Fantastic coffee, one of the best since I’m traveling around Central America. Super delicious flatwhite and affogato, the coffee itself has an absolutely fantastic taste, well balanced aroma’s. I love it, I will definitely come back again. Guatemala has definitely one of the best coffee culture in the world

Fast service. Very good coffee, one of the best we've tried in Antigua. Bagels were super yummy. As was the complete breakfast. The smoothie was just ok.

Really enjoyed several visits here. Several pour over techniques available and terrific varieties of coffee as well. Very conscientious about their extraction process and the coffees taste great. Lovely staffs & nice vibe, comfortable seating, fresh and airy ambiance. Would recommend for others

Best place in town. Always different coffee grains. Africa, Guatemala, Colombia, etc.... I love the idea

In short: the coffee and matcha is really good, the food rather average. When we went there they didn’t have half of the breakfast menu, so there wasn’t much to choose from. We ordered the typical Guatemalan breakfast and “the boss” bagel. The typical Guatemalan breakfast was OK, but the cream served with it tasted like mayonnaise and I really ate the same thing around the corner and it was way better (in a place which is not 4.7).

Decent Wi-Fi, good seating and very popular. The cement wall above where we were sitting is slowly crumbling and we were getting rained on by the debree. That should be an easy repair and we will be back regardless.

COFFEE REVIEW. (From a coffee snob) Cute little spot (can get a bit hot sitting in the window if you’re in the morning sun. Coffee was pretty good - might have been a touch burnt in the machine, but otherwise, a good cup of coffee.

My favourite chai latte in Antigua, it did not disappoint. Strong wifi to work & you'll often finds nomads here. There isn't a ton of space but during quieter hours it's a great spot to work. Unfortunately, our orders got mixed up, but the food is very tasty.

I only had a chemex and a cookie, both good, but for the price I would had expected more. Place is nice and good wifi if you go to work. Nothing remarkable.

Love the vibe, wide variety of pour overs which is lovely to see. You can really tell they love their coffee here. My partner and I frequented while staying in Antigua and it was definitely one of our favourite cafes, mine for sure 😜 Lovely book selection they have and we spent hours just reading at the cafe. 5 stars, highly recommended!

This coffee is far better than any you will ever experience at a chain restaurant. If you like a bold flavor with creamy finish try the flat white. Sip it slowly on a bench in Central Park for the perfect effect. Riquisimo!

The best coffee I've had in Antigua in my opinion. I like my coffee strong, but smooth and they deliver. They also have amazing chocolate covered alfajor cookies. Cute small shop where you can get a simple meal and work.

Nice place. It has everything to be a 5 star coffee but it lacks atmosphere. Pretty transactional but with great breakfast options and an amazing coffee selection (in terms of varieties of coffee and brewing methods).

Very tranquil coffee shop. Little jazz music in the background, good coffee, wonderful place to unwind or catch up with friends. They also do those Japanese Iced Coffee cold brew. Worth a try!

My favorite coffee during my stay here in Antigua. Cortado was rich, had full body, with strong hints of dark chocolate, which I liked.

  • 5/5 Jessica K. 2 years ago on Google
Incredible breakfast and dirty chai latte, which is really easy to mess up. Creamy and almost chocolatey. Cute inside and friendly staff. Definitely worth the stop.

  • 5/5 Colby K. 2 years ago on Google
This has to be the best coffee I’ve had in Antigua. Off the beaten path you’ll will find this gem with their friendly staff and delicious crafted drinks! Their dirty chai is also a 10/10.

Quite average coffee, food, and cookies for them to promote themselves as select coffee place. I generally do not rate low because i know how difficult it is to run a cafeteria. Actually deserves only 2 stars.

We were lucky enough to have a tour guide who was able to set us up with a coffee tasting during our time in Antigua. My husband and I are coffee lovers and being in the area is a must do for anyone who can relate. The complete review of where the best coffee is grown, the science of tasting, and actual process of the cupping was educational and enjoyable. Their coffee was some of the best we enjoyed during our trip and we can’t wait to share it with our family when we get home!!

Such a great stop! It was one of our favorite finds while traveling. Can’t help but have appreciation for a place that has passion for their craft! ☕️ The pour overs were consistently great for our entire stay. If you catch this place on a rainy day, it’s like a dream!

  • 4/5 Laurent B. 1 year ago on Google
Great place with a underground vibe. The food looks great but I came for the coffee. I had a pour over for 45q and it was good but not as good as I expected for the price. In my hometown in Berlin when I pay so much for a coffee I really get a treat. Thinking of the barn or 19grams or 5elephant. I have the feeling that most specialty coffee shops in Antigua are a bit pretending to be specialty without really committing fully to serve a great coffee. It is a pity because I was really looking forward to try some Guatemalan coffee.

  • 4/5 Gal H. 8 months ago on Google
Espresso was good, food was ok. The filter coffees looks like a great option but didn’t had the chance to try them.

  • 3/5 Brian B. 6 months ago on Google
While the area is known for their coffee, this was unfortunately the worst I've tasted in the trip. My iced latte was really bitter, and the chocolate chip cookie I bought with it wasn't what I was really hoping for. I like my cookies on the softer side and this one looked thick, but didn't have the texture or flavor I was expecting. The chocolate chips were really what saved it from going in the trash. I'm sure I caught a bad brew since the place seemed packed, and with other things on the menu, there is definitely more to judge this place on than just this experience. However, with the number of other restaurants around, we ended up finding food elsewhere.

Our usual routine: order a cappuccino as a base of comparison.Compared to cappuccinos we have tried around the world, the espresso is less strong, but rather rich with aroma and flavour. The cappuccino costed us Q19 for petite and Q23 for grande - a tad higher than other coffee joints around the area. The latte art is amazing and barista took the time in making the cute art without asking. We love how the ladies and gents working there are super nice and willing to answer all our pesky questions in English. WiFi is good once connected. No AC, but you won't need it in the morning.

Fat Cat Coffe House is one of the best places to have coffee in Antigua. I really enjoyed my time there, and a great thing about this place is the staff. The guy that made me my coffee (I asked for a Flat White) was so nice. My girlfriend asked for a cold coffee and asked for sugestions. He didn't hesitate to give the best advice he could, and the cold coffee was great.

Hands down the best coffee in Antigua and possibly in Guatemala. It’s small and popular, so if you’re lucky you’ll get a good seat, otherwise it’s still worth picking up an espresso or cold brew if you’re not staying to sip a v60

One of the best tasting coffee in Guatemala. And if it's one of the best in Guatemala it's one of the best in the world. They have an impressive variety of prep methods and coffee-based drinks for every palate. The place is really small and not particularly comfortable but you don't come here for the wallpaper, you come here for the taste. Really high quality coffee and not pricey at all.
