This is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Guelph. The gardens are gorgeous and are immaculately well kept. The “flower clock” brings back memories of visits from when I was a kid. Still feels kind of magical. The actual park here is awesome too. The first slide my daughters ever went down is the “roller slide” here that moves a little slower than a regular slide. They put on a pretty good Christmas light show that is worth seeing (the last two years it’s been a drive through event). On top of all that, there are lovely walking paths that follow the speed river all the way towards Guelph Lake! Riverside is a must visit for people in Guelph.

Grew up here. Walk my dog on a daily basis and sidewalks are always clean. The grass on the other hand has been taken over by geese during the late spring early summer. Great place for kids to play at the park and has train rides and the Ferris wheel. Across the river has golfing with frisbee’s.

I live in Waterloo & went to this park for the first time in Guelph & I gotta say it is one of the beautiful park I have seen so far. It is well maintained & very clean. They have a big play area for kids & amazing small waterfall. The washrooms were amazingly clean as well.

Nice park with nice gardens to walk through and a floral clock close to Woolwich. Sad to see they aren't doing the paddle boats on the river anymore. That was a really fun addition to this park. They still have the carousal and train for young children. But the boats were fun for all. Otherwise some decent trails to walk thru, just wish there was better use of the water for people to enjoy.

A lovely park that is great for families. You can find rides for children (carousel, train, play structure), picnic tables, beautiful trails to walk, and a concession stand. A great place to spend a lazy weekend afternoon.

Riverside Park is a hidden gem located in the east end of Toronto. This park features a large open green space, a playground, a splash pad, and access to the Don River trail. The park is surrounded by trees and offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere, making it a great place for a picnic or to relax on a sunny day. The playground is well-maintained and offers a variety of equipment for children of all ages. The splash pad is a popular spot for families in the summer months, providing a fun and refreshing way to beat the heat. The park also hosts events and activities throughout the year, such as movies in the park and community festivals. Overall, Riverside Park is a wonderful destination for anyone looking to enjoy nature and outdoor recreation in the heart of the city.

This park is definitely worth taking the kids to. They have a marry-go-round and a train ride which the kiddos loved and they even have pretty cool play structures etc. the kids were asking to go back the following weekend they liked it so much. And the rides are fairly cheap I believe it's 2-3 dollars per child and adults ride free. Can be quite crowded but for a park this cool how could it not be.

Excellent park. The playground is surrounded by rubber matting. There is an antique carousel and a train ride both reasonable priced at 3 dollar a ride or a seasons pass for under 25 dollars. Lots of parking. Not many benches, so bring your own camp chair. Lots of old growth trees that provide ample shade. The river is beautiful and clean. This park gets busy so go early to get good parking. There seem to be childrens day camps that let the kids run around unsupervised. Things can get a little out of hand with playground bullying so just keep careful watch.

Top notch park for both kids and parents to spend quality time, whilst surrounded by nature. Some of the activities at this location include: mini train ride, ice cream shop, carousel, and jungle gyms of various sizes and complexities. I would 100% recommend driving from London to visit this place.

Fantastic park! Lots of equipment and space. A working train and carousel on weekends at a super affordable price. Onsite concessions as well. Lots of parking. Saw geese and ducks. Overall a great time with the kids.

A beautiful place to walk, picnic, run, bike, play frisby on either side of the river, etc. I absolutely love this park.

Love this park and so did my grandson !! The playground is awesome but I can't wait to revisit in the summer !! There is a Carousel and a convection building that looks like they serve food, drinks and best of all ice cream !! 😉💜 And it also looks like they might have a train ride as well !! With all of this, the river and the size of the park, I figure a great way to spend a day !! 😉💜👍👍

Park is situated just north of the downtown in Guelph and has lot's of free parking. Lot's of trails to choose from, plus paved areas to walk as well. It houses the enabling garden for accessibility. The river flows through the middle with a walk bridge. Children's play area is great and in warmer months there is a carousel 🎠

The playground had a great setup for children! The interactive playground ensures maximum engagement for the kids. In the summertime, there is a carousel, a train ride, and a snack bar. Beautiful walking trails along the Speedriver. There are three baseball diamonds, to which, when not in use, off leash dogs can openly play, and the fur parents can chat. There is a disc golf, bike/hike trails, picnic areas, and scenic view bench at riverside. Beautiful park!

Great place to let the kids play. Don't forget to grab your seasonal pass for the carousel and train. It's only 25 for the season or 2.81 a ticket. If your child is like mine I can spend the 25 in one day.

Riverside park is a lot of fun for the family. The river is shallow enough that you can walk through it. And there's a waterfall that is pretty neat to walk up to and touch. Bring cash so you can treat the family to ice cream at the concession stand near the playground, buy a burger or hot dog, or but tickets for the kids to ride the carousel!

Worth going to the park. Quite well maintained. Kids had a lot of fun in the play area. It also has a marry go round and a kids train(parents can accompany the kids). It also has a kiosk for refreshments. The river passes by with a little waterfall and bridge. It’s nice walking along the river.

Always clean and well kept. Visited twice from an hr away drive.. lots of parking and picnic space.. beautiful river side spot to relax with the family and huge playground spacious for everyone esp during this covid time. Lovely display at the flower clock, even though the clock itself didn't have any flowers...maybe for summer it will have? I'll just have to go back again 😊😊

Loved it. We all had so much fun, especially the kids. It was a pleasant experience. It was lovely having this experience before school resumption. We took lots of pictures. The park truly is beautiful. We visited the spiral garden, floral clock. We saw a model of the first house built in Guelph in 1827. There were beautiful flowers everywhere. We visited the waterfalls. It was absolutely amazing

Nice park with lots of slace for many visitors. There is a public washroom and multiple areas with picnic benches. Great place for spending time outdoors with friends and family. There are gazebos as well. Access to walking and sitting next to the river makes this park popular especially when there many parking spots.

First time at the Riverside Park. I was driving around and saw the playground so I stopped to let my son play around for a while. The structures were clean and well maintained. The park felt safe and my son loved it. He got excited every a dog walked by. Will definitely come back again and bring my son to play on the playground. Fully recommended 😉😁😎🤟🏻🇨🇦🍁

Loved this park. Huge park and the near by location is also good. The washrooms were clean and well maintained unlike many other parks. Good for every age. Children's park is also big and have many different devices. Kids will love this place. There is area for base ball field.

Well, this is always a good park we like to visit. Was waiting for the kiddos to finish school and it was a beautiful, autumn day. Trees were gorgeous. Everything was beautiful. Well maintained for the most part. I love the playground! Great little spot for walking. BUT. I am grateful they put a portapotty outside when they locked the bathrooms :( (sad that they are closed already.) but... I went to use it and it was DESTROYED. I saw city vehicles in the parking lot when I got there so I assumed all the checks were good - especially because they left... Made me wonder how much they verify before leaving when they're down there. Wondering what kind of protocols are there to maintain said area. Was disappointed that people would vandalize such a beautiful spot. But... Usually I'd say 5 * just... This particular encounter... Not as pleasant.
