I have been staying at this hotel during work visits in Karachi. I highly recommend this hotel that offers you good value for your money. The hygienic and sumptuous rooms are well-maintained and well set upon your arrival. The food is well upto the mark and well presented. Their professional staff is courteous as well as very helpful. We have felt very welcome and supported here. The staff is excellent: very pleasant and diligent. Special shout out to housekeeping, laundry staff, pool and gym staff, executive lounge staff, breakfast staff, valet staff and the security guards. We had limited interaction with the room dining staff but when we did, it was very pleasant. Everyone always went an extra couple of miles. We enjoyed using the facilities as well. What can be improved on is the variety of menu at the executive lounge and breakfast area. We were here for several weeks and it can get a bit repetitive for guests staying for longer. The pool and gym facilities are great, just maybe some rules needed for non-guest members using those areas, especially with regards to noise. Overall, the room was great and our stay has been wonderful.

Excellent service. Great food and excellent staff from room service, laundry, house keeping etc. Very helpful. PS. I booked a two story suite but am glad I did not get that assigned on checkin. I took a tour and saw the two story rooms were very outdated, poorly kept and on mezzanine level. I would not recommend as is. Use the higher level king beds instead.

The service was excellent. I lost a gold earring which I found later in my own bag but the staff was very courteous and professional to help in any way they can. The housekeeping was very polite and on time. Highly recommended and appreciated.

I stayed for 6 weeks with my disabled father and elderly mother during February /March 2022. My brother later joined us and stayed in a separate room we were on the fourth floor. We had the most wonderful experiences from the moment they picked us up from the airport to the moment we were dropped off. Every member of staff went over and beyond to help and make our stay comfortable. My father has limited mobility and staff were at hand at all times to assist. Cleanliness efficiency friendliness and politeness are practiced at a high level. I was extremely impressed with the security and safety measures for Australian cricket team. I found the staff incredibly helpful. The hotel is in a perfect location. The hotel also hosts conferences, weddings and meetings. The breakfast buffet is also 5/5.I highly recommend this hotel

Centrally located in the city center. Safe and secure hotel in not so safe and secure city. Booked twin bed room. Decent size. Balcony is sealed cannot be accessed. Space has few restaurants with in on Mezzanine level and ground floor. Live music on lobby area with cafe service (pay as you go). Didn’t get a chance to try out the restaurants. Amenities: pool, gym, massage parlor, game room. I only tried the swimming pool they charge extra for guest for using the pool. Breakfast Buffet: Amazing selection, delicious food and fast wait staff service for tea. Over all good and comfortable stay for my 9 days minus the elevator dedicated to sports teams on tour. No stair access to floors, only fire exits that leads out to mezzanine roof.

A bit of an over burdened hotel with all the rooms booked. Overall, service, and room comfort is great. It has a full functional gym and health club with Jacuzzi and other amenities. Centrally located in the heart of the city.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this supposedly five-star hotel. Despite confirming my booking 20 days in advance and notifying them that I would be arriving with four children, the hotel staff at the front desk assigned us a smoking room that had a foul smell. After lodging a complaint, they did upgrade us from a standard to a deluxe room, which was a better accommodation. However, before we left the standard room, the room service staff entered and began inspecting the minibar. Strangely, we hadn't even used it during our brief 10-15 minute stay in the standard room. The room service attendant then informed me that some items were missing from the minibar, suggesting that they might have been consumed by the previous guest who checked out. This was quite infuriating, as it's the hotel's responsibility to ensure the room is fully stocked and in proper condition before assigning it to a new guest. Upon moving to the deluxe room, I started feeling unwell due to the presence of a carpet and windows that couldn't be opened for ventilation (SEALED WINDOWS). The lack of fresh air circulation led to health issues, and I had to seek medical attention for two days. When I requested a room without carpeting, the front desk staff regretfully informed me that such an option wasn't available. Despite my intended four-night stay, I decided to check out after just two nights due to the discomfort. In summary, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone based on the numerous issues I encountered during my stay.

I had a great time at the hotel. The location is great. The hotel itself is fantastic and one of the best places I've stayed in the world, let alone Pakistan. It's better than many 5 star hotels in the US or any European countries.

Had an excellent, comfortable and safe stay! The room was large and very convenient both for work and relaxing (my daughter thought the bed was the most comfortable ever!). All the meals were good, and the staff was very courteous and professional. We were well taken care of!

