Good experience. Cheetah, lion, rhino, zebra, giraffe, ostrich, monkey and deers can be seen. General entry fee of R120 per head and an extra R230 if you want a guided safari. Riding your own car is allowed. Reach by 10:30 to see feeding a Cheetah. Good food and drinks. Have fun!

We LOVE visiting here. If you come first thing in the morning you are pretty much guaranteed an amazing animal watching experience. Also the decaf coffee at the cafe is very nice! 🦓☕️

In my opinion this wasn't worth it. The animals are beautiful and you spot them within 5 minutes of entering the gate, but then you go on a nightmare of a drive that is very stressful with a normal car. When asked at the gate is the route okay for a sedan I was told the roads are properly maintained and I will be able to access all the places easily. This was not the case as the drive is difficult to maneuver with a sedan as there is a lot of stones and rocks and loose sand in the road. You also don"t see any other animals except for the lions that is caged close to the picnic site.

A very nice park especially for those who do not have too much time and want to see a variety of animals. We spend ~2h in the park and saw zebras, giraffes, rhinos, cheetah, etc. If you have more time at hand we recommend one of the national park since it feels more natural. For example one can see houses and electric lines in the back of the photos, so it feels a bit more like a zoo.

Such a gem and so accessible to visitors from Port Elizabeth. Although small for a reserve, the rewards are great. The animals are generally easy to spot and not fearful of cars.

I have not seen my sick and elderly parents smile and wow as much as they did on Friday. It was THE highlight of our P.E. trip! Thank you to all the staff who operate the facility with such little reserves, it got to over 40°c that day and they nonetheless went out of their way with a smile! Those animals are well attended to and the Game Park is competently kept! We likely halted every 5 minutes to take photo's, we saw SO much from beginning to end !!! Thank you Rangers and gals who came all the way to get the automatic gate to function again!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful self-drive experience today. Very well kept, great visibility of animals, animals look healthy and there are so many of them. Well priced too.

Wonderful experience. Great to be able to land at the airport and within 20min you are at the game reserve. The staff is welcoming and friendly They have self drive and safari game drives. The accommodation (New 6 and 8 sleepers) are wonderful and fully furnished, each room having their own bathrooms Perfect for 6 adults and 2 kids. They kitchen is well kitted. Do note to bring all your own food, spices, coffee etc . All the appliances are there but you need to fully self cater. They have 2 BBQ or braai areas in door and outdoor and wonderful plunge pool. The tvs are massive and I worked remotely with no issues on the fast Fibre connection

What an amazing experience! My friend and I showed up late and miss the morning tour but ran into the owner who was so lovely she took us to see the rhinos in her vehicle. She had been living there for over 40 years and took care of the reserve with her parents. You could see the love in her eyes as she spoke about it. She gave us an experience we will never forget. We also did the monkey walk which was a peaceful little trail where we took beautiful photos of insects and plants. I highly recommend this beautiful magical place to everyone and their families. You can drive your own car, arrange an uber drive thru or you can join one of their tours.

What a fantastic place to visit! After the rain all the animals were out in the open looking for sunshine. The verity of animals we saw was just amazing, the all looked relaxed and well fed

Was a day trip. Loved the idea it is so close to PE city. They seem to scrap the roads everyday so I was able to do the game drive in my Audi. Saw more animals here than I did at a zoo. Highly recommended

A small game park with a laid-back atmosphere. Great viewing of animals, but I didn't see lions or cheetahs. Very pleasant.

We did the self drive. It was awesome and we saw a lot of animals including rescued lions, cheetah, rhino, giraffe and lots more.

Went on a game drive. Their were 6 of us. Our ranger was excellent and knew her story. Place clean and pleasant. Staff very friendly.

Quite small private reserve. The driving path however is adventurous and fun to drive nevertheless. Nice experience and easy to drive with a sedan. Most of the animals have space to run and live, although it is small in size. Neutral: the cage of the lions is smaller/ mid in size and more likely to a zoo. However it is perfectly explained why (rescued from a super tiny shelter in Ukraine, used to humans therefore not possible to bring back into wildlife). -1 star: the cage of the cheetah is super small and from my point of view let’s say brutal for that kind of animal. It would have been better to have no cheetah at all.

The tour guide was very good, she explained everything and gave us interesting facts and history about the animals they have. I recommend the place. Just get your refreshments because the tour is quite long.

The game park drive was a bit of a disappointment. Didn't see any cheetahs or rhinos. The road is absolutely awful, full of potholes and water. Drove mostly in first gear. Stopped at the cafe for light lunch, very friendly staff, tasty food.

Great experience. Being driven around the park and told about the animals was so much fun!

All animals visible in short time. Roads are challenging and directions not well indicated. Rather small but makes animal viewing easier

Phenomenal place to see some wild life and have a relaxing day out with the family

Very lovely small Game Reserve. The animals are used to Cars which allows close Observations and amazing sightings. We spent 2 Nights in Kragga Kamma and enjoyed a very interesting Game Drive where we learned a lot about the nature of These animals.

So this place is generally now being commercialized for vast lush green jungle views, but if u r coming here to visit for a day out to see animals you won't like it like the way u like Kruger. That's a different Game Ride Vibe

  • 1/5 Amy C. 1 year ago on Google
Not a great experience! Greeted with the RUDEST security guard at the gate. Then get to our cabin expecting a functional kitchen, only to get there to a kettle not working and the mini oven not working as well as dirty towels! Not worth the price !
