Hits the spot EVERY time! Everything I have tried here has always been delicious. Whether it has been one if the various teriyaki options, sushi or the bubble tea - you can’t go wrong! The menu spells all the ingredients out very clearly, the staff is super friendly and hard-working and always happy to answer any questions or offer suggestions - which is super helpful since I have food allergies. I had stopped buying bubble tea locally, since I am always disappointed, but the bubble tea here is phenomenal and I can’t come here without ordering some! The sushi - sooo good, so fresh, and the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The teriyaki is always my comfort food and always a very generous portion as well for the price. Literally, I cannot come here without buying one of everything. Customer for life right here! Thank you to the staff for always making my experience a great one! If you haven’t tried Maki House - what are you waiting for!?

Wow! Crowded place. There was a line out the door at 8PM on a Saturday. I’ve driven past this place a bunch and never thought to stop in, had no idea they had boba either! I got the chicken teriyaki with avocado eel roll and a taro milk tea with tapioca and cheese foam!!! I was excited to try the cheese foam because there are barely any boba shops in Akron at all, let alone ones that have specialty ingredients!! Let me just say, this is the best boba in the Akron area by FAR. this is on par with shops I’ve been to in Columbus. Usually I pretty much have to travel to Cleveland or Columbus to get decent boba that is authentic. I’m so glad I discovered this place! But on to the food. The chicken teriyaki was very fresh. It was served over white rice with cabbage, carrot, onion, and a light teriyaki sauce. I liked the sauce. It wasn’t too sugary or salty. The chicken was a little fatty but the portion was huge for $9. The sushi was fantastic! Very fresh. The atmosphere was a bit cramped but the sushi bar looks really cool. I’ll be a returning customer!:)

Great bubble teas, specially the green tea matcha with sweet bean paste. Sushi is also very yummy, nice portions and quality ingredients that reflect their prices. Service is really good and sitting areas are kept clean and neat.

If you want great service and great food this is the place to go! I stopped by here for lunch with my toddler and we had the chicken teriyaki! The food was so great I had accidentally left my wallet! No problem I called the store when I figured out and they were holding on to it tightly for me! When I stop back up to pick my wallet up I figure I might as well try there boba tea, the drink I got was called dirty milk tea with brown sugar and boba and boy was it delicious. I will definitely be returning and I will tell my family and friends about this place! Thanks Maki house for the wonderful customer service!!!!!!!!!

Phenomenal sushi and bubble tea. The fresh fruit tea was an experience in itself. The sushi was very fresh and made perfectly. I cant wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! Thank you to the Chefs and all the workers.

The moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and offered help in selecting a drink. We ordered our food at the front too and then sat down. It was our first time and we are a little bit of boba snobs so we were a little worried it wouldn’t be good - BUT IT WAS AMAZING. We’ve traveled quite a bit to the west coast, East coast, and Japan - let me tell you this boba is worth it. The teriyaki meals are worth it. The sushi and sushi rolls are worth it. The big portion of chicken was well cooked in a delicious sauce and over a generous bed of rice. We included noodles in our option and loved it. The veggies were perfectly cooked as well not too soggy but not too firm either. There were so many roll pieces! So delicious and well made. We ordered the rainbow rolls. We will for sure return and encourage anyone and everyone to check it out!! I got the Taro boba and my husband got the Peach Galaxy.

Wonderful tender chicken that’s sweet and savory. Veggies are crisp and well steamed. Thai tea boba was great! Boba was chewy and fresh!

We used to go when they were in Belden Village , but this was our first time at their location since moving and upgrading. The food and workers were all so amazing and kind! We will for sure be back (:

I would say that service is so so. Not very personable and engaging. The atmosphere kinda felt the same The food once it arrived though, was well prepared, presented and tasty! I do feel that it was a bit pricy considering how subpar the service was.

Chicken Teriyaki is so good. Fresh and cooked to perfection every time. If you haven't tried it, you are missing out!! Staff is pleasant and accommodating. Restaurant is clean and condiments, napkins, etc. are well organized. Highly recommend!!

The welcome and smile when we walked in was great! You oder as soon as you walk in, wether it's to go or if you are dinning in. I order the shrimp & chicken combo with fried rice, my wife ordered the chicken with fried rice. I also ordered the spicy tuna rolls, everything was good. Overall it was a very clean and very friendly staff.

Poor take out experience. The food was okay. The online takeout ordering process shifts the burden of processing payment and placing the order onto the consumer and then proceeds to charge a "convenience" fee and repeatedly begs for a tip (I always tip for services rendered: waiters, drivers, oil change, etc.). When I arrived, I said I'd ordered takeout, I had my confirmation open on my phone screen. They asked if I was "Doordash," I said no and tried to show my phone. Then, I was asked about several other orders that were not mine. I said no several times. Finally, the clerk looked at my phone and quickly presented my order. Is this what I paid a "convenience" fee for? I asked for soy sauce, and the clerk curtly responded, "It's all in the bag!" I received one packet of soy sauce per entree. You are better off calling your order in and paying at the counter. Or simply dining in. The food was both good and disappointing. The chicken, vegetables, and noodles were well cooked and tasty. The shrimp was overcooked and chewy. The portions of tuna were very disappointing. I won't order online again. I may give the indoor service a chance if the lady at the front is not my server.
