BEWARE!!! WE WERE ROBBED!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!! WE WERE ROBBED BY THE EMPLOYEES OF THE HOTEL WHILE SIGHT SEEING IN PARIS!!!! OUR CHILDRENS' PASSPORTS AND 400 EUROS WERE STOLEN. WE INFORMED THE FRONT DESK AND THE MANAGEMENT DID NOT WANT TO HELP US AT ALL!! THE DOOR AND THE LOCK WAS NOT BROKEN. WE CAN ONLY PRESUME THAT WHOMEVER ACCESSED THE ROOM TO CLEAN IT STOLE THE MONEY AND OUR CHILDRENS' PASSPORTS. THE MANAGEMENT REFUSED TO HELP US CONTACT THE POLICE!!! THEY IGNORED OUR PLEA FOR ASSISTANCE!! WE WERE VISITORS IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY AND THEY DELIBERATELY CHOSE TO NOT ASSIT US. I GOT INTO A SCREAMING MATCH WITH THE CONCEIRGE TO CALL THE POLICE AND FILE A REPORT, SHE REFUSED SO I STOOD IN THE LOBBY AREA AND PROCLAIMED HOW WE WERE ROBBED AND OUR CHILDRENS' PASSPORTS WERE STOLEN TO THE HOTEL GUESTS. AFTER RETURNING FROM THE POLICE STATION WHERE WE FILED A REPORT WE FOUND OUT FROM THE LATE NIGHT CONCIERGE THAT THEFT IN THIS HOTEL WAS VERY COMMON. PEOPLE COMPLAINED ABOUT BEING ROBBED OF MONEY, CAMERAS, PHONES, ELECTRONICES AND EVEN CLOTHES!! WHAT ADDS INSULT TO INJURY IS THE FACT THAT THE NEXT DAY WHEN I WALKED OUT OF THE ELEVATOR THE LADY I ARGUED WITH ABOUT CALLING THE POLICE WAS POINTING AND LAUGHING AT ME TO A FELLOW EMPLOYEE. THIS WAS ABSOLUTLY HORRIFIC!!! THE HOTEL WILL UNDOUBTEDLY WILL REFUTE THIS POST AND TRY TO SPIN A STORY, BUT THEY CAN'T HIDE THE TRUTH! THE POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND THE EMBASSY CONTACTED. THEFT IN THIS HOTEL IS PREVELANT AND UNLESS YOU VIDEO TAPE THE THEFT IT WILL GO ON UNPUNISHED. BEWARE...!!! THIS HOTEL IS A DEN OF THEIVES!!! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU PLAN TO VISIT PARIS!! *********************************************************** ***This is a response to Ms. Bruneau's reply... MADAM YOU ARE A BLATANT LIAR AND YOUR STAFF AS WELL. I requested to see you the following day, but the employees at your front desk told me you were unavailable and could not be reached. They refused to give anymore information than that. In so far as the passports, they were found the next day under the bed pillows. This was NOT where they were originally held. The passports were hidden in a closed folder on the desk with the cash that was stolen on the OTHER SIDE of the room. It was obvious to any prudent person, that the passports were returned back into the room while we were spending 6 hours at the police station and then hid them under the bed pillow to give the appearance there was an error. This is a poor excuse on your part and the employees you oversee. It is obvious that the cleaning lady returned the passports and hid them under the bed pillow while we were at the police station, to try to cover her crime. Additionally, the safe you provided in the room was not working properly. Save your empty statements for the thieves that you hire as employees. ALL YOU HAVE DONE IS PROVEN TO THE WORLD YOU ARE NOT ONLY THIEVES BUT LIARS ALSO.

The room is very spacy as much as 8 suitcases can be opened. The mattress was good but twin beds were put together. The light was good and there is a bathtub. But I'd like to leave a comment about the sanitariness. It seemed clean but there are many hairs on the floor, and a bit fruit flies. I think that's the side impact of having kitchen. Most of all, it's a competitive price!

The absolute worst hotel experience I've ever had. I arrived early after a long flight at around 11 am. Even though I was early, I was told my room would be ready by noon. It was not, then I was told that technically the reservation starts at 3 pm and to come back then. Returned at 3 pm and the room still isn't clean. The room isn't ready until 4:45pm, and the receptionist seemed annoyed that I even asked about the room being ready for a third time after an over 5 hour wait. I also overheard another man with his family yelling "menteurs!" (Liars) at another receptionist. So right away I'm thinking I'm not alone in having issues. I wasnt told anything about how the hotel works, like getting new towels, throwing out trash, etc. Since there was no room service; in the middle of the night I had to go to the receptionist to ask for toilet paper. When I get into my room, oh boy...The entire room smells of mold and was absolutely crawling with spiders and insects. Then there's the bed, it's like sleeping on cement. I woke up in pain almost every morning. I go into the coffee/breakfast room one night to grab coffee and there are flies everywhere and I'm told by staff they usually close the room at night and that "it's summer so there's lots of insects that come in". I'm sorry, but not in a properly managed hotel there aren't. Finally was able to switch hotels to a wonderful boutique hotel near Montmartre that was the same price! Avoid this place like the plague!

