitties were just arrived and not yet vaccinated . People couldn’t touch these 2 newbies at all . 3 cats couldn’t be carried. Others were good to play and touch . All cats were well looked after. Staff were friendly . Unlike most cat cafes, there wasn’t a complimentary drink. But the price seemed fair. However I didn't like too many people were let in at once. There were more than 10 people in the same section with us and it was crowded. Some cats also felt stress. 😿😾

Visited here as part of my 40th birthday visit to the Gold Coast. If you love cats, this is the place to be! There were 17 cats in total, and I think we managed to interact with all of them. Special surprise bonus that it was one of the cat's birthdays and we got to join in the sing-song - and the cat happened to be the same age as me (well, in equivalent human years of course). Bizarre coincidence but one that made the visit even more memorable. We also grabbed a couple of drinks (the place is licenced) and a couple of toasties. The team member who was working was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend a visit if you are a cat lover!

Had a wonderful time at the crazy cat cafe. Wonderful and friendly staff, who are willing to go above and beyond to give you a great experience. The cats are really lovely and friendly. My fave is Jimmy cause he's a great cuddle buddy. It's clear the well-being and health of the cats are top priority because they are well cared for and loved. The place itself is really cat friendly and enriched. Overall wonderful experience, would recommend to anyone.

Cats are adorable and some of them are really playful. We did not get the chance to try the Cafe food, they were closing when we arrived and we only spent half the time. We really enjoyed spending time with the cats.

Really cute space with lots of different cats! Just wish there was more room since it can get very busy with lots of people around. The cats have such unique and entertaining personalities! They were also very intrigued by my laundry basket 😅

Highly recommended cat cafe! We booked ahead for the Monday 4.30pm session. Nina greeted us promptly when we arrived, was very friendly, and clear with her instructions. Many of the cats were active and a few were keen to play. The new kitten is absolutely adorable. There were many different breeds of cats. The cafe is clean and spacious. There were plenty of spots for the cats to relax.

An amazing variety of different breeds and personalities of cats. Really good iced drinks, my partner loved the iced chai. Well cared for cats that had their own zone that they could go to, but customers out not access giving the cats a place to get away. Very very good place for cats.

We had the best time. So many breeds, ages, personalities. You’ll definitely fall in love with a cat (or 10). Unique, memorable experience. We’ll be back again one day! Big thanks to Amy who was super friendly and welcoming. She let us know the names of some cats and made the experience even better. Highly recommend whether you’re cat obsessed or not, you’ll enjoy this experience.

Every second of my time was so pleasant when I went to Crazy Cat Café today, I cannot speak highly enough of Holly, she is the kindest, warmest and most gentle woman you will ever meet and she made my experience (and day) about 1000 times better with her friendliness. You should be proud to have a person like her working in your team. A must visit in Surfer’s Paradise if you are a cat lover, Keep you eye out for the cats Jimmy and the exotic tundra cat with the short tail whose name I keep forgetting. Will definitely be back and will be recommending this to other people 💗

If you are a cat lover this is the place for you. Staff are extremely friendly and informative. So many cute kitties to cuddle. And a variety of drinks and food to choose from.

On my 7 day visit, I came to the cafe 4 times! Worth every cent when you break down the cost of caring for 22 cats, rent, food and employees pay. As someone who knows the cost of the above, this business is under charging! Cats are well loved and enjoy the attention. This place is one of the very few cat cafes that allow you to pick up selected cats which was a highlight to get a cuddle from Jimmy! Before entering, you are told about the cats that do not enjoy being picked up or have medical issues. The business cares so much about the animals welfare and I am so happy to support this business ☺️

Had a blast meeting so many cute kitties. Chelsea was an absolute delight of a host and made us feel very welcome. 10/10 recommend, especially if you’re on holidays missing your own fur babies

That was honestly the best experience ever! We went at 9:30am and the cats were active and super friendly. Gabby made us awesome coffees and was really nice. She made our visit even better!!! I definitely recommend visiting this place for fellow cat lovers - you wouldn’t regret it! Thank you Gabby!!! 💜

Very cute! There were apparently 21 cats while we went but I think more than half were hiding out back in the litter area 😅 Most cats were sleeping, maybe because we went in the arvo. Didn't feel right disturbing them. Unlike most cat cafes, you don't get a complimentary drink. But the pricing seemed fair. I didn't like how many people were let in at once, we had about 10 people in with us and it felt crowded, and then we were all trying to get the attention of the same few cats. There is a VIP option to book a room privately but we didn't know about it until we arrived. The cats were all adorable though, and staff were really friendly. Would've enjoyed the staff coming in a bit to settle cats with people as some of the other people were picking up the sleeping cats or just seemed scared to handle them.

