2nd visit to town and 2nd time at the pub. Each time I enjoy my food and the atmosphere. This trip my wife had Guinness beef stew which she really enjoyed and I had the fish and chips. Unlike some places, their fish has lighter batter which I especially liked. I’d be remise to not mention the awesome and delicious beer selection. Kilt lifter brew was so good I couldn’t get a picture of a full glass 😂

We were looking for lunch and this place stood out to us! Guinness Stew and a Call Me Old Fashioned while we get some work done and calls made led us to stay an overnight here in Grand Junction. The only beer dark like our hearts on tap was Guinness - that was a bummer! But their bar and their service were outstanding. We stumbled upon their happy hour time - a happy accident. The kids loved the Mac and Cheese and cheese burger.

Was driving through town, saw this place and decided to give it a try. I am no Irish connoisseur, but I do know what tastes good. I wasn't overly impressed by this place. The Corned Beef was great, but the rest of the plate was lacking. The carrots looked like the nibbles you buy at the grocery store, there wasn't much cabbage, but the potatoes were tasty. I tasted the Guinness Stew and nearly spit it out. Not sure if it just wasn't pairing with my drink, or if they didn't quite finish their roux before adding the rest of the ingredients, but it tasted like floury quagmire to me. The beer selection was okay, but it would have been nice to see some more motherland brews vs. The ones you can buy anywhere. So, all in all, not trying to down the place, but it didn't really do much for me. Maybe they are better for burgers or other dishes???

Food was very different than anything else I've had in Grand Junction. It was absolutely delicious. Try the Irish eggrolls!!! This place is very busy, and we waited for 45 minutes to be seated, so I recommend making a reservation.

A great Irish/English themed bar and restaurant. Fish and Chips and Fish sandwich were excellent! Staff were friendly for a busy wee spot.

The Irish Potato Skins are excellent!! They are full of great flavor and prepared well. I wanted to lick the plate! 😂 My friend had the Pot-O-Gold Potato soup which she said was as good as homemade. I will try it next time. I had the Guinness Stew and it was okay. It has the potential for great flavor. I found it to be too sweet and the vegetables were on the mushy side. Service was excellent! Great location because it is fun to be on Main Street. It's such a charming and beautiful part of this area. It's a treat to spend time there, especially when you're dining on delicious food and tasty beer with a great friend!

Great spot downtown to walk to and grab a beer and good Irish food. Fried pickles and egg rolls are excellent apps.

Nice place with great service, service was quick and friendly. The sausage roll appetizer was interesting and delicious, the soup was also very good. We had the fish and chips and the fish was very good, the chips were a bit above average. The pie I thought was a bit bland and the peas seemed to be of the canned variety. The generous happy hour was a nice surprise too.

The food and service were top notch, and the atmosphere was like an old pub, which I loved. We tried two pot pies and the Guinness stew and they were fantastic! The crust was light and flaky, and the veggies and meat were fresh and perfectly cooked, nothing mushy. Overall recommendation is that you go if you're looking for a nice pub experience.

This is a cool pub in the Old Town area of Grand junction. There's lots of space and even an assembly room in the back and a piano up front. The food is good and the beer menu is good too.

We came in for an anniversary dinner. We always get the Corn beef egg rolls and they were awesome. My old fashioned was perfect and my wife had a very tasty bloody Mary. It was a great start to the meal. The main course didn't let us down. They were everything that I hoped for. Thank you for a great experience.

The Goat and Clover is one of my husband and I's favorite places to eat. We love the atmosphere, the service, and the food is superb! We went there for lunch for my husband's 30th birthday and the complimentary slice of cake they brought him was HUGE and tasted like if a snickers bar was turned into a cake. Our boys also really enjoy the kids menu! Some places serve the kids "kraft" mac and cheese but here they get a large serving of homemade. I highly recommend going here for lunch when it's a little less busy! *Here again for dinner! Still awesome. The Irish coffee is delicious, the housemate gaff whipped cream is so good.

Came here for dinner on a recommendation. Fish and chips were nice, Caesar salad ok, sausage rolls weird. Our server was not up to it. Poor communication and slow. One of the other servers (lady with green hair) ended up helping out. She was great. Not really that authentic and they need to learn how to pour Guinness.

Our server was named Tangerine, and she was awesome! My dinner Companion has a pretty severe allergy to onions and garlic, and these fine people at this wonderful establishment went over all of the menu options she asked about and were able to come up with a dish that they already served that they could leave those items off of, and and we cannot say enough about how we appreciate that. That being said, our meal with fantastic! Drink were great too. Wonderfully place

I love this place! The food is so delicious. Best hamburgers in town. The Sunday pot roast is my favorite comfort food. Also, they have an amazing brunch on the weekends. The service is always wonderful and so attentive. The prices are fair and the happy hour drink specials are the best in Grand Junction. We love to reserve the party room for special occasions with family and friends. Thank you to the fantastic staff at The Goat and Clover! You keep us coming back!