We've been twice at this Aparthotel, each time for 8 days. It offers exactly what we need, which is a nice and clean room with an open kitchen and a bathroom in an acceptable size. The kitchen in our current room includes a dishwasher, a normal sized refrigerator and a coffee maker (which we didn't have last year). The hotel also offers high quality coffee for free in the lounge area. It should also be mentioned, that this location of Citadines has an automatic Nutella portioning machine (!?) in the breakfast area, which seems to be a blast.

This hotel was in such a great, quiet neighborhood. Plus with a coffee machine and balcony you could not ask for more. The staff was excellent. So kind and welcoming to us and our children. I left a Chanel scarf behind on accident and was so upset, thinking I would never see it again. The staff went out of their way to locate it for me and ship it back to me in the United States! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I love Paris and the staff here made me love it even more. Thank you!

WE WERE ROBBED HERE BY THE STAFF OF THE HOTEL WHILE VISITING A MUSEUM. THEY STOLE 400 EUROS AND MY TWO CHILDREN'S PASSPORTS. WE ASKED TO SEE THE MANAGER TO REPORT THE INCIDENT. THE MANAGER AND THE FRONT DESK EMPLOYEE IGNORED US AND DID NOT WANT TO HELP. THEY WOULD NOT EVEN TELL US WHERE THE POLICE STATION WAS TO FILE A THEFT REPORT. THEY TOLD US TO "GOOGLE IT". THIS HOTEL IS A DEN OF THIEVES. WHEN WE CAME BACK FROM THE POLICE STATION WE FOUND OUT FROM THE PERSON WHO WAS WORKING THE LATE NIGHT SHIFT TOLD US THAT THEFT WAS A COMMON OCCURRENCE AT THE HOTEL . RESIDENTS COMPLAINED OF MISSING MONEY ELECTRONICS AND EVEN CLOTHES. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AS POSSIBLE....

If you do not speak French, be sure be treated like a second-class citizen by some of the staff at this hotel. This is our first 4 night stay in this particular Citadines. Although it was apparent that this was once a very nice hotel, it has been neglected. We stayed in room 714. The room was dirty with brown colored fluid stains. The bathroom ceiling light was not working. The bathroom metal trash bin had multiple dents. The baseboards were damaged and the paint was peeling off. Dishwasher was not usable because the rack was completely corroded. (See pictures posted) For our entire stay, we had to do dishes by hand. I did not ask to change the room since I disinfected the room with wipes before looking at the dishwasher. We told the staff the problems with the room at check-out. The gentleman was very apologetic and said that because I was a (Platinum) member, I would entitle some discount. However, he just started working there 2 weeks ago, so he had to consult with his colleague about the discount. When he tried explaining the situation to his colleague, his colleague (a woman with glasses) was annoyed and trying to ignore him and me. She kept talking with other French speaking guests, including the ones arrived after me. When she finally talked to me, all she said was "I am very sorry, I will note these things that you said did not work." Then, she dismissed me. She was also the rude person that I talked to when I asked for bath towels a couple of days prior. I had asked a different staff for toilet paper before and he was very polite and just handed it to me right away. However, when I asked this woman for a couple of towels, she would not give them to me and said that they would have to send them to my room. I explained that in the Saint Germain Citadines, we would just get the towels in the lobby area and asked where we would go to get the towels. She responded "here! We have them at the front desk!" Since no one else was waiting, I asked if she could just give them to me. She did, but she made it clear that she was annoyed. I am giving an extra star because the staff at check-in was friendly and they kindly honored our request.

The room was an ok room, it was -5 outside and the room was a little cold, could have another blanket, there was only one duvet. The shower is really bad 😅 very warm but it keeps moving and it’s to low. But the five stars go to the staff. Amazing, kind and friendly! Merci beaucoup.

Location is great. Many metro lines really close by. To the West ate some good places to eat and shop. To the east felt a little run down. Accommodation wad perfect for us with a separate bedroom and min kitchen. Really big room for Paris room sizes. Would stay again. Could do with a few coats of paint to freshen up the place, but very cosmetic. The place is clean.

2 adults + 2 kids - from Australia Would stay again. Clean & spacious room but I was very disappointed that the central air conditioning was turned off. The windows open, but we did not feel safe sleeping with them open. When asked they were more than happy to bring up a small fan which i was very grateful for. Staff were nice. Breakfast was nice, but a little overpriced for what's included. Good location, close to trains. Markets in the street on Sunday. Walking distance to restaurants and corner stores.

