My favorite place in Granada for sure. recommend for kids and adults, alone, with friends, or with family. Very fascinating place and going there is an amazing exploration journey. You get to test and touch most things with your own hands and learn about them by reading or listening, it has different parts (machines, safety, wild life, human body) my personal favorite is the human body section. This is truly more the worth your time, unimaginably fun and unique. I've visited twice and would love to go a 3rd time!

Enormous science park, very educational for all age groups, you can spend the whole day here with family friends. They have paid shows about birds and a biosphere with sea and land animals. A lot of different outdoor sections as well for kids to interact with installations , enjoy and learn

This is a fantastic place! My wife and I set out to go to the biodome and ended up spending another 2+ hours perusing other displays including the mariposerio, and the human body, energy transition, and wild animal exhibits. All are very well constructed. One could easily spend a whole day at the science park. If kids whose parents let them behave as if they're at a playground when they're actually at a museum bother you, you might consider going on a weekday.

Wonderful visit! The attractions were wonderful, with most of the attractions being written in English alongside Spanish. The staff were very helpful and gave advice on where to go first. The museum was definitely a FULL DAY activity (I spent 6 hrs at the museum). A couple things to keep in mind before coming: 1. The planetarium is only available in Spanish 2. The cost that is mentioned on google maps (€2.5) is only for the planetarium. The tickets for each area (museum, biodome, and planetarium) are all separate. To go to all sections it is €13.50 as of now 3. There are lockers that cost €1 but you get the coin back. Very helpful if your a tourist and your carrying a lot Overall, this place was a wonderful tourist spot and wasn’t to busy so it was a good experience!

This park contains a lot different kind of of exhibits, some are pop-ups, some always there. Robotics 2.0 was great, very interesting. Biopark is always a hit with the fish, sharks, birds and others. Recommend to visit and the price is very good.

Usually this is a very 'hands on' and interactive experience, at the moment there is no touching any surfaces. Interesting new exhibition

The best scientific exposition in Europe. All information in Spanish and English. In each hall there are consultants in yellow t-shirts who can answer any questions. Medicine and body structure, music and sound, wild word and etc and etc. Planetary and bio-house with small number of inhabitants, but may be enough for children. Separate playing room. Science shows.

This place will blow your mind The science park/museum of Granada was a great experience. Theirs plenty of exhibits and interactive experiments you can do that will keep you entertained and wanting to see and learn more. Robots, biology and medicine, physics, astronomy, and animals. Even if you are not too interested in science, the biodome offers a fun visual experience of seeing exotic animals up close. From sharks, jellyfish, alligators, snakes, monkeys and birds. Outside of the main museum and into the park offers more interactive thing you can do (like activities with water and about energy) and a few other buildings you can enter; for example, the planetarium or the observatory. The staff are nice and friendly and (the ones I have spoke with) were able to speak English to various degrees of fluency If you are planning a trip here, give yourself plenty of time if you want to experience the whole museum. I would say atleast 3+hrs as this place is massive with all the things to see, read, watch, and do in the exhibits and outside the building. But if you are making a quick stop to see only one exhibit, I would recommend the biodome as it offers a unique, cool, close up experience with exotic animals. Note: observation tower was closed during my visit (February 2022)

We enjoyed it very much. Easy to get to from the center of the city by bus (bus number 33). The bio domo was great as well and it cost a few extra euros but was worth it. Did get the chance to go to the observation tower but we'll make sure to do that next time we're there, it looked like fun!

Definitely a place worth visiting. Their bio domo or a quasi indoor zoo is the highlight. Liked the astronomy section a little and the animal Kingdom a bit. Then the accident and the AI section looks quite stretched. Don’t opt for planetarium coz it’s all in Spanish. English not available. Good if you are interested in animals and science. Else skip.

Definitely worth a visit. The museum was good, but I thought there would be more to see. The nature park was absolutely worth it as you get to walk amongst the animals and see them up close.

It's agreat idea to visit the museum, most festures are assembled with clhildren in mind. Is adapted to wheelchair use. The don't take resevations in avdavnced , only same-day and nex-day tickets. And the Biodomo exhibition can only be accesed after 6 pm. I hope they update their booking policy soon.

This is the best science museum I have been to. I absolutely LOVED it! I went a couple years ago and no other museum has beat it. It's a great museum for any age group, from kids to adults or elderly. They have lots of cool and interesting experiments with very good explanations in multiple languages (english, spanish and I believe one or two more). They explain what is happening in the experiments and why. I truly recommend this musuem to everyone!! It's amazing! :)

Cool biosphere, with fish and monkeys and other things. The rest of it was neat, but nothing special. The human body exhibit was well done, but the space one was a huge disappointment. Covid has affected a lot of the displays that would normally be interactive. They should alter the price to reflect the quality of experience.

We enjoyed our very interesting visit . It’s a pity that they do not give you a map setting out the different areas. It is a very large modern building with lots of exhibition halls which are not well signposted. It would be great to be able to select what you want to see from a map as it would save you time searching. We certainly would recommend visiting it. You can spend hours in it .

Absolutely fantastic! We went for a quick look whilst visiting Granada and spent most of the day there. So many things to do and lots to keep the kids entertained! The Biodrome costs 3€ extra and is without a doubt the best part! All manner of animals to see.