My stay was fabulous with their very good room service but the cherry on top was their loyalty when I forgot my personal diary in the parking lot, I made a call there and they have found and kept with them safely within minutes. They made my day with their trustworthy services

Overall the hotel has decent accommodation and services. Excellent pick and drop service between the hotel and airport. Despite the variety of food items available to try, there are very few dishes that really make your taste buds yearn for more 🙁 Moreover prices of standard snacks, beverages and commodity food items is jaw droppingly high 🤔 especially in poolside restaurant.

Location is center of Karachi city. Nice pool area, good breakfast and coffee in the morning. Carpets in rooms and hallways need to be replaced. Very dirty. Otherwise pleasant stay and would come again.

Due to Covid 19 pendemic, there are not so many visitors when I arrived on friday. However the number start to increase on Saturday. I must say that this hotel have a good breakfast buffet free of course to the guest. Lunch and dinner however is not free but around RM80 for the buffet. Overall service is friendly and speed is average.

My stay was amazing. Everything was great especially the house keeping was always on time and fulfill all our demands efficiently. It was a great experience i would really suggest others to come and visit this place. We already staying in room 230.

Their services are to the point. Even if there were other options I would still opt for Movenpick. Specially because of their lobby area and definitely their spa and health club facilities and the staff working in their respective fields. The swimming is amazingly clean and they've sauna, steam, jacuzzi and a cold bath which by the way is only one in the country.

4 rating out of 5. Overall experience was good but room service wasn't up to the mark. The bed was broken, I had to call them twice, after 2 hours they appear to fix the bed. Guest isn't treated with personal care (hospitality level a very low) if I compare them with other hotels. Maybe they were overcrowded that day or they were trying to tell us that you are in a big hotel............

It was a comfortable stay here overall. Room condition: 3/5 Its old building probably, but considering this is one of the best hotels in Karachi, i was expecting more, it to be modern and digital. Room amenities: 3/5 Room had basic amenities except Iron, we had to call room service each time for it and it was provided within 30mins on avg. Food: 5/5 The best thing here was food. Top notch, tasty and well served. Room service: 4/5 Bed sheets were changed on request only even after placing the card on bed. Wash room accessories were replaced almost daily. But, laundry was pretty complicated, with next day service and no bin to place it. Facilities: 4/5 The spa is amazing, Sauna, steam and jacuzzi, gym they have everything. But, the pool was not operational throughout. Overall: 4/5 Had a good experience overall. But they can still make it slightly better for 5 star. Key points: Breakfast timings are long, 6 to 1030. Use cards for bedsheet replacement. Request for basic amenities in advance and laundry service. Mail is allowed, but scanned.

This is a beautiful hotel! It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. After a long tireful travel or stressfull day, coming back to this room was very peaceful.Staff is always friendly. Have never had a bad experience and it’s right in the heart of city.

I stayed with my family here for 13 nights. This hotel has wonderful staff. From security to room service to restaurants to in room dining everything is wonderful. There are 5 restaurants....Pakistani, Kabobjee, Fanos, buhistan, and Chinese restaurant. Morning breakfast was very good. A convenient bakery and a leather gift shop is very good. Evening musical performance 6 nights a week. Enjoyed some wonderful performances by local artists. In room service Dept Mr M. Iqbal (Supervisor) and room attendant Shabbir Hussain were very helpful. Laundry services were very much appreciated by wife and kids. Everyone at front desk was very courteous. Foreign exchange was available conveniently at front desk but little expensive. One thing I really noticed was staff was well trained in customer service. During my visit I paid several visits to front desk and notices some really rude and rowdy guests who were misbehaving but staff were very patient and dealt with them with professional courtesy. Customer service can be improved if staff is always on full capacity but I think it was due to covid staffing problems. Security is tight but can be improved if car parking is improved. But in all this hotel provides best hospitality experience in Karachi. Thank you to everyone at Movenpick and congrats to management. Job welldone guys.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Karachi! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff . The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience.

Room was alright. Could have done better in terms of cleanliness but couldn't complain much. Buffet breakfast was very good both in terms of variety and taste. I was however heavily disappointed by the food taste otherwise. Had room service once and ate at their Fanoos cafe - food was bland and seemed dry.

