We took the shuttle to this Vista Point and then walked to Hobi Point. Very nice hike right along the cliff.

If you are ready for some family friendly hiking in the grand canyon south rim then this could be your starting point. We parked our car at Grand canyon visitor center and took the Village route bus (Blue bus) to the bright angel trailhead point. At the bright angel trailhead, you can ride the red bus to Monument creek vista point. Monument creek vista to the Abyss is a 1 mile trail and offers good views of the canyons. Restrooms : No Mobile coverage : No Note : there might be a longer wait when boarding the Hermits rest route (red) during peak season.

Another great vantage point from which to see the Grand Canyon. This (along with the Abyss) was one of the least crowded viewpoints along the Hermit's Rest route, which was a nice change of pace. The views aren't as nice here as some of the other viewpoints in the park, but they are still pretty incredible

What a great time we had there. Wonderful view and beautiful colors during sunset. It is a must visit when you are at Grand Canyon South Rim. Just park at the visitor center and enjoy some marvelous views all around the rim behind the visitor center. For sure we will come back to explore even more the canyons. Thanks National Park rangers for the great work done there. We had a ball there. So much fun and good memories to take home.

Walk the RED trail if you're up to it! The bus stops are staggered in increments that help you feel comfortable to move forward in sections...the views are breathtaking!

This is a beautiful point in Grand Canyon. Ride the free RED Shuttle from the Visitor's Center. Get off at the various points. Take a short walk to a beautiful overlook.
