I am writing to complain my stay in Guangzhou Four Season between 2023/07/04 and 2023/07/05. The staffs' unprofessional behaviors made me miss my train. I need apologies and compensations. Here is what happpened -- I forgot my phone on my breakfast table (72nd floor cafe) on 2023/07/05. I realized it immediately after stepping out and got back there. Two staffs were cleaning the table and insisted they didn't see my phone at all. It was around 10:20. I got back to my room and called the front desk to report the issue. What front desk did is only transfer the call to the cafe and the cafe didn't response my call. Then the cafe called me saying they got my phone. They asked me to choose to pick it up by myself or they can deliver to my room. I chose the later one. It was around 10:25. I waited in the room but no one came. So I called the front desk and they said they saw cafe staff was delivering my phone (which was approved not true later). I explained I needed to check out and catched my train, so I wanted my phone to be delivered to the front desk. They insisted me to wait in the room. It should be around 10:35. After 10 more mins wait, I finally realized no one would come :) So I went downstairs to the front desk to ask where my phone is. One staff got to the cafe to pick it (so it showed nobody was delivering it though they promised). It was past 10:50 and I missed my train. What is most ridiculous is all staffs I met in this issue showed they didn't care. I had loss financially and physically - that was the only direct train to my home. I changed to indirect trains and I couldn't get seats for my mom and me, so we stood 8 hours all the way home. It should be totally avoidable, if staffs at 10:20 could try to help find my phone/if the staffs didn't promise a delivery/if the staffs didn't insist me to stay waiting... I felt the management and communications are pretty messy there.

Wonderful views over Guangzhou with great dining and drinking facilities, staffed by attentive and knowledgeable employees. The cocktail bar on the 99th floor simply cannot be missed. All of the furniture faces the views and the city skyline light show is incredible. I'd really recommend a visit.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! From the moment we checked In, I knew this was going to be an incredible stay. The staff have been absolutely incredible, extremely warm and welcoming and go out of their way to help with any queries. The level of attention and professionalism is truly next level. I cannot thank the staff enough for how helpful they have been. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel design is also mind blowing. It's like staying in the clouds. The rooms are spacious well furnished and incredibly clean. The entire hotel is absolutely spotless, It may as well be heaven on earth because this is as close as it gets. If you are coming to Guangzhou, don't even bother with any other hotel. Stay here, you won't regret it.

I have stayed in 5-star hotels around the world. This is not one of them. While the staff was OK, the property was not. The basin in the bathroom of the Premium Tower View room in which I stayed was plugged. The shower could not be completely turned off. The floor in the entry was sticky when I entered and still sticky when I left on three days later. The tub surface was not clean and so slippery I feared using it. The refrigerator was not vented properly so the contents were warm. A small milk I had to purchase since none was provided for coffee and which I stored there curdled in a few days. Worst of all was the food poisoning I received from eating at the Catch restaurant. That expensive meal caused me to miss an important business meeting the next day.

The hotel is first class and the prices are low if you compare to other cities of the world. The rooms are very nice. The personnel is very friendly. The service is good. Communication is fair if you don’t have anything difficult to explain. The breakfast is good they go out there way to please you. The Japanese restaurant is very expensive and no good.

I really liked this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel was always very clean. The breakfast buffet was very good, though I've been to better ones with hotels of this price per night. The rooms were excellent. They provided plenty of water at the hotel which was really nice. Food outside of the buffet is expensive at the hotel and I wasn't really impressed with the taste other than the pizza. That was pretty good and seemed to have been cooked in an authentic Italian style. Services that I know of: Currency exchange Pool Jacuzzi Spa Sauna Steam Room Bar Ticket booking Cab booking (when you go to your cab, once you've described where you want to go, the hotel staff will give you a card that has the destination in Chinese and English, and the back side of the card will be the hotel address and contact info. Keep that card to show you next cab driver for when you want to get back)

This Four Seasons is in the "new city" Guangzhou. Located near the Pearl River, it has wonderful views of the city. The building is very tall, at 103 stories. The room was large, clean, and well-appointed. The beds were the best I've ever slept in, and the chairs and couch were soft as well. The staff was friendly and professional. The only reason I only gave this hotel 4 stars is that on our first night, the lights in the room would not turn off, and had to be re-wired. But that was minor and was done quickly by a friendly and understanding (though not English-fluent) repair man. Overall, this is a great hotel, albeit pricey. Room Tip: Room 8016 had electrical problems, but great views.

This is one of my favorite hotels, from beautiful design to great service. The rooms are well laid out with all amenities. Maintenance and cleanliness are excellent. Breathtaking views over Guangzhou, especially if you go to 99th floor bar. Also very well-located for business and sightseeing.

This review is for their afternoon tea. Came with a friend recently. Although the location, situated on 70th floor, offers breathtaking view, overlooking various city landmarks, the quality of the dessert items were well below expectations. The salty set had four scones which showed no variety and tasted flaky and dry, the lemon curd, butter etc. for spreading were average. IMO, scones are the worst dessert in English tea culture and I absolutely hate it! The sweet set was way too sweet, I did NOT like it at all! Has your chef any concerns about diabetes? They looked good but tasted bad, guess you can't judge things by looks. For someone who crazily loves desserts like me, every bite was hard to swallow. Service was friendly but sloppy, I can hardly understand what the waitress slurred through her mask. In the middle of it, I've got a saleswoman approaching us to sell us membership. Sorry, I am here to enjoy tea time with friend, not to do business. The afternoon tea at Four Seasons Guangzhou is a disappointment, with so many five star hotels around the area, I don't think I'll come back.

Hands down best hotel in gz! We stayed at gz tower king bed room, simply breathtaking view at 77F floor. You can order meituan and get it downstairs. Another amazing thing is that room service applies to indoor pool area as well 😍 Service was beyond spectacular- Liang at the pool service was so kind, friendly, and genuine. I could feel that she really enjoys her job and wished we had a pleasant stay (we def did!) Can’t recommend enough this hotel. Will visit again and again if I could :)

Great location, ample sized rooms and bathrooms. K11 mall right next to you . Problem is the double elevator to get to your room. One to lobby second to rooms.

I love the Four Seasons. This was a very unique property. It was on the top of a skyscraper. The hotel is on the top floors starting from 74th going up to as high as 98th. They always manage to make you feel special because they have a history of your precious stays at their other properties. The view from our room on the 91st story was amazing! Floor to ceiling windows. Although the room was a little bit disappointing in regards to the dated decor and the slight smell. There is an amazing Michelin rated dim sum restaurant that has the most amazing food! You have to try. The lobby of the hotel on the 74th floor is amazing.
