The oldest pub in Gravesend. I've been here many times over the years, and today for Sunday Roast. 3 of us had beef and 1 chicken, all of which come with loads of Veg and roast potatoes and plenty of gravy. The pub has a daily menu as well and I've enjoyed all of the food I've had here over the years. The pub itself has great service, and right on the river which makes it a very busy place on those nicer days to come. You will see lots of cyclists and walkers pop in, a great mix of people. They have music regularly also. The floor in the main part of the pub might make you feel you've had a couple more drinks than you actually have 😄.

Very nice old cosy pub! Food was fantastic! Pie of the day is definitely worth a go! Mind out for the wonky floors and low door frames! Lots of character here.

Omg so quaint and old school, feels really homey, welcoming and accommodating staff, amazing British menu (we literally could not choose) and portion sizes we're huuuge! We are going back for sure! Also we requested a window seat looking out over the thames and we actually got one (which rarely happens in places when you request) so massive kudos for that too! Thanks for a lovely chill birthday evening! 🎂

I absolutely love this pub really friendly staff. Great food, good quality traditional food on offer and tasty small boards such the honey maple syrup and chicken and chorizo, wide selection of beers incl local beers. Always a popular choice great views of the river.

Great pub next to the river Thames. A good selection of beers. A great place to meet up with friends for a few beers. We didn't eat here but the food that was being brought out looked and smelled amazing.

Excellent Fish & Chips, Steak Gammon was very delicious, pot roast was great! Our server was very friendly and polite. We throughly enjoyed the ambiance of this place very much! Would like to come here again before we leave the UK! ***** 2nd Visit Review ***** My wife and I had decided to come to three daws to let our girls experience what we had experienced 2 weeks prior. The ladies at the bar ignored us for over 25 minutes while we waited with three hungry girls. My wife asked how long the wait would be and one of the ladies responded rudely “how should I know. I can’t tell anyone to leave!” Most restaurants can give you an expected wait time so you can stay or go by… this one apparently does not! My daughter and I checked to see if there were any tables available and there was, but it needed to be cleaned off. So I pointed it out to one of the ladies there and she told me that she would have it cleaned in five minutes. So I was assuming that we would be seated very shortly. We had stood there for about 30 more minutes waiting for a reply and I asked the same lady if the table was ready for us to sit down and she told me that she would have to check for reservations first. My youngest daughter couldn’t help it but started crying because she was so hungry and had waited this long and the lady looked at her then at my wife and I and said in a mean voice, “We’re all booked up!” So my 5 star review for this place has gone down to a 1 star review because the service was so horrible our last time! I doubt that I will go back!!

What an amazing place! Fantastic food, stunning views, wonderful service. Loads of outdoor seating where you can relax and watch boats and big ships go by. I fell in love with the place as soon as I walked in.

Held my 95 year old Father’s wake here, overlooking the Thames upon which he had worked since the age of 14. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The buffet laid on by them was fantastic. Excellent quality food, well presented with plenty of choice. Can highly recommend.

Very friendly old style Pub and Restaurant, attentive and helpful staff.Has views overlooking the River Thames and Tilbury, right next to the Ferry that still operates six days a week.Easy to find at the lower end of Gravesend High Street ,also only about 2'minutrs minutes walk from the indoor market.Well worth a visit.

Me and my partner had our baby shower here, to which the whole team were amazing! They had gone above and beyond for the day as they had gone out of their way to ensure they had cake stands, tea cups and pots for afternoon tea. The food was amazing and was all freshly made. We had 24 very happy guests and would recommend this venue highly, with a big shout out to Danny and Liv!

We had a table for seven which was laid out with plenty of room for feet and elbows. The Sunday roast was cooked to perfection and presented to a high quality standard. My family and me would like to thank all of the staff who were very professional and we'll presented. Special thanks to the landlord who not only made us very welcome, but he also made sure we were well settled and most importantly, made us aware of the choices of ice cream. Thank you for making this a special day.

Nice little pub with an excellent roast dinner, very generous portions. The restaurant was full (we didn’t book) but the waitress who was very helpful allowed us to eat in the bar area. Fast service and friendly. Recommend a stop if you are in the area.

Lovely place, right on the river. Got here via the passenger ferry from Tilbury. Great atmosphere, efficient service and friendly staff, loved the food, we will go back and recommend it here.

Loved The Three Daws today. It's said to be one of the oldest pubs in Kent and there is certainly plenty to read about on it's walls. It is a pub that feels good when you walk into it, there is a good choice of ale and my friends all complimented the G&T's they had. We even worked out how to play bar billiards on their table with some advice from the locals. Food looked fabulous, we will be returning soon to try it out. This is is pub to enjoy and waste time in

Enormous roast beef luncheon on a Saturday great service and views of the River. Unfortunately our table needs bit of a sand down, varnish peeling off, only because it's been cleaned so frequently with aggressive antibacterial spray .otherwise fabulous town pub 👌

I love this pub but £15 for a frozen burger and chips from frozen didn't feel great. Staff didn't come to check on us. I'll go back, I do love the pub but that was one miss after several enjoyable meals there.

Used to eat here for special occasions, Christmas, birthdays etc. and were always very happy with the service and food. Over the last couple of years the food and service has been in decline. Recently we booked for Christmas dinner but a family issue meant we had to cancel. I gave Three Daws a week's notice but they would not refund my deposit - company policy. Our company policy is never to revisit pubs/restaurants that offer poor food and service.
