Nice place where to seat down and relax, tobacco shop, kebab, shops, corte inglés, bus stop and parking lot right next to it, you can walk around or head towards the river and gardens or get lost around the old town streets and plazas.

The extremely hot temperatures in Granada means shade is a must. This fountain is located in a shaded park that allows you to enjoy the weather and cool down. The added bonus is the lovely designed fountain that provides a spectacular water display. It is quite an energetic display that at the same time is soothing while resting. Great for pictures and videos for architectural lovers.

The fountain is very beautiful. Especially the location of the fountain. The art of the water falling is very beautiful. Recommended to visit.

Beautiful at night. Actually, much more than by day (look at the pictures). There is no need to go there specially, you'll pass by it while strolling the living centre of Granada.

The Fuente de las Batallas is a beautiful and monumental fountain, especially beautiful when illuminated at night. It is in the Baroque style, and is located near Puerta Real, in the heart of Granada. This stone fountain with robust pedestals, which intersect to form small mixtilinear arches, centers the long square. We do not have certain data on its origin of the emblematic Granada fountain. Molina Fajardo points out that it is a Mosaic Fountain that belonged to the Bethlehem convent of the barefoot Mercedarian friars.

Wonderful experience, sat by the fountain after a delicious meal at a restaurant on the edge of the plaza.

A lovely cafe in the centre of Granada. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, especially considering my three year old son was running amok, and spilt his chocolate milk all over the table. And the food was very tasty and surprisingly cheap for the centre of town, highly recommended.

It's nice to seat here when the weather isn't too cold. In festival days this place is quite crowded but you can still enjoy the performance. There are some trash bin around so it's pretty convenient to throw your trash away. So, please do :) P.s: the drivers here are quite nice. They'll let you cross the street first if you're walking (most of the time).

Great meeting spot. In December there are stalls where artisans sell their wares. It does get cold, since the it's a lot of wind.
