This beautiful park on the Grand River features a softball diamond, a playground, picnic tables, and the Royal Recreational Trail which is a 2.5 km six-section trail system meandering through parks, school sites and open spaces in Guelph.

My favorite place for picnic and walk. It's so beautiful for sunset as well. Only issue is that there is no public washroom amenities nearby.

My dogs love walking by the water! It's a great place to snap amazing nature/water bird pictures, enjoy a picnic with the family or just relax by the water.

Awesome playground here. The large mature trees provide a ton of shade, and there's a good variety of equipment. Very popular and often busy.

A very pretty, river side park in one of Guelph's most historic neighborhoods. Lots of space to wander and often hosts events like the Guelph Potter's Market and Guelph Dance Festival. Grab ice cream from across Gordon Street at the historic boathouse, and then enjoy the shade of huge trees as you walk through the park.

Love the fact there's open grassy areas, a river to sit along, a gazebo, children's playground, walking paths and sports fields all accessible from this park! Such a cozy community vibe especially in the summertime. I haven't used them, but there are one or two portable toilets available.

On the river just outside of the bustling downtown. Across from the Boathouse restaurant, bocce club and nature trails. There are canoes avaible to rent in summer. Lovely park.

I frequently walk around this park with my family and friends, and we always enjoy it here. The water is calming, and the people in the area are always friendly. On some occasions, we stay longer to have a picnic. Lots of great memories here! Watch where you're walking or placing your picnic blankets though... Lots of mess from the birds especially during warm seasons

I begin my kayak adventure up the Speed River from the park. What a beautiful oasis near the heart of the city.

Geese flirting on the river in a beautiful summer evening. Fresh air hitting on your face. Evenings are my favourite in this park. Really beautiful and a must visit when you are in Guelph.

One way traffic of Gordon , park along side of road, large kids play area, walk along both sides of river, picnic tables and benches. Small Riverside restaurant eat in or outside sitting. Canoe and cyack rentals. Eastside covered bridge and more walking or open grass area. To the west walking or biking trail and soccer fields.

Place is quite and beautiful. But needs to be cleaned and maintain. Grass have to be cut in shape and cleaned.

I've only sat on the benches facing the river with my dog but it's always very relaxing and serene. Great place to unwind!
