Rude employees. I was doing a large instacart order at check out the old hag cashier was so rude and giving attitude , dirty looks and was throwing all the items. I waited there because I had 4 cans of sparking water for her to scan and she yelled at me to move the cart down. She didn’t need to do that. When I got ready to pay she said “I need to see your ID with the credit card you are about to use.” I said this is an instacart card so it doesn’t have my name and still asked for it. I don’t understand why she needed to see my ID. I’ve never had to show my ID at check out when I do instacart orders. I honestly felt racially profiled. I was disgusted and upset when I left. The cashier name is Jennie.

If I could rate 0 I would EXTREMELY RUDE SERVICE TODAY . Believe name was “ Tim” very rude clapped at me … very rude responses to my simple questions. I am a Shipt shopper and every jewels I’ve been to brought groceries to the car . Today I went like usual to call and GOT AN EXTREMELY RUDE RESPONSE all because I simply didn’t know their way of Shipt orders I have no problem going inside or to the side to get it I just did my normal route and was treated with ALL OF DISRESPECT I WILL NEVER GO BACK TERRIBLE JOB . NO ONE SHOULD TALK TO PEOPLE THE WAY I WAS TALKED TO SIMPLE .

I love my local Gurnee Jewel 😁 Like everything else I've been checking the raising of prices 😥😣 The bakery items are truly delicious 😋 The store is always clean and organized 🧹🧽🛒 Lately I have noticed that the customer service employees are in need of a vacation ✈ They can be a bit at ease with the hard working baggers. They are trying really hard to do their job 😟 I always pay a compliment to the Cart catcher for all that they do 🛒 They are working short staffed and they need patience from the customer's big time 🍌🍓🥐🥯🧀🥓🥩🍱🍨🍾 Thank You For Your Service 🥇 This is for the Huntclub Rd and Grand Avenue Store 🏫

It hurts when I say “have a nice day, take care!” to the woman at the self checkout and she looks back at me with her fluoride stare… takes a deep breath… and just says “ok”… terrible customer service, this is why I go to the one in Round Lake Beach

The store was very clean and well stocked. Plenty of room to maneuver my shopping in the wide aisles. My cashier and the person at the service desk were very friendly.

DO NOT DO STORE PICK UP OR DELIVERY FROM THIS LOCATION. This is the third time I’ve received moldy and inedible produce doing a store pickup. I’ve shopped at this location for years but the pickup/delivery service is getting so poor. The shoppers pick the most damaged and inedible items and it’s so disappointing. I’ve submitted pics of my same day pick up moldy bread, discolored/moldy chicken breasts, and lettuce. Luckily they refund me but I do not have time to run to the grocery store 2 times in a day bc my food is bad quality. Shop in store, it’s pretty clean, I will give them that.

It's a nice and friendly store. Very clean too. I just get frustrated when prices don't ring up as advertised. Customer service is very slow. But they do their best

I love this Jewel. They sell Boars Head at the deli and have decent fresh fruit and veggies. Also has extremely friendly employees!

I went to this jewel osco to pick up a door dash order. When i got to the check out counter the Cashier Elizabeth did not even greet me, no hello, no hi, NO NOTHING. So i just stared at her to see if that would make her speak, she still didnt speak and gave me the dirtest look smh. When she saw me finally writing her name down she said something lol. I cant believe how i was treated, i think it was because of the color of my skin

Today was the last time I will shop here for my family or my business. The produce is ALWAYS rotten or out of stock. Lettuce looks terrible every single week. The baked potatoes are always bare or non existing. When you ask a produce clerk to check the back it's like they were being tortured. Will go out of my way from now on to frequent the Gurnee location where it seems they don't have these issues. This has been ongoing for a year management must not care.

I’ve been shopping at this jewel for at least ten years. I appreciate the level of friendliness, attention to detail and support I receive when I shop here.

Anytime I shop here, I feel uncomfortable. There have been times the self-checkout employee has stood so close to me while watching me during checkout that she was in my personal space. Mind you, there were others checking themselves out. Instances like that are so ridiculous to me. The employee was so busy watching the Black person who had no need to steal that all of the other people at self-checkout could've walked out with free groceries and she wouldn't have noticed. I only live a couple of minutes from this grocery store, but now go out of my way to spend my money where I can grocery shop comfortably.

This Jewel-Osco is very hidden, less crowded than the one in round lake. (Definitely switching over) Prices are alike although, it does seem less maintained than the one in round lake. Still would come back here to shop though

Great store jas several brands we don't jave in Kentucky, so always a stock up on things when traveling thru.

Great place to shop! Most employees are real nice! Deli, bakery and fish/meat friends are wonderful.

Prices are through the roof. This is our go to grocery however those that sack the groceries need more training.

A great place to get tux/suit rentals. Very kind customer service, extremely beautiful corsages and the one my son had even lit up. The craftsmanship on the plants and other decorations is beautiful.

The range of grocery products is solid, the prices are reasonable, but the sour and unfriendly staff make for an unpleasant shopping errand. With Mariano’s and Butera grocery stores nearby, where the staff are talkative and knowledgeable, it’s an easy decision to bypass this Jewel location.

This location is the closest to me but will stop frequenting as the quality and friendliness is not the same as the Gurnee location. Their baked goods aren’t as fresh as they used to be the cakes are weeks old unlike Gurnee where it’s rare to see a cake 3 days after it’s baked. Also, this is the second time I’ve witnessed the employee Tim be extremely rude to another employee. One of the cashiers needed a 21+ and while the cashier was bagging Tim snuck up and processed the alcohol which the cashier didn’t see him do because he had his back to him. So the cashier asked again for a 21+ and Tim yells at him in front of everyone “Read can’t you Read Tito’s Vodka,” and then looks at the lady who I believe is a manager and out loud says “ see what kind of people I have to work with” and she just smiled and didn’t tell him anything. Well guess what maybe that’s why they are short on staff who wants to work with a person like that and as a customer I do not want to hear that because not only are you being extremely rude but you are holding the line up and not ringing up my groceries.

The kindest delivery man dropped off these lovely flowers today, from my daughter. I didn’t catch his name but he was professional and sweet.