God awful service ! DO NOT STAY HERE ! Reservations for 6 people (3 rooms). 1st room for 3 people (2 adults, 1 adult) got given away ( no explanation) and had to settle for another room with single beds instead of double bed ( cot for child was not in the room despite several requests). 2nd room for 1 adult was not booked because of “problems with the system” and took almost an hour to sort out after an 8 hr drive ! STAY AWAY

Close to metro stops, location decent. Abt 20-30mins to main attractions. Unfortunately aircon wasn’t working and summer was boiling hot. Terrible nights sleep. The reception was friendly and tried to fix it.

First the cons: This hotel was probably excellent about 15 years ago. The rooms have been somewhat neglected. Floorboards, doors and walls need touching up with paint, bathtub has rust spots, grout in bathroom needs redoing. The fridge didn’t work at all upon arrival which I didn’t realize and we had to throw food away. The fridge was replaced the following day. The balcony needed cleaning. Towels are thin and could use replacing. I had called prior to arrival and asked for two rooms next to each other and was told that would work … it didn’t. While I can understand the reason why I don't understand why someone told me otherwise. I had reserved two deluxe rooms and one was large with two doors leading to a balcony that faced the street and a third window by kitchen. The other room had a smaller balcony, one window overlooking apartments and the room was smaller so beware of that if you are reserving a deluxe. Deluxe rooms came with robes ( one room came with slippers while other didn't), quality amenities in bathroom and great heated towel rack. The pros: Kitchen fully equipped. Good tv and for English speakers a few bbc channels. Bed was good as were pillows and linen. Good air conditioning. Plenty of hot water. Didn’t hear neighbors at all. When the second room was next to child crying for hours a staff member did resolve the issue. Great location. Clean. Pleasant staff. Overall the owners need to maintain and update. Beware your so called deluxe room might not be as deluxe as you think. Weighing the pros and cons I would stay here again.

Good location near to the subway station. The staff was very kind and prestative. Only issue was the bathroom that doesn't have a good isolation inside of the shower which makes the bathroom completely soaked outside after the shower.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even gave us candies for Valentines day! The rooms were spacy and comfortable. At first we were a bit scared that it would be a little far away from the centre, but it was actually really easy to travel by metro!

Whilst the location is excellent, the free coffee machine in the lobby was a nice addition - the rooms are in desperate need of updating + bathroom had mildew on grout (yuck) - the window leaked and flooded bedroom floor after a rain - paint and trim in room very scratched up - sofa had large stain on it that I had to cover with bath towel For the prices they charged - greater than 300 euros per night you would expect more Hotel needs major renovation so beware!

Very nice apartment setting with room for a family of 4. The kids slept on a sofa bed - not the greatest, but worked out fine.

Really enjoyed our long stay at Citadine Bastille. The staff are all so welcoming and very helpful. Moving to Paris in the middle of a global pandemic is not easy but the staff here made it a smooth transition. We enjoyed the facility amentities during the curfew period and often having to do classes online from the hotel so it was great to have the board rooms downstairs available to us during this time. Great location close to metro station (about a 3 min walk to Breguet Sabin metro) with local super markets and boulangers right around the corner. Theres a market only minutes away every week with fresh fruits and meats etc. The hotel is also situated in the lively and bustling neighbourhood of the 11th arrondissement so it has access to many great cafes and restaurants. About 15 minute walk to the Seine as well.

We really liked this place. Arrived early and they stored our baggage no problem. Front of desk staff were always very helpful and fixed one issue we had straight away (same day). Room was clean and spacious with lovely view onto the street. Sofa bed in our room was very comfy. Location was great with 3 metro stations close by on a well connected line, street market nearby and lots of convenient shops for clothes, food and drink. Siene river was close by and a nice walk towards Notre Dam. Convenient optional breakfast in the morning. Pleasant reception area. Things they could do better would be: 1) update the rooms as they’re a little aged 2) make breakfast more affordable. I get it, it’s Paris and food costs a lot but E200 over 4 days is a lot for what is essentially bread, yoghurt, juice and fruit. 3) better information available in the room re the local area and public transport. For example we didn’t know taxis needed to be arranged well in advance until we were leaving by which point it was too late. A notice in the room would have been helpful. Otherwise I’d definitely stay here again when I’m Paris

I'm a big fan of this place. Ideally located, the staff is very nice and solution-oriented. I'm now a regular customer of the group and wouldn't consider staying somewhere else when I'm in Paris. Some other residences in Paris are less attractive though but that's another issue:)

Great location, most staff were nice. (a few not so pleasant). enjoyed the hot tea and hot chocolate. Laundry on site-expensive but def convenient. Fair price for hotel. Kids enjoyed the couch bed that folded out into separate twin beds with a divider. Room did not look like pictures, it was old and needed a lot of tlc. Very musty smelling, possibly mold. Due to this I would not stay at this hotel again. very late check in time. we knew that, but it was rough after a long flight.

the hotel is under renovation. The construction noise is unbearable and the staff is rude and unhelpful. Though the location is good, this was a terrible experience overall.
