We just love this place! The food is good, the staff are kind and attentive and it never disappoints. We come here a lot and we have never had a bad experience. If it was possible to love breakfast food more, this place would be responsible for it! They get very busy on the weekends. So, expect wait time for seating depending on what time it is. Thank you to the cooks and staff for all your efforts!

My husband and I had a great experience in our first visit to this restaurant today! Both the service and the food are wonderful. We ordered the Club Omelette to share plus bacon on the side. Delicious! Crispy fries, flavorful creamy omelette. Everything perfect to our taste. And we can’t thank Angie enough for providing such an exceptional service. She was super friendly and attentive.

We came before 10am on a Saturday and there wee plenty of empty table. But I noticed there were a long line up by the time we left. I ordered a sandwich and it was ok. Looking back should’ve ordered what one of my friends ordered, items under ‘The Classic’ section. They’re in generously portion and more of a typical breakfast meal. All of our foods were good and we didn’t have to wait for long. The service was good too. Definitely will come back again to try other menu items.

Lets start off with a tip, you must get on the waiting list online if you want to stop by on a weekend. Saves you from waiting for your table. The ambiance is good, everyone is friendly and helpful. The food portions are good, and the taste is great too. The latte was tasty.

Can’t really go wrong with a classic breakfast! The moment you walk the rough the doors you can smell the food already being served to the other tables, it’s great! Good variety, not just the standard bacon and eggs their menu is massive. Potatoes aren’t traditional home fries, but sliced in to what almost resembles potato chips. The crunchy ones are the best, and the chunkier slices are a bit lacklustre. LOVE how the eggs come with a small side of beans, and boy do the beans hit. Super fun ambiance, you can tell why this place is packed on a weekend morning.

SUPER GOOD food with great variety of options. I got the brie honest eggs benedict and loved it. probably one of my favourite eggs benny i’ve had. the portions are also great for the price and i love their home fries!! i got crispy home fries and want to try the grilled next!

Definitely one of my go-to places for breakfast. Love the amount of menu options even though it gets so hard to decide sometimes! Their crispy potatoes are so good! Also enjoyed the eggs benedicts here. Friendly service and love that they have different featured drinks.

Me and my wife went for breakfast here and we really liked their breakfast menu. They have a really good selection for breakfast. Portion sizes are really good and prices are reasonable. Really good service. Definitely will return and recommend this place with five stars.

Service was great, a very good place to go for brunch with family. Very busy and the staff were very friendly, fast, and efficient. Very interesting drink menu with seasonal drinks. The food quality was were it fell a little short for me, but overall it was a good experience.

We all stopped in for some breakfast. This is a great spot that didn’t disappoint us at all! They had amazing service along with amazing food! I highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch!

Love this place. The food and service are excellent! The atmosphere is simple, it has kind of an industrial caffeteria esthetic and it's always very busy. This is because they are amazing at what they do. The food is superb, and they have a great variety of beverages from coffee and tea to creative shakes, cappucino, etc. I've NEVER had a bad meal here. I've tried several things off the menu and wasn't disappointed at all.

Good morning folks : Yesterday I treated myself to breakfast at Eggcetera . The atmosphere is festive , lively and caring . I was seated quickly at a table for one. The cheerful, busy hostess really keeps excellent track of what is going on in the dining room . I could tell she knows the regulars and cares about them : wishing a Merry Christmas and even offering hugs to some . That is just so sweet to witness .😀 My server has a personality that delights in serving and making one’s day . I didn’t get her name . I had the classic with bacon, eggs over easy home fries and rye toast . My breakfast was done to perfection ! The home fries are incredible! I asked for crispy. They were just like what my Nanny made and one aunt makes . I’d been craving my aunt’s home fries and Eggcetra nailed it ! Thank -you . It feels great to be served here as a single person . They don’t assume more are joining you , but make a single person feel welcome. It was fun to share ketchup with the table beside me , like the ‘ ole days . The restaurant was very busy and short on ketchup, but I didn’t mind sharing at all . You get to chat with someone . Coffee is delicious and so fresh ! I’m happy to see they use French’s ketchup, supporting Canadian farmers !! The washroom is immaculate . No waiting for the bill even when busy . This team is so on top of serving and providing top notch customer service . Thank you so much Eggcetra for a great breakfast experience.

It’s busy, so it must be great!!! We had a thirty minute wait when we showed up at 11am. We were quickly but pleasantly greeted and seated at the thirty minute mark. Our server was kind and thorough. We received our water immediately after being seated which was a great touch. Food came out within 15-20 minutes, and was top notch! Fresh, hot and flavourful. The coffee is good too! The price point is on point with the portions and totally worth the quality of dishes. Looking forward to making the drive back, many times. Thank you!

A group of friends and I decided to have breakfast at Eggcetra and we weren't disappointed. There was a small wait when we arrived (clearly a very popular place) but when we were seated the staff was prompt and quick to tend to our needs. The food took a little bit time to make but was well worth it. I had the granola/yogurt/fruit dish and it was both tasty and light, would definitely recommend.

I visited this place for the first time last week, and as I expected from the reviews, it had a cosy atmosphere. I recommend this place to people who like brunches at the weekend 😊.

This is my go-to place for a solo breakfast with my book which is strange to some as this is one of the noisiest breakfast restaurants in town, but it works. I love how you can add your name to their waiting list online before you even leave your house. Today, there was no line-up but it was very busy, as always… I was seated quickly and asked what I wanted to drink before I even had a chance to take my coat off. I tried one of their croissantwiches; Bacon, egg, tomato, and gouda. It was pretty good. The croissant was extremely flaky, which was yummy but it also made it difficult to eat the sandwich gracefully. Today, I added a side of home fries, I picked the deep fried option which makes them nice and crispy. This Eggcetra Restaurant is a good choice any day of the week.

Food is super delicious. Our order came very quickly, and the portion size was big. We ordered coffee after lunch but the waitress put the receipt on our table although we did not ask for it or tell her that we were done ordering. She said don’t worry about it; there is no need to pay now. We thought that this might be how they do it and said it is okay. After 10 minutes, she came back asking if we need the machine to pay, which was somewhat annoying. We did not say we are done ordering, we did not order the cheque, so I think it was a little disrespectful to us. Anyway I am just giving 3/5 because of this incident.

The breakfast food was really tasty with generous portions. I got the madame sandwich and my husband chose the classic breakfast. They had some really cute lattes as well. Although there was a wait on a Sunday morning, the queue moved quickly and we waited for much less time than they originally estimated.

Been a while since I last been. But this is for sure one of my favourite breakfast/brunch places in Ontario. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great and the food is as good.

Great food! So many breakfast options and have a beyond meat substitute available. We both really enjoyed our food and could not finish our plates! We will be coming back again!

Consistently good! We’ve been coming here since 2010 and the food has only gotten better. Was back in town visiting and had to get brunch here again! We got the crab cake Benny, strawberry Nutella crepe, chorizo skillet and traditional skillet - all so good!! Crab cake benny was my fav. Also would recommend homestyle/baked potatoes over the crispy (which r more like chips)

If you can be patient with long wait times just to get in the door, and slower than normal service (staff shortages affecting all businesses….be kind) then you will be treated to one of the best breakfast places around! I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always great. Portions are huge so come hungry, hungover or with friends to share.
