Rude and ignorant manager! Turned her back on me, after raising her voice at me, as I explained (quietly and calmly ) there was no sign indicating where line up BEGAN. Take a breath! All other staff kind and courteous. Aug 26 th 4:00 pm

The service at cash was terrible, the two girls working Feb 6th (sunday) were rude and didn't seem to care about customer service. I bought 3 pairs of jeans that cost over 230.00 and they had a sign buy 1 get 1 for 50% off. People be AWARE of the very SMALL print that says "select styles only" !!! What a joke, I called customer service to tell them their sign is ridiculous and for a company that makes alot of money, they can afford to take 50% off jeans, come spring they will be put in the back and discounted more than that. They offered me 20 % off next purchase, I told them I didn't want it, I will never do business there again.

They have great deals for jeans and prices are reasonable too. Service was great.

I often pass by this location while browsing the many clothing stores inside Stone Road Mall, but it is rare that I enter American Eagle. After my most recent experience I would be surprised if I ever find myself inside this store again in my lifetime. It was a relatively busy afternoon when I walked through the crowded retail space and staff members seemed to be feeling overwhelmed. I don't often find employees in this store to be particularly helpful but I would, at the very least, expect them to be polite to customers. This was certainly not the case on this particular occasion. A rude staff member working at the checkout counter demanded that all guests line up in a specific formation, which was extremely illogical given the scarce amount of space to walk within the small store. The employee seemed short tempered and unnecessarily demanding for someone tasked with being the face of the store's customer service experience. A word of advice, don't accept a job in retail if you are unwilling to deliver an enthusiastic level of service to those supporting your business financially. It seems rather counterintuitive to be rude to those attempting to spend money in your store.

Busy store but staff are quick to help, especially with returns.

Dropped by this location tonight to inquire about an online order that i had placed for in-store pick up that got randomly cancelled. The male associate (I did not catch his name) was so helpful, his whole approach of 'let me check if it's here and if its not we will fix this' was a relief in this hectic busy season. Great service.

Bought a few pairs of jeans from here, great experience. Amazing staff, each time I’ve been there they have went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to help me with any questions I have! Love the staff so much here

The customer service in this store is very strange. I'm the type of customer who doesn't care to be greeted or waited on, I don't insist that workers put on a facade of being persistently happy to be at their minimum wage customer service job, however I do feel that a certain minimal degree of putting some effort into not making customers feel like you don't absolutely despise them for shopping at the store you happen to work at is a reasonable expectation to have that the customer service here doesn't really meet. Every time I come into the store the vibes are so bad, and I have found if you so much as ask a low effort answer question, for example a simple clarification on a sale price, the employees act like you have insulted them, their family, friends, and past and future ancestors. I can survive the strangeness but I used to have a coworker who refuses to go in to this store because of the number it did on her social anxiety so, just some things to keep in mind. Came in last Sunday and the staff were not friendly and helpful to customers. When I came to the lady who is the staff there to ask about prices for stuffs that I chose, she just walked away and told us that another staff will help me to check out. But when we line up, The staff just look at and ignore customer. They let us wait at the wrong line without saying anything until another customer told us. Manager should train staffs about customer services so that customers are happy to shop here.

Alex, Cashier ah9515 in Guelph is amazing - I strolled in with a less than ideal arm full of garments to return and 5 mins left in the store being open - he totally, made my day with his patience, quick wit & assistance. So refreshing, especially after the last 18 months of very limited in-store shopping, to be helped in person by someone as vibrant as him. 😊
