We hosted an event here in the back garden for 80 people and we had a great time. The venue was very accommodating to our requests and the night went smoothly. I liked the fact that because our event wasn’t catered, the attendees could easily buy their own food and drink through a QR code on the table or at the bar. Heaters and blankets were setup for the cold evening, and there was space for us to put up a flower wall. We will use The Henchman for our next event!

We had our wedding reception in there 'backyard' function area, everything was really well organised, from the initial grazing plate, to food being brought out throughout the night and private bar. Tallulah and team kept the night relaxed and stress free just how we wanted it.

Very charming. Great place with nice outdoor spaces and a cool old building. Look forward to returning for some live music. Great vibes.

The Henchmen have it all sorted with fast service, a online ordering system so you can get anything you want when you want. I ordered oysters and they where really good and the price was amazing and I couldn't believe it 😲. The atmosphere was great and a wicked spot to meet up with friends and family. Well set up and will be back for sure. Keep it up🤘🤘🍻🍻

Such a cool cozy place, coffee are great, food are yummy. Pet friendly. Staff are friendly. Their acai smoothie are amazing. Definitely my favourite place.

"If you are looking for a playground, go to a playground" I recently visited "The Henchmen" Café with my friends with small walking toddlers, hoping for a pleasant relaxed dining experience. However, I must say that our visit was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my negative experience. To start with, we were initially drawn to the café by the presence of a gated area with toys, which led us to assume it was an enclosed space for children to play safely. Unfortunately, our kids kept escaping as a member of the staff repeatedly opened the gate. Concerned for their safety, we kindly asked the staff to keep the gate closed. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, the presumed manager approached us and responded rudely, saying, "If you are looking for a playground, go find a playground“ This dismissive and impolite remark left a sour taste in our mouths and cut out visit short. As we were leaving, not a single staff member said farewell or thank you for coming, a basic courtesy in service. Moreover, the quality of the food at "The Henchmen" Café was subpar. I ordered the Rooster sandwich, which took an astonishingly long time—over 45 minutes—to arrive at our table. Considering it was a simple dish, the excessive wait was entirely unjustified. When the sandwiches finally arrived, they were disappointing. The ingredients seemed lackluster, and the overall taste fell far below my expectations. It was evident that little care was put into the preparation of the meal. Aside from the issues mentioned above, the overall atmosphere of the café was underwhelming. The service was slow. The lack of professionalism and courtesy demonstrated by the manager set a negative tone for the entire experience. As a customer, I expect a certain level of service, especially when dining out at a place that has reviews for being "kid friendly". Unfortunately, "The Henchmen" Café failed to meet even the most basic standards. I would caution others to think twice before visiting this establishment, as there are undoubtedly better options available in the area. In summary, our visit to "The Henchmen" Café was marred by a gate that was repeatedly left open despite our concerns, a rude and unaccommodating manager, below-average food quality, and an excessively long wait time for a simple sandwich. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this café based on my disappointing experience.

What an absolute pearl this place is. Had a business meeting yesterday and ordered the special. A cheeseburger and fries OMG. Taste, presentation and quantity was 10 put of 10. Came here today and accidentally ordered 2 lots of the special chicken wings OMG, best of breed. Had a look at the menu, wow, something for everyone and then some. we’ll priced and ample servings. The staff are amazing. It’s nice to be surprised in my old age :-) Keep it up guys. ✊🏻✊🏻✌🏿✌🏿🙏🙏

Brilliant spot for a cheeky coffee or brekkie stop. Heard it turns into dins/night life later on too so will have to check that out another time! The brekkie burrito with scrambled eggs and chorizo is the hangover fix of dreams and they have an entire section of the menu for puppers. Pup cup and biscuit were cute touches and love the grassy space.

So pleasantly surprised when we called in for breakfast with our fur baby this morning, the space is open and inviting and plenty of comfortable room to have a big dog inside, even a doggy menu which we loved! The human food and coffee was above our expectations! We will be back

This is the best bar on the coast, no competition. Parking is limited especially at busy times, but the food, cocktails and live music make it worth the effort, every time. The staff here are very entertaining and fun and the clientele are happy to chat and laugh, its always a very fun crowd. The Henchman is dog friendly and the atmosphere makes it my goto venue for lunch or a few laughs on the weekend. I strongly recommend the Henchy Burger and a Weiss Bar cocktail although the loaded fries are always hard to say no to!