The room makeup service was excellent . However, the check in and check out experience was horrible . The whole team of check in crew is incompetent and are unable to perform under pressure , hence rushing customers . I personally had a bad experience due to mid communication from the staff . I was communicate that I paid up everything up front instead I was told the the breakfast bill was not included in the bill and I had to pay 50,000 rupees extra . The manager could have resolve in this in this in a better giving us different options hence he just asked us to pay and told us that you are staying at a big hotel you should have this kind of money .Lack of professionalism , knowledge about details is best how I can describe the check in and check out experience .

I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and would recommend it for a number of reasons. Starting with the very genuinely pleasant staff on check in, accommodating and positive. The rooms are all upgraded that makes a major difference, good water pressure, strong internet and comfortable. The food now leads with the Pakistani restaurant on the mezzanine floor, brilliant service and extraordinary food full of flavor. This to me is a main attraction and is highly recommended from the manager to all of the servers. A great experience to say the least. I will definitely be back again.

I booked room for my friend’s first night and they had an absolutely wonderful experience. I asked them to decorate their room with fresh flowers and undoubtedly they did an excellent job. They made it so tremendously beautiful and special for them the room was spacious and they served with a complimentary Cake too all credit goes to their Receptionist who was super friendly and welcoming. The process, from ordering to receiving the cake, was easy and the staff was super friendly. 💗 Even the cake was worth the price. It was super soft, just how it should be. Upon check in when I entered my room I was surprised to see I was given a twin room, despite having booked a king room and no prior warning or explanation given by the reception. When I complained I was told there were no king rooms available as they had been given to ‘walk in guests’. I explained how this made no sense whatsoever as I had specifically booked a king room two months in advance so how they had none available was beyond me. I waited for around one hour after which the manager offered me a duplex room, when I went to view the room it was a very long walk which due to health reasons would be an issue for me therefore they offered me one closer. The next morning I discovered that there was no hot water in the shower of this room and once the engineer arrived he explained it was a big job and that I would need to change rooms. I had to re-pack all my bags and move rooms once again. I was told the duplex rooms were an ‘upgrade’ but please avoid these at all costs it’s like going back in time to the 70s. This is not the level of service you would expect from a supposedly 5* hotel and I think the hotel should reconsider their rating so that customers aren’t deceived into thinking they will receive a good service. The hotel also has issues with you bringing outside food in and therefore are forced to eat the awful food available inside the hotel restaurants, all of which are badly reviewed on Google. The hotel also created a scene when I wanted to take in an ornamental chess board which I was gifted because apparently ‘games aren’t allowed in the hotel’. I’m not sure what kind of hotel this is, but they seem to have many peculiar rules that I’ve never heard of in any other hotel. I stayed in this hotel in September of this year for a business trip with colleagues and the service was much better, however after this I will be telling my company to avoid this hotel at all costs. The housekeeping staff and guest services are excellent, but everything else needs major improvement.

Had the extreme pleasure of staying in this fantastic 5* hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and safe. Checking in and out went smoothly and all credit goes to the reception staff. I cannot fault this hotel from housekeeping to dining. Above all I would highly recommend this hotel for all foreigners.

The housekeeping staff was excellent especially madam shameem from house keeping. Reception services were also good. Polite and quick in processing There was problem with the shower leakage but it was fixed immediately upon information guest services. Overall a comfortable and great staying here

The staff at the hotel is helpful and friendly. Big smiles and a positive vibe overall. ✨️ The food, cleanliness and other things were excellent too. The only thing that was a hassle was their emergency response. An in house ambulance to take the patients to the hospital could work wonders specially when their doctor is off duty!

I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and would recommend it for a number of reasons. Starting with the very genuinely pleasant staff on check in, accommodating and positive. I stayed here for 3 nights. It was very average. Hotel lobby is nice, but rooms are average and over priced in my opinion. Bathroom showers didn’t have hot water for one of the nights. The shower in the “executive” floor wasn’t working properly so I’m going to assume rest of the floors were similar if not worse. Staff didn’t very little to accommodate us. Didn’t even bother to hear our feedback after we checked out, simply told me to write a review. Very unprofessional and not customer centric. Would not recommend this place if you’re new and visiting town.

