    I recently went to the Gurnee location of USA Vein Clinics to have my veins scanned, and I made my treatment appointments months in advance.But a week later, I got a text message that told me there was "good news" about my upcoming appointment.Confounded, I called the clinic and was redirected to another location, where I was informed that my appointments needed to be rescheduled due to the Gurnee clinic's impending closure. I was upset that the clinic had first taken me as a patient even though they were about to close. I was also annoyed that I found out about this change through a text message instead of a personal phone call. I think you should get treatment for your veins at Vein Specialists of Illinois in Lake Zurich to avoid having the same problems.

    Now called USA Vein Clinics, they have put processes in place that make no sense for the customer. First, you cannot call the office you visit directly. I had to drive to the office to ask them question about how much something would cost, as no one at the general phone line could answer it. Then, when I called to reschedule an appointment, not only did they reschedule it, but they then automatically scheduled a whole bunch of follow-up appointments, without regard for my previous treatment plan or my schedule. I had to call to cancel all those appointments and was given a hard time for doing so. Plus, I still don’t know that my original appointment was rescheduled, as I have received no confirm of that appointment alone. The ONLY reason this place isn’t receiving fewer stars is because the people at the office are wonderful. They’re friendly and informative and do a great job.

    If I could give them less than one star I would. Two weeks ago I showed up for a scheduled appointment and they said they're having scheduling issues and did not have room for me so I would have to come back. Went back today for the rescheduled appointment and the door was locked and no one was there. There were three of us waiting in the hallway. Shame on them for wasting other peoples time, money etc. Would not recommend them to anyone! Update following comment from owner: I called a third time and was promised an appointment last week. When I showed up - FOR THE THIRD TIME - the receptionist told me they were so overbooked they had no room for me. That was after I received two confirmation calls the day before from your representative. He assured me I would be seen the next day. Unbelievable. I don’t know how you can defend this.

    I have to say my experience has been Awesome.... Everyone is Amazing and friendly. I was so nervous and Dr. Humphry explained everything even though it was explained a million times(😊)I literally felt NO pain. Thank you for making my experience Great and accommodating my needs. I highly recommend.

    VCA is well staffed with pleasant staff. The routine is clear, and the workers explain what they are doing. My leg which has had 2 ablations feels a little better than the untreated leg. I do have big black and blue bruises, but they are not bothering me. So far, I am hoping that these treatments will cure my restless legs and the evening swelling and aching. So far, no complaints.

    I was extremely nervous and worried about pain, but the procedures are nearly painless. And they are quick! What I thought was going to take an hour only took 10 minutes! There's really nothing to fear, and if it's for your health, I recommend it highly!

    Super friendly and informative from day one. Each visit I felt like I was their only patient for the day. Very professional. ALWAYS on time with their appointments. I'm soooooo happy with my legs, although I'm still in the healing stages. Already improved swelling and less pain. Can't wait to show them off this summer. No more ugly bulging, painful varicose veins. Thank you Dr H and your great staff!

    Would give 0 stars but it’s not an option. They cancel all of your appointments last minute after your first one to get you locked in. They take over a month to release your records. And the real kicker is when your bills have been fully paid by your insurance they still try to scam you for more money than they are owed and will harass you none stop. They really try to scam the elderly. Would never recommend to anyone leaving the review on behalf of my grandmother.

    Scheduling is awful. First visit, five customers left due to waiting times and over scheduling. Second visit we had to wait over 1 hour. Called their customer service to complain on the way they set up their appointments. Going to finish the treatments that are scheduled but if more are needed I will look for another facility. Not satisfied with the system they have.

    My grandmother started her treatment here, but then they got a new doctor in the office and canceled on her 4-5 times in a row. She tried to switch locations and they would not assist her with that. She has found a new place to receive treatment, but now she is being harassed by USA Vein-- she is getting up to 8 phone calls a day asking her about payment that has already been covered by her insurance. She has talked to her insurance about this at least twice and repeatedly given the clinic her policy information, and the phone calls continue. My aunt has reached out on her behalf to no avail. Avoid this place.

    I have had my treatment plan canceled last minute 4 times! They keep saying the clinic is going to be closed that day that my treatment is supposed to start. Okay, well then stop scheduling if you're going to be closed. I don't know if I'll ever actually get to keep an appointment beyond my initial one for a scan. It is a large company, you never talk to the same person twice, and extremely disorganized. I'm looking for another provider. If they ever actually keep an appointment, I'll update my review. If not, then they were just never able to actually follow through with any services. Update: I finally got someone competent in their scheduling department who finally told me the reason appointments kept getting canceled is the doctor at this location left, and they didn't have a replacement yet. They got a replacement, and my appointments were finally kept. The staff is nice, it is the same people each time now. But dealing with corporate is a pain. They over schedule and you often end up waiting quite a bit. I'm now trying to go to one of my final appointments, but they said corporate did not approve my procedure. Not my insurance, their company, for an appointment that was scheduled months ago. So annoying.

    I used to be a patient at vein clinics of america and they were one of the most professional and caring doctors that did a great job . But since USA vein clinic took over it is terrible . They cannot keep there appointments right and keep trying to repeat the same procedures that were already done . The billing is a scam I made a payment in the office then tried billing me again. Had multiple conversations with themand then used my card number and charged it without permission.If you are looking to go here for services think twice about it. I would rather die then go here ever again

👍👍 Turned 40 last May. Been feeling lethargic and unmotivated in addition to weight gain. Spoke with Dr. Tack, got blood work done and went over TRT options. The next week they had my results and started the program that day. So far so good. Staff is super friendly and welcoming.
