Shockingly good for a chain. Seriously incredible fish and cooked to perfection. Both dishes were amazing but I definitely recommend the Chilean Sea Bass. The prices are pretty expensive overall for a chain so expect that, but it's well worth the venture. The servings are large and you won't feel ripped off like at so many other restaurants.

If you're looking for a great seafood restaurant, Poppadauex Seafood Kitchen is definitely worth checking out! I recently visited this establishment for lunch with a group of friends, and I have to say, we were all very impressed. Right from the moment we walked in, we were treated with excellent service. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and we were seated quickly. I decided to order the Mississippi Catfish & Shrimp Etouffee, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot-on, with just the right amount of spice to give it a little kick. The catfish and shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the portion size was just right. One thing that really stood out to me was the quality of the service. Our waiter was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great, with a nice, cozy feel that made it a comfortable place to enjoy our meal. Overall, I would highly recommend Poppadauex Seafood Kitchen to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was just right. Whether you're a seafood lover or just looking for a great place to have lunch with friends, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out!

The place was cool. There were lots of sea food options. I had the fillet mignon however wasn't sure what to expect with it to be smothered and added a lobster as an after thought. But it was a vibe

Date night for me and the hubs was pricey for what we got. For $150, we shared an entree, two small appetizers, and each had 1 drink. The drinks were good and our entree was generous and well cooked. The atmosphere was manic and loud enough that we couldn’t hold a decent conversation. All in all, I’m not surprised but a bit disappointed overall with the experience. This is what you can expect dinner on Sat afternoon to look like 🤷🏻‍♀️

Man oh man, this one was a treat. We had about a 30 minute wait, but we were seated in 15 minutes. Staff was super friendly, and were all smiles. We ordered the mozzarella cheese balls for an appetizer, which were awesome. They were so soft and delicious. The shrimp brochette was the best I've ever had, period. Packed full of flavor, and came out fresh! My wife ordered a seafood pasta of some kind, and she was also very pleased. My son ordered the lunch fried shrimp, and he loved them so much he couldn't decide whether to eat them all there or save them for later (he ended up saving them and eating them later, which is against his nature). Our waitress was awesome, and she always made sure our drinks were full and our table was clean! Not enough good things for me to say about this place!

One of my favorite seafood spots in the metroplex. First time at this specific location and they did not disappoint. Really enjoyed the outdoor bar and waiting area. The outside heaters were on which made it really comfortable. Food was delicious. The seafood pasta is my favorite.

We were visiting Grapevine for a conference and stopped in to grab mostly the marinated crab claws with dirty rice — they’re so good they literally melt in your mouth. The sauce compliments the rice so well I could eat it every day! My husband had the Chilean sea bass. It was definitely a light, flaky fish he was a super fan of the lemon butter sauce. But it wasn’t worth changing to a 4-star. I always love to get Pappa’s Greek salad as well - I always opt for blackened chicken which is perfect with the salad. Our waitress was amazing she grew up in Jersey and had recently moved to the area. She’s exceptional wish we could remember her name.

The food and service were amazing. Victoria took great care of us. My husband got the Salmon Alexander and I got the Jumbo Shrimp Brochette with green beans with shivered almonds instead of dirty rice. It was sooooooo good! He then got the Creme Brule and I got the Turtle Fudge Brownie with Häagen-Dazs Ice cream. Amazing!

As usual the service, ambiance and food is always on point! I got fried shrimp, fries and broccoli and sat at the bar. Friendly convos and you could see the TV from most seats. Batter on the shrimp was butter-garlicky with parsley and black pepper. Broccolini had crushed red pepper. Very delicious as usual!

Celebrated mom's birthday. Called ahead and made reservations for a large party, no problem. Didn't take long to seat us all when we arrived. Kids had fun with kid menus, but drinks are not included. Our server, Rene was professional, helpful and nice. Birthday mom was happy and treated to dessert which was special. Everyone enjoyed the food and service which was pretty fast for a large party.

A little bit pricey but well worth the quality. They give you 3 softshell crabs with fries. The calamari was abundant and includes other fried goodies

I really enjoyed my meal, or should I say feast!?! I had a cup the Crab Gumbo which is topped with shrimp. It had a nice spice to it, but not too spicy. Next was the Mississippi Catfish Opelousas - Blackened catfish, oysters, shrimp, jumbo lump crab, lemon garlic butter sauce, dirty rice. Holy shoot, it was enough that I could've shared it and still been full! Delicious!!!

