Note:
if
you
want
to
the
live
historical
setting
of
the
town,
go
before
the
middle
of
August.
We
visited
at
the
end
of
August,
and
very
few
โworkersโ
were
there,
I
did
not
read
about
this
on
any
website
and
was
disappointed
as
I
was
expecting
to
see
a
living
historical
town.
We
were
told
they
are
open
until
mid
September
and
then
for
two
weekends
in
December.
Non
the
less,
we
had
a
nice
visit.
Houses
were
all
locked
up
and
a
lovely
gentleman
and
lady
would
unlock
them
and
let
us
look
around;
their
are
5
houses
on
property.
The
town
has
very
few
shops
open
and
functioning,
but
the
ones
that
were
open
and
staffed
were
very
informative.
This
is
a
self
tour
trip
with
a
lot
of
working
and
as
of
currently,
not
100%
ADA
friendly;
there
would
be
many
of
places
that
would
be
non
accessible.
All
buildings
have
been
moved
into
the
โtownโ
and
decorated
to
the
era.
This
was
an
amazing
trip,
but
again
would
have
loved
to
been
there
for
the
living
town.
Side
note:
in
order
to
get
into
Railroad
Town,
you
must
purchase
a
ticket
the
Stuhr
Museum
as
this
is
part
of
the
museum.
Itโs
free
to
go
into
the
town
once
youโve
bought
a
ticket
to
the
museum.
