It was a very powerful display showing through art and stories the history of the Guatamalen people! Very well done and insightful.

Super interesting and super relevant!! To better understand Guatemala, its indigenous people and also get some Mayan history few things beat this place. I'd say it's a 'must' visit when in Guatemala City. When I arrived they were closed, preparing for an evening event, but the wonderfully helpful, passionate and knowledgable German lady who also works there managed to give me a quick tour before the evening activities. Based on the very very informative quick tour I'm convinced a full 90mins will provide even more valuable and interesting information. Thus, don't be fooled into thinking this is just a small "casa" - it's a actually bigger than thought and the knowledgable and committed staff mean you'll likely take away more than from some of the big museums.

Great tour guides all volunteers. You leave with one in a life time experience of what happened during 36 years of the internal conflict.

Very interesting Museum dedicated to those who have lost their lives to corruption, lies and terrible politics throughout the last century in Guatemala. Information is provided in Spanish only. Entrance is free, leave a little donation if possible- it‘s all based on voluntary work.
