This place has been a favorite of mine for years! Unfortunately I don't live very close anymore. Yesterday I knew I was going to be in the area so I made my visit a must! As usual, they did not disappoint! The service was great as always and my order was ready when promised. Their business seems to be flourishing amongst the pandemic. They do a great job promoting appropriate safety precautions. I had to make a few stops on the way home so my food sat for almost an hour before I had a chance to eat it. When I tell you that my food was STILL HOT and tasted just as fresh as I'm sure it had an hour earlier, I am not exaggerating! The presentation of my meal was pristine and the food was beyond delicious! To add, their price's cannot be beat! Do yourselves a favor and eat here!

husband is a regular here. today he ordered the tofu with broccoli and side of white rice. he asked the lady behind the counter who took his order if the whole meal is fully vegan, including sauces used on tofu. she stated yes it is. i also tried it today and it was very good. nice vegan chinese option locally.

This is the ONLY Chinese take out place we get food from, usually the food is good but the last couple time they were mid, I really think it depends who is cooking. Today we got the shrimp with veggies. Veggies consists of broccoli, pepper, carrots and snap peas. Very disappointed with this order only got 4 shrimp. I order shrimp with veggies not veggies with shrimp. My husband got boneless spare ribs with extra meat. Food looks and taste good, rice was cooked perfectly. Just wish it was more shrimp .

What this location lacks in curbside appeal, it makes up for in fast service and great, quality food. As of September 1st, 2020, the restaurant is not offering dine-in, and has redesigned the entrance to responsibly cater to contactless take-out. Placing an order at the door, you should get your food in about 10 minutes, or you could simply call ahead and save some time. Will definitely visit this location again and recommend it to others!

Best in town! Love the crispy egg rolls, sechuan chicken, general tso, orange chicken, beef and veggies, and hunan chicken. I’ve never been disappointed! You also get about 2-3 meals out of each combo dinner!

The crab Rangoon, delicious fantastic. The rest, I ate half cuz I was hungry but it wasn't flavorful. I have to take my leftovers home and recook them with sauce and spices to make them have actually taste

Large portions of quality ingredients at a great price. I drive a little farther as places in east town are low quality (Red bowl Gen Tso blows and altho Ginza is great it is a little pricy.) China City has been consistent for me 10 year running.

Been going here for years always great and fresh food! Tried something new today, it was amazing! Garlic chicken and a shrimp egg roll.

Great Variety on THIS Menu (with many Basic Choices) BUT The Food IS FRESH AND ON TIME For Pick Up ! The Egg Drop Soup comes with noodles But Buy an Extra Bag ! Egg Rolls are BIG . VEGESTABLES NOT OLD - RICE AND MEAT NOT DRY ! I Def Recommend !

Don't let it fool you, looks like a dump when you walk in but some outstanding food. Great egg rolls and fried rice.

Sorry to say the chicken was over cooked. The lady was nice but it wasn't exactly good food.

The fried rice has no eggs onions or anything ,something not right about it. Main dish was good tho.

THE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN GR! I’ll never go anywhere else for Chinese food that’s fast and fresh. They were closed for a Monday and I really wanted Chinese so I went down the road. Never again!!! I’ll wait for Tuesday to roll around when I get to head to China City! It’s fresh, authentic, delicious, and decently priced. They never fail to amazing me. 5/5 stars for sure!!

Location was Ok The wait was about 20-25 When you order from Inside on a Sunday Food was Drrryyyy Chicken Damn Near Chocked me Rice was Dry gave out a Nice Portion in General The General Tso Chicken was Not generous at All 😩

Worst place to get take out. They don't take your order right and are very disrespectful when you call them to tell them. Told me to bring my food back and they would do a refund and them as we were almost were back there they call and tell us they can't refund us. Bs customer service and food never cooked right or over cooked. Enough I'm taking my business else where

Food is absolutely great ! But the service is absolutely dis-respectful. We as Humans can not get mad at customers if they ask You again What u said Especially if a strong accent is present! And you still don’t comprehend my order! Today I walked in only referring to the lunch special it was told to me that it ended but it was also added on my order total ! Considering she didn’t understand what I was asking for While I’m being patient…ending with a “ didn’t you hear me” I did I just didn’t make out what you said ! This type of energy doesn’t need to be put in our food ! If you don’t want to serve us ! Shut down !

Great Chinese. All the appetizers are awesome and the meals are tasty. We’ve had several dishes from here, all really good.

China City has become a Christmas tradition for me. I had the fried rice and sesame chicken and it was great! Would recommend for Chinese food in Grand Rapids