Such an amazing experience, there's nothing like sitting down with your beverage of choice surrounded by adorable cats, 50 minutes just disappears in a blink. Cats are super chill, very content and well cared for.

All of the cats are so so lovely. So friendly and the ones that might be an issue are clearly identifiable by the extremely amazing staff. Special shout-out to the cutest cat, Buzz. If I could take him home with me I would.

This was my first visit to a cat café. It's definitely a must visit if you are a cat lover and happen to be nearby. Unfortunately, most of the cats were asleep the time I visited. However, I did manage to get 3 cats who happened to be awake to play! Buzz, the youngest cat, was the most playful. There were 21 cats of different breeds!

Loved my visit here! A good variety of cat breeds, a nice relaxing atmosphere, and friendly staff. A lot of the cats were sleepy by the afternoon and enjoyed pats no problem! Bonnie stole my heart for sure :) All cats well looked after and so so cute!! Chelsea the staff was incredibly lovely and welcoming and was happy to chat about the little residents. Would recommend Crazy Cat Café to anyone in the area, would love to visit again :)

GREAT CAT CAFE! Honestly the best I’ve been to! So many lovely cats, our staff NINA was absolutely wonderful, really great explanation of cats personalities, which ones to pick up and where to wash hands/grab toys! Super chatty and a great help!! Really welcoming feeling, super clean establishment, we’ve come back EVERYTIME we’ve travelled to Gold Coast! Absolutely love it!!

I had a great day at this cat cafe! The cats are so calm and chill, living their best lives. If you love cats and are in the area, it’s definitely worth stopping by. Megan, the manager, was so lovely and accommodating! Will definitely visit again 😻

Really wonderful place, I had Chelsea in the front who greeted me and gave me a quick rundown on what to do and what not to do, she was incredibly understanding and was even willing to answer my inquiries about cats and many more. I had the mushroom quiche and cookies and milk milkshake, they were pretty good. Personally didn't have to book or anything, went on a Friday at 1 pm. Overall great experience, cats were adorable and really well trained, they were really friendly and obviously well loved. 10/10 would come again when I have time!

Incredible experience! I wandered in by accident the first time, having just seen the signs on street level pointing up, and I had some time to waste- and it was time not wasted for certain! This cat cafe is a gem. There's the cafe area that you can sit and have a drink in, with a glass wall to watch the cats, or you can pay an entry fee to go inside and play with the cats. The interior is well-maintained and clean, well-aerated so it doesn't smell at all, and it's spacious for both cats and guests to co-exist without getting into each other's personal space. It's obvious that the cats are well-cared for. In fact, while I was there, the employee was picking the up one by one to brush their teeth! It was lovely to know that the cats are loved and cared for. Shout out to Fran, who welcomed me both times I went (because yes, I HAD to go back a second time, with a friend in tow, too). She was very helpful, so nice to chat with, and just made me feel so welcome. It really felt like home away from home. Thank you Fran! All in all, just a wonderful place to go to lose yourself and relax for a little while. I've left Surfer's Paradise now, but I've left a piece of my heart there with the cats- Willie especially <3

I first visited in 2019 and my second visit was in 2023 and it was so nice that 4 years later there were so many cats that I knew and was able to have the same cuddles with. The atmosphere is amazing and the friendly staff really help to settle you in. Megan was training a new staff member and still ensured she kept up with our needs at the same time. It was great watching them walk around to ensure the rooms were clean and sanitary. When first arriving a lot of the cats were asleep so it was nice to get some little pats in, then when they were all waking up it was great to be able to give them some cuddles. Highly recommend putting this in your list of things to do when in Surfers Paradise as it’s a great experience to be able to see all the different breeds of cats and be able to have cuddles.

My mate and I just got back from the most amazing experience at the crazy cat cafe!?! If you love cats then this is definitely the place for you!?! We were greeted by the lovely Chelsea and we were able to ask her questions about the place and about the cats, she was an absolute delight to chat with. We were very lucky to be able pat and play with the cats, we even got to brush some of them if they were willing, loved doing that!?! To be able to not only spend time with the cats, they also offer a food and drink menu.

Chelsea was my hostess of the evening. She was incredibly friendly and was doing a regular check up with the cats when I was there. She told me alot about the individual times and just generally educated me on the place which was really nice. The cats were all super friendly and my favourite was Jimmy since he let me hold him like a baby. 3rd time going there and they had more cats which just meant more friendly faces. I recommend this small place to any cat lovers or anyone just looking for a new experience!!!
