👍👍 In one word, exceptional. I think the menu changes daily. In one word, exceptional. I think the menu changes daily. We had lunch - fish and asparagus tartar with an asparagus mousse and horseradish, followed by cod in bouillabaisse sauce and a terrine of grapefruit and orange with soft cream cheese. Perfect control of the bitter flavors, which is both unusual and difficult to do.

Excellent french food, with some inspiration from Japan. Lunch tasting menu for 26 euro includes a starter, main dish and a dessert. Highly recommend while in Bordeaux.

Excellent meal As very late notice of booking they had availability for the evening. The restaurant is very Minsk and small set of no more then 8 tables. Service was super friendly and efficient even being one man band Food was delicious light seasonal flavours, Though one Criticism the scallops were overdone as they weren’t as soft and tender as expected. But non the less the meal was enjoyable and the service was excellent

The octopus starter and beef (pastrami style) main where the stars of this meal and I would absolutely recommend those. However, the other dishes we had were okay but a bit bland. The cheese plate for dessert was also disappointing, with only 2 cheeses, bread lettuce. The waitress was excellent and was very knowledgeable about the menu (great recommendations on her favourite dishes).

On the Michelin guide (no stars), this restaurant serves some fantastic dishes, well executed and plated. Japanese chef, but don't expect much in terms of fusion in the cuisine, this is primarily French doors.

We had a wonderful evening here, the restaurant is run by Japanese couple and serve french cuisine. The food was extraordinary, fresh, and tasteful! Such a great creations, their menu changes seasonly and on whats available in the market. Good luck to the couples and I wish them the best.

Well presented. Nice service. But there was nothing standing out in the dishes.

great experience, it goes by tasting menus. all was very well presented and tasted incredible. the champagne and wine by the glass they have was very good. the staff is so kind the ambience is ideal as tables are spaced out and they can sit just about 20 customers so u enjoy ur meal in a quite environment. u pay for the quality. u dont get up hungry

Very nice modern haute-cuisine: visually appealing and tasty creations from the French cuisines with a hint of the chef’s Japanese heritage. One star reduction for the wine pairing. The first two courses are without pairing, it only starts with the 3rd course and for the price we had expected better wines.

Absolutely amazing dinner, highly recommend this place. Atmosphere is nice, good staff, but best part is food - every dish is excellent. Merci beaucoup!

My husband visited Akashi during our stay in Bordeaux and it was one of the best meals we had in France. The staff are very friendly, the wine pairings with the food are excellent, and everything is artfully prepared. We highly recommend this restaurant!

One server for entire restaurant (20 people). Menu listed Angus steak, but it was corn beef. Good wine, food was just ok. Not impressed.