Even on a Sunday afternoon we were immediately sat with no reservations. Clean, hospitable and knowledgeable staff. Food was delicious and the drinks were strong just how I like them!

We’ve tried the ones at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport terminal a number of times but we decided to try the grapevine location recently as we were in this area. There was a little bit of wait but it was definitely worth it. Service was amazing and the food was so good. We tried a few of their menu items, which were all mouthwatering and delicious. The food did not disappoint as expected. The ambiance there was incredible. We truly enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend.

Love this location. Food is always perfect and there is rarely a wait. Best steak we ever had. Mixed drinks are delicious. The chicken was very tender and juicy.

Great food when it finally arrived. They were quite packed so I understand the delays in service. Some of the food wasn't seasoned too well. My meal was quite good but a few others at the table were less impressed with their servings considering the price. I will say the corn grits are amazing.

I’m going to keep this short and simple. The food is good but not excellent in my opinion. I very much liked the crawfish etouffée and the oysters. The grilled chicken on the cesar salad was wayyyyyy over cooked. Everything else was ok. I appreciate good service and thats what I got at this establishment.

Overall the experience food and service are really nice. The consistency is not balanced. Each dish is made fresh, and so we have had consistent issues with the food in the same dish being hot. It is usually sent back, but with the price point being high, I would expect better.

Great crowded place. We (of course!) came in at peak time but still managed to get table within 15 min! 👏 Good local beers. Food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

The drinks are always A1, as well as the food. We like this location because of the bar team. Thanks again and we will see you on a few weeks.

The shrimp pictured had less taste than the butter I piled them in for this picture. I've never had a bad experience at Pappadeux's before today, but I'll avoid this location ongoing. Wife's food order was changed by the manager since the crab cake wasn't available after waiting an hour. Then my food arrived 15 minutes after I flagged our server down. We were there 1:45 and nobody cared or said anything as we sat there waiting. It wasn't busy, but just poor everything.

Great food and great service. My server was really nice. The kitchen was accommodating when I wanted something from the lunch menu. I love seafood/Cajun food. This place hits the spot for sure.

I was here recently for dinner and the service was terrible!!! I sat at the bar because there was a long wait for a table (which I was happy to do). It took about 45 minutes for my food to come out. The flavor was good. However, my food was cold. The bar tender took the silverware and lemon out of it and sent it back to the kitchen for them to reheat it. When she brought it back a few minutes later, I ended up waiting another 5 minutes to get silverware from her, and I also asked for another lemon to squeeze over the top of my seafood, which she never gave to me. It was only lukewarm when she brought it back, but I just refused to send it back again for safety reasons. As I'm eating my meal, I see that everyone around me received a loaf of bread with their dinner or beforehand, but I was never brought bread. I then asked for bread to go with my meal. There was an older couple next to me that kept trying to get the bartender's attention in order to get their check, and she walked by them several times to no avail. It was so bad that a patron sitting on the other side of me called the bartender several times in order to help get the couples check for them. The environment at the bar was not warm nor welcoming at all! I've been to another location before and loved the food and service. That is what brought me to try it in a different city. I was shocked that the service was this bad. I ended up boxing it up and warming the food up in my hotel room that night. Although the interior and exterior was appealing and the food was flavorful, I was unfortunately disappointed with my experience at this location.

This location has always been fantastic. The service is AMAZING!!! I know this is a chain restaurant but I went in today for lunch and got oysters. I got a chopped salad to-go for dinner. I wanted blackened chicken instead of fried. When I got to my hotel, as you can see, I had a crap top of lettuce but 1/4 of an avocado and 3 supposed chicken strips but looked more like nuggets to me. $22 and barely anything of substance (not to mention the 1&1/2 cup of dressing). Usually dine in with the blackened I get at least 6 actual strips, but this truly was just taking advantage of a to-go order 🙄

Had my kids complaining about eating at a seafood restaurant. Those complaints were quickly silenced when the food arrived. You know it’s good when no one is talking when the food arrives. The waiter said that salmon is rarely prepared correctly however that their restaurant does it just right. He set a high bar and delivered. It was great and I don’t usually like eating salmon. If you go, try the Crispy Atlantic Salmon with Scallops.
