I am extremely disappointed. We went here on purpose, having read about the history of this place, which has more than 100 years, and about the traditions that are kept here. However, I can't say that the pizza was delicious. The dough was too hard, dried and stale. Maybe because it's initially machine-rolled before being shaped into a circle by hand, or because of the ingredients. Anyway, this dough was simply impossible to eat, as it was hard as a stone. Before our order was brought, I thought that I would like to try all the pizzas here, since pizza is my favorite dish that I am ready to eat every day. After we tried the classic Margherita and Neapolitana, there is no desire to try something else. This is definitely not Italian pizza and rather something in between Italian and “Dutch style”. While we were waiting for the order, they brought us a ciabatta with an appetizer, which was nice but it was soon taken away, although we did not finish it. That was strange.

Hands down the worse pizza I ever had! I don’t understand the people who like the pizza here. Obviously they never had a quality pizza in their lives. I only took one bite and left the disgusting pizza. The waiter did not even bother to ask. I guess he did not care. This says enough about this place.

Delightful handmade ice-cream to keep you chill in hot summer! We tried Pistachio and Coffee and they were awesome flavours. The Pistachio ice-cream is loaded with pistachios, it gives you that amazing crunchy taste!

So much have I been hearing about this place, everything I heard was positive, specially the tiramisu. I finally went there, and the pizzas were just normal, one of them was even tastless. There was no more tiramisu left when we ordered. The staff were very harsh and not really friendly.

This pizza bar existed before the world war and until this day they still making the best real Italian pizza's in NL!!! Strongly recommend the home made Tiramisu. The best Tiramisu i ever had in my life 👌👌👌👌.

Excellent pizzas, FULL IN FLAVOR. Kind service with humor. With some unconventional choices, such as fried aubergine with smoked ricotta (pizza Norma), or pancetta coppa (neck?) with balsamic, but all are tasty. Good price and generous serving for a satisfying meal. Absolutely worth for traveling and queuing. (Weekday after 8pm without queue.) Changed my opinion of tomato sauce on pizza. Warning: It is nice they offer free and tasty appetizer (soft focaccia bread with garlic tomato cheese spread), but I think the spread is overpowering. Next time I would skip the spread, so I can taste the pizza fully. (I sincerely hope the owner can find something else to feed their hungry guests soon!) Pack them home if you cannot finish it, because they taste good on the second day too!

Best pizzas in town. Fast serving. Feels like you are in beautiful Italy.

A place where they have ice cream to sell but they don't sell for you, unless you order a Pizza.... I have never seen this before in my life!!

Good food but a small space, so quite noisy. The pizza was good but missing seasoning like oregano, peper, etc.

Delicious pizza which tasted fresh and authentic. You also get served some bread before the pizza (which they don’t charge you extra for). It also tasted freshly made 💗 The service was wonderful as well, very friendly and attentive. The stracciatella ice cream I had here was also possibly my favorite in all of Rotterdam 😍 I absolutely recommend this spot for a dining in experience 💯

Classic Italian pizza. Enjoyed a Picasso one with fresh toppings including artichoke and green pepper. The single portion gelato was a meal in itself.

Amazing pizza, really, the dough is thin and tasty. The staff is super friendly and the price is ok for the quality you get.

Pizza was just not very good. Dough was think and crispy, but had no char and no risen crust, it was more close to a flammkuchen then a pizza dough in my opinion. The other ingredients were just not good, the ham, both in taste and shape, looked most like a slice of toasti ham, and a similar story for cheese, sauce and salami; all pretty tasteless and forgettable. Service and atmosphere were great though.