Because of COVID-19, a lot of the exhibitions such as the butterfly house and the plantariums were closed, which was disappointing; however, the few exhibitions that WERE open made it all worth it! The BioDome is a must-see, with three distinct levels. The cages are very spacious and have no roof, so some animals (like the birds and monkeys) can fly out and walk around. The aquatic parts are very clean, and if you're lucky, you'll get to see the feedings. The space exhibition has some great space exploration artifacts and a very good collection of geological items. Their gardens are well-made and nicely labelled. Everything was very informative and interesting, in both Spanish and English. A lot of the exhibitions I saw had audioguides for free downloading, so invest in a QR scanner if you don't have one on your phone. Wifi was free and good. Make sure to bring a water bottle, as the fountains in the buildings and outside are a bit awkward to use. All in all, worth the trip.

Absolutely fabulous space with so many engaging exhibits. It is surprising how fresh and modern the whole place feels yet it was constructed around 1995, I think (!?). We took children ages 10, 8 and 3 who are often troublesome to keep entertained in “museums”, however we stayed for about 5 hours and the price is reasonable for the amount on offer. The bio dome would cost at least as much as the combined ticket in other locations and countries. Very good value and a great day out, with plenty of outdoor space too. 🔭🧪🔬

Great for educational purposes. The WOW exhibition did give us a WOW factor. The space exhibition was also very interesting and comprehensive. However, the Food Prints exhibition was a letdown. Overall, it was a great experience to spend a couple of hours there.

What a great place to visit! We ended up there on a Sunday when the museum closes earlier and that's the only complaint we had - the time was not enough. I was impressed by the part dedicated to safety, definitely something I haven't seen anywhere else. It's a great place for children, but also for adults, you can wander for hours. The biodome is a beautiful thing to visit, even though it's small, it's basically a closed zoo.

Great place for adults and kids . Our 4 years old son really enjoyed. Perfect break from Granada historic walks and sightseeing. Easy 3-4 hours, plenty to do and see and touch :-) All descriptions are in spanish and english. Reasonable restaurant, great that there are lockers. However Biodomo is more for older children.

Biodome was great, but museum looked a little bit abandoned and some expositions felt out of date, maybe because of covid or off the season visit. Stuff was very helpful, but information in english was always in a small print and a few times we were confused where we should go next.

Granada’s Science Park is always a hit with the groups of teenagers that I take there. There’s something different for everyone, adults a like, and all the info is in Spanish and English making for a great bilingual experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I’d recommend it to families and groups :)

Fantastic- the biodome ( aquarium and zoo) is brilliant in its own right. Plus there are so many hands on exhibits and really interesting and curious stuff. Our teenage daughters loved it. Tickets are valid 24hrs- so we went 2 hrs one evening and 2 hrs the next morning- so much to do!!!!

  • 3/5 Matylda R. 1 year ago on Google
the bio dome is fantastic and worth the money. there is also enough interactive activities in the museum itself to pass about an hour on a rainy day, which is always good to have. my biggest gripe and what loses a few stars is the floorplan and the fact that almost none of the buildings or rooms are labelled, and there are no signs pointing you to where you need to go. i had to ask the staff for directions to the dome, the planetarium, and the exit - and the thing that looks like a planetarium when you walk outside isn't actually the planetarium, so make sure you leave enough time before your show starts to find the proper building. to summarise, the museum has a few truly great elements, but the overall impression is damaged by the lack of signs and convoluted layout

  • 5/5 Nickie H. 1 year ago on Google
Unexpectedly awesome experience. Took my 4 and 6 yr old to kill some time. We bought a ticket to the biodome and the museum. The Biodome is a one way mini zoo/aquarium that essentially takes you from the rivers and reefs to the mangroves and up into the rainforest. Its not huge but OMG they pack alot of stuff in. You are allocated a time and need to enter then(this got lost in translation and we almost missed our time slot) Perfect for smaller legs. There are jellyfish, sharks, seahorses, tropical fish, river fish, a sting ray, goldfish, turtles, frogs, snakes, salamanders, mud skippers, alligators, otters, a scorpion, toucans, marmosets and so many more animals to look at my son was in heaven. The Museum itself is also really cool with really well thought out and interactive exhibits. We saw one on how animal design is used my humans in things from engineering to wing-suits while the other we looked at went through the human body from primordial soup to cells to organ systems and medical treatments and diet. There were heaps of staff around to help explain and all the exhibits had english explanations for us to understand. Outside there was a bird of prey show which we skipped as well as some really cool interactive activities from giant cheese to water channels and optical illusions. You could easily spend a full day here to see everything. Well thought out, educational experience. How lucky are the people of Granada to have this. Wish I had taken more photos, I was too busy playing with all the exhibits!

Wonderful science museum. It’s huge and it has a biodomo and a planetarium. The only “buts” are the food, that is horrible, and the absence of more exhibitions.

  • 4/5 Peter M. 1 year ago on Google
We have been here many times are it's always a great experience. My only gripe is the canteen. It's always the same options and the food is always bland and overpriced. For such a cool a place it would be nice if they put some kind of effort into the restaurant and elevated it to the same standards as the rest of the place. Just been to the play room where they have kicked everyone out, at 1pm. The place was full. When I politely asked why, an idiot said 'beacause yes' to me, very rudely. Why would you possibly close a place full of happy kids on 1pm on a Sunday? And staff it with someone as rude as that guy?
