This is one of my favorite spots in Darmstadt. Reason being the atmosphere of the place, the food, most of which has Demeter certification, and most importantly...the awesome farm. For families with small kids it’s also quite an attractive location because of the toys that are available that keep the little ones happy. Although most the toys are basically worn own and completely broken, somehow the kids always find creative ways to utilize them...which is generally not a bad thing. Maybe they ought to check the toys out and replace or do away with some of them that could indeed pose danger to young toddlers. As for the cafe itself, it’s always fully booked, but if your are lucky to find a space then you will most probably enjoy your stay there. It’s very cosy and comfortable. Again for kids...there are tons of books which can be looked at. It’s definitely my go to location in Darmstadt.