I took my little boy here for a morning after his swimming class (!), as it was nearby and I hadn't tried it before. Although it was a little more adult oriented, the staff were really lovely, the outdoor eating area has a GREAT feel, and I was aching to have one of their cocktails (I didn't, but they looked great). First was great. No negatives at all. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Unacceptable Service and Unsafe Environmend The café was anything but customer and child-friendly, despite having a designated area with toys for young children. The biggest problem was that the staff deliberately kept opening the gate to this area, allowing the children (not even 2 years old) to easily escape. This was not only frustrating for us as parents, but also potentially dangerous for the children themselves. We constantly had to divide our attention between our food and preventing our children from running away. There were this gated area assumes the Henchman is child friendly, it is certainly not! What surprised and disappointed us the most was the response from the staff when we kindly requested them to keep the gate closed. Instead of showing understanding and ensuring the safety of the children, they simply said, "If you're looking for a playground, go to a playground." This lack of customer orientation and failure to ensure guest safety was truly shocking. Also we had to wait for food and coffee way to long. 45 minutes for just a simple brekkie burrito.

The spot to be hands down, loved everything about it, the young man play the guitar and singing, what a legend...

Amazing place!! Highly recommend and I was very impressed! Only aspect that could be better was to have more interaction with the staff! The QR codes on the tables make this place contact free almost. Great place to hang out, good vibes, great decor and amazing food!!

Had my 25th birthday celebrations there the other weekend and it was just the perfect venue - hired the upstairs pool room and it was just what I wanted and needed. They made everything so easy for me, it was great :)

Great place for dogs which is why we go here frequently. The food is really good . The only downside is that quite often when ordering online through the table QR code service, our drinks orders are often forgotten about which causes confusion/delays. I think maybe the automatic bar ordering system is not effectively managed. Which is a shame, because other than that it's a great place. Unfortunately whenever we do go there we're unsure as to whether or not we'll get lucky with carefree service.

Found this place by accident when we drove past. Trendy little place serving really lovely food and great coffee. It has heaps of seating and most in the shade which is great. My only note was that i prefer back bacon but thats not a complaint.

I have had the best experience at the Henchman Miami. Hollie was so welcoming and attentive. She has a genuine positive attitude and infectious smile and went above and beyond for not only myself and my mates but also the other customers. I will definitely be returning. She has given my friends and I am memorable experience I will never forget. Jaidyn has also been great at service. I will be back next week!

Booked a table for 20 for my 21st birthday dinner and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The staff were overly accommodating and I could sense the positive work environment. Lovely to be served by people who seem to really enjoy their job! The bingo night was so much fun - props to the host. Amazing cocktails and food. Thankyou for making my birthday a special one ❤️

One of my favourite spots on the coast by far! Great staff, so many things to do, always has the best atmosphere and amazing food served fast. Always new events mixing it up for the costumers. I’ve also noticed the owner supports local business’s; this is a big plus for all the locals. Great business!

We really enjoyed our experience here this evening. Great environment , spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and prompt. Ordering from our phone makes your selection less stressed than having a busy waiter looming over you needing you to make a quick choice. Our dinner came (just alittle bit of a wait) and looked delish! Overall it was yummm and will definately have it again. This place was busy... I would not hesitate to say The Henchman is the best cafe/ restaurant in the area. A Fantastic experience to be had while venturing back into the pre-post covid world. Well done and very well executed!! I think that one would never get bored here as there are a variety of environments you can sit at everytime you visit. We will be back and endorsing this place!!

I love their food and how they have the outdoor settings. They have this cute swing that kids and even adults get excited for lol. They also serve the food quick. A nice place for breakky and it wasn't that hard to find a parking as well, but unsure if that's because I went on a Sunday. I just hope they clean their toilet as it really stinks, hence the reason why I am only giving it 4 stars.

Highly recommend this cool venue. Great attentive and friendly service. The açai bowl was fresh, generous and bursting with flavour. My partners scrambled eggs were creamy, accompanied by perfectly cooked salmon. The coffee was nothing short of outstanding-yes coming from Melbourne coffee drinkers! Loved the surroundings and cannot wait to return.

I would NEVER go back. I ordered a hot chocolate which was terrible,it tasted like Milo and hot water. I ordered caramel in my hot chocolate couldn't even taste it. I ordered a ham cheese and onion jaffel which I waited 20 minutes to get. It was full of tomato. When I didn't want tomato, there was no ham in it at all. Most of the staff were nice tho Not worth$20 and a 30 minute wait.
