A little over the top… but if you want to experience colonial style, this seems to be the place.

Overpriced and bad service. No hostess or information about the meals/price, they simply sat us on a table and served a ton of food.. We are totally against leaving food left but that was food enough for at least 5 or 6 adults, so it was a very frustrating experience. When paying the bill we learned for the first time that it would 180 reais for both...

The place is cozy and warming. The food is delicious. The price is fair taking into account the quality of the service. The grape and strawberry jam are really tasty! P. S. : if you buy your tickets in their site on the Internet you will need to pay the service tax when you get there.

This place serves a ton of food, and every item is delicious. I couldn't eat for the rest of the day. The waiters were very nice, and helped us celebrate my son's first birthday by having the restaurant sing "Happy Birthday." I hope I get the opportunity to come back again.

Excellent ingredients result in really good food. Come hungry in order to make the best of the experience. The food is simple, but very tasty and varied. Highly recommended.

For those who don't know what a Café Colonial is, it's basically a brunch restaurant specialized in German food. Bela Vista really stands out, though. As someone who's been to Germany quite a few times, Bela Vista's brunch service is authentic German cuisine and they're actually really good at it. I introduced my husband to an apfelstrudel and he still talks about it two years later.

You must visit this café with an empty stomach to truly appreciate everything on offer. The wait staff all wore fun European-themed outfits and there was a mixture of gaucho music and traditional Italian/German folk music. The selection of food was fantastic, with salami, cheese, cakes, biscuits, pizzas, and lots of other traditional foods on offer. If you're passing through as a tourist, you must stop here.

Good food, a lot of food, but nothing so especial, looks like a breakfast in a good hotel. It's impossible to eat everything they put on table, so if you don't like the feel of waste food, isn't the better experience to you.
