Taqueria has always been a great part of the Flores family of restaurants and my personal favorite for a long time. Now that they are finally open again I encourage you to visit and enjoy their new menu. It is a refined yet thorough selection ranging from ceviche appetizer to fajitas or surf and turf with lobster or a tomahawk steak. If you want the classics they still have those, only refined and cleaner made with thought and care They also have several drink specials as well as a full bar to serve your needs. Everyone I have met here has been welcoming, friendly and personable and I enjoy their company. The ambiance is nice especially in the bar that is separate from the dining room. I have been coming here regularly for years and always look forward to coming back.

Huge portions of delicious food. This place was closed for a while post-Covid, but was reopened recently. Beautiful decor and design and creamy elevated guacamole. We tried the shrimp tacos and the steak fajitas. Both were perfect, but were way too much for us to eat, so we had to take them home.

Small, quiet, and very comfortable. This little restaurant is elegant enough for a special date or to impress a visitor, and the food is served as a culinary presentation. But under all of the fancy looks, you will find delicious, comfort food perfectly prepared and spicy enough to enjoy. Have a guava margarita while you are there they make some good ones!

This place was beautiful from the moment you walk in. Very clean and friendly staff. The food was very delicious. We ordered an Empanada de carne molida appetizer. The flakiness and meat were very tasty. As the entre we ordered the Molcajete. It came with chicken, steak, queso fresco, 3 bacon wrapped shrimp, nopales and grilled onions. The chicken was seasoned well and wasn't over cooked. Same thing with the steak. I was very impressed with how delicious everything was.

Absolutely amazing decor enjoyed all all the beautiful lights and decorations just amazing! Always thought it was more like a bar that serves food from the outside appearance but when you enter it is a show cased restaurant absolutely beautiful! Our waiter was fantastic we only got a nacho but he on us six times! The nacho was very good. And they have the most extensive drink menu everything sounded fantastic!

The decor for Grant's Pass its nicely done even tho its owned by the same family. The food actually here was really good. The staff was nice and checked on us often which I like. The drinks are a bit sweet tasting for my liking. The place is actually very nice.

This place never disappoints! Staff is super friendly and attentive, and the cooks are soooo talented. The food is AMAZING and the presentation is always beautiful. The Mexican Sushi is my absolute favorite, but they also have the best Carne Asada around. We also get the margarita flights every time we come!

This is my Momโ€™s favorite Mexican food in Southern Oregon and it is quickly becoming mine as well. Everything Iโ€™ve ordered here in the past two years (Iโ€™m a recent arrival to the area, long time visitor short time resident) has been delicious and well plated. I highly recommend the Chile Colorado, not many places in town serve Chile Colorado and very few do it well, Taqueria Mexico does it the best here in Grants Pass! The restaurant is decorated in a comfortable and colorful manner with a beautifully colorful chandelier- see photos- as the centerpiece of the main dining room. The womenโ€™s restroom is decorated in the cutest way. The bar is lovely with friendly bartenders and good seating. I perfect place to meet with friends before heading next door to the theater for a show, literally next door. Canโ€™t beat that for a rendezvous spot.

First time going to sit down for dinner here. Taqueria won't disappoint. Right off the bat, the service is fun, friendly, and genuine. Not that pretend to be nice Menasha of a paycheck feeling. The server was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere would probably be a 4, but the surprisingly cleanness of everything bumped it to a 5 for me. If a business puts time into maintaining cleanliness, it's a good sign as to how they value integrity, in my opinion. The food... they killed it, and it came out quickly. I had the Pollo de creama, while I could have had just a TAD more chicken, the cream - was - incredible. I'm not sure what is different about the beans and rice, but even the sides stand out. My partner had camaron al mojo de aho, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. We ended up dipping her shrimp in the cream from my meal and just sat there smiling. To finish the date, we also got some dessert. My partner got cheesecake with berry syrup, and it was better than I expected from a Mexican restaurant. I got, and I very highly recommend, the flan. I am from Southern OK, and worked a lot of construction with my Hispanic friends who would cook food me close to daily. The flan, and I hate to say it, was better than my friends. There's a wonderful lady that works at (possibly owner? I'm not sure) Taquera that makes it from home. I will say, this was not a cheap meal by any means, but it was definitely worth it. Also for note, be prepared to have to look for parking unless you come at odd hours. (As with anything just about in GP)

Had a pretty great service and food here! I was surprised at how upscae the resteraunt was..its a biiit spendy but it IS very good food with a focus on presentation. Definitely more than i expected for what looks like a sort of hole in the wall place from the outside. Atmosphere was great accept the music. For some reason they were playing a bunch of pop music or modern hits or something? Very strange choice for a place thats setting an atmosphere of high end mexican food. I had the chicken mole and and very berry margarita. The mole sauce was top notch with a focus more on the cinnamon side rather than peanutbutter side ive had some mole present with. My only complaint was you didnt really get much actual chicken for the steep price of about 24 bucks. I got maybe 1/2 a chicken breast worth of chicken? The rice it came with was white? Which ive never seen from a mexican resteraunt, but it was VERY well cooked and well flavored! It had a slight nacho cheese flavor to it somehow? Over all ide recommend it as a great high end mexican resteraunt to spend a special occasion or a date!

The food is so high quality, fresh, and well prepared and beautifully presented. Iโ€™ve had Mexican food up and down California and Arizona and I can say with confidence this is the best Mexican food Iโ€™ve ever had. Most place cover lower quality ingredients with tons of cheese to mask where itโ€™s lacking. This place bring the flavor. Beautiful atmosphere and dรฉcor. Good service. Patient with children. A donโ€™t miss in GP.

Taqueria Mexico is fantastic. They're the more upscale of the Flores restaurants and do a fantastic job with the food, service and atmosphere.

One of the better Mexican restaurants in Grants Pass. They are all pretty much the same Americanized Mexican food but Taqueria Mexico has really great food presentation as well as more imaginative dishes. Cocktails are creative and the food was tasty and fresh. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Environment felt even a little more upscale than some of the other Mexican restaurants. Will definitely come back here.

I have been coming to Taqueria Mexico for a number of years, but this was the first time I had been there since they changed their menu. I have always had a good experience there, but this is NOT your typical Mexican restaurant anymore! The food presentation was very appealing, and the meal was delicious! The price is slightly higher than they were before, but we'll worth it. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Beautiful restaurant & pleasant ambiance! The margaritas are $14, which was a bit of a shock. The food was beautifully presented but quite average. The wait staff was great. For the two of us it cost $100 for food & 2 drinks including tip.
