One of the best pubs to go to for a casual drink, the bartenders Samy and Rudy were on top of everything and extremely efficient. They’re really friendly and always make you feel welcome there. Don’t hesitate to drop by when you’re in the area, you definitely won’t regret it!!

We just went for a few cocktails, some were great, some just ok. The latest reviews were a bit too excited in my opinion, but worth a stop to grab a drink if it's not too crowded.

Best cocktail bar that I have been to abroad. Flavorful and well made. I cannot say enough about the value of each drink and the overall ambience.

In Paris I had found Bombardier, because I was trying to escape the magnitude of disappointments and bad luck from the city. Now in Bordeaux, after having a home-bringing, beautiful, true Scottish, experience of coursing through the city taking photographs in a downpour (dìle) and after having Google recommend me the pub next door, I found Rockwood a much more pleasant place avec une entrée plus excitante grâce a Romain. They have Islay. And a great IPA. I will be back - maybe even tomorrow 😁. And for sure I will be recommending Rockwood of Bordeaux the same way I recommend Bombardier of Paris to everyone who is about to visit France. In the end it's the people who make the place, so owners make sure to keep Romain et Rudy happy! 😄

Beautiful place with an amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable bartender!

Don't expect to get any sort of service unless you are a local. Extremely rude staff. Dirty tables, sticky with beer. Nobody cleaned a single one while we were there. Didn't realise till we sat down with drinks. No table service. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Lots of much better bars along the same road.

Great bar but poor service. I don't think I've ever seen a waiter that slow. Here you can wait 15mn for a drink even if you're alone at the bar.

Have no idea why, but today (06/10/23) at around 20:45h they stopped serving cocktails... I will not be coming back!