I had a three day stay, the room was prepared perfectly for us, bed making in excellent shape, impeccable decoration, fresh towels , bathroom properly maintained, the house keeping was excellent, extremely helpful and friendly. Floor in charge Iqbal Noor and room attendant shabir were on top of everything and made sure our stay was comfortable. I plan to bring my family here again for sure.

This atmospheric of the Pakistani restaurant is in very good place.The food was delicious, but the best part about it was presentation. A lot of effort and care has gone into developing the perfect balance between taste and appearance, every dish seems like a piece of art on it’s own. Had iftar buffet dinner at the pool side , overall experience with the ambiance and the service was fine, but the food didn't live up to the standard i was expecting from a prestigious hotel. Quality and the taste was plain average. Altogether i was a bit disappointed. Service was good , people were really nice specially the guards at the gate. They have adequate parking space for cars and bikes. Valet parking is available.

The staff working at reception were so bad that i can not even describe. They charged 3 rooms with different amount of money despite our warnings, told us that the reason was currency differences. In the end they asked for more money and told us that there was mistake. I am not even telling how dirty room was nor huge mucus smudged on wall next to my bed. Please, keep up with world standards and learn from your mistakes. At least check the utilities of room whether they are working or not. Apart from these horrible experiences, it is well guarded fortress if that is what you are looking for.

Overall facilities great. First time in my life I get too many bells rang in a day to offer room service, very distracting.They had some renovation work going on so it was noisy til 9-10pm and through the weekend as well.Staff not very helpful when it comes to addressing complaints,my door wasn’t working for 2 days straight had to go up and down many times to get help and they smirked as if I don’t know how to operate the door,took them long enough to help as well. Restaurants staff were friendly and helpful.

Never knew this place existed as Sheraton was in its place when I left Pskistan for United States. I have stayed in Karachi Sheraton multiple times. Coming back from United States after 22 years lost the geographic sense of Karachi because all the new high rises. Great hotel. I would rate it much higher then Karachi Marriott and Pearl Continental Karachi.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Movenpick Hotel in Karachi, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience largely due to the outstanding customer service provided by Mr. Faisal Rana, the Front Office Manager. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Faisal went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Despite our late arrival at 2 am, he had our room ready, and the check-in process was seamless. Had a very good experience at the hotel. We had an infant with us so the supervisor provided us with toys, cot, bather and stuff to make it easier for us. I loved the hotel. The stay was perfect however the music arrangement in lobby is terrible. Hotel management need to review speakers arrangement in lobby. During the musical program it is extremely painful to sit in lobby. No one can talk to each other.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Movenpick Karachi Hotel, and I was extremely impressed. The hotel is located in a central location, making it easy to get around the city. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I particularly enjoyed the hotel's breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of Pakistani and international dishes. The hotel also has several excellent restaurants, including a Lebanese restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, and an Italian restaurant. I also appreciated the hotel's amenities, such as the outdoor pool, the gym, and the tennis court. I had a great time relaxing by the pool and working out in the gym. Particularly Mr.Majeed did great room service. However there is no way to get fresh air in rooms and corridors as the windows and balconies are closed with glass.

Overall it’s an amazing experience, I have been frequent visitor and found hotel staff courteous especially people from house keeping, restaurants staff etc they also have a nice gym. spa facility and their staff is also welcoming and helpful. However, some time there is challenge with rooms it’s self like AC noise , CARPETS ETC.

The wash room needs to be upgraded. Hair dryer was not working despite I was staying in Executive Room. Ambience is very good, especially of lobby, staff looks courteous. Special mention for Anila, GRO who is very courteous, very forth coming and has a congenial attitude towards guests. Saw her following her work diligently when front desk was buried.

I was given room 234 and its card wasn't working in which led to delays. I had to returned to the reception and ask them to again issue new card. Beed sheet was not clean and although there was two beds available and I utilize the other one.

Bedroom was spacious, Bathroom was great. The jacuzzi, steam bath, sauna etc were good. The spa services were really good. Swimming pool was also available for free but swimming without swimsuit wasn't allowed & they don't provide any swim-shorts (sadly). Room had a safe-locker & a fridge. U can also ask them to heat ur food for you. The TV had a lot of channels but didn't have Netflix & couldn't cast (screen mirror) from my mobile or PC. There was no wall clock in the room, which was disappointing. Room service wasn't as quick as would have liked but was good.
