It was horrible experience.. The Staff were not helpful neither pleasant... They do not speak English well except for a nice lady who made our stay less horrible.... Except for the station beside the hotel no service facilities available within walking distance.. We felt like we are in the middle of nowhere... A colleague broke a mirror by accident and they charge her 150euro.. The man ager has no courtesy to see us when we asked to meet him.. We were forced to return late one night and the receptionist started shouting at us as we kept him late.. He could have conveyed the message in a nicer way instead of shouting...and we felt like we are in a school dorm

Great Locals' Hangout - Wonderful Food & Service - Reservations strongly advised We took a tram to get to this restaurant. It is conveniently located 1 minute walk from the Hürth Fischenich tram station. The restaurant opens at 5 pm, and when we arrived half an hour early, we were asked to wait. We took a walk around the block and spent some time at the Rosellenplatz, a lovely little park about 3 minutes’ walk away. We came back exactly at 5 and were seated, though, did not have a reservation. You must know that by 6 pm the place was completely packed. There were no free tables on the terrace, and it was a Tuesday. Locals with their friends and families really favor this place. We started with a chanterelle soup and a carpaccio de manzo. The soup was thick with mushroomsand very tasty; generous portions in a large bowl. The carpaccio was pretty standard, a bit overchilled, which made its texture a little watery. For the main course we ordered three chanterelle dishes. The chef used exactly the same sauce with mushrooms for each dish, so the chanterelles were prepared exactly the same. The sauce was very good, creamy and light, the mushroom portions and sizes generous. It was no problem that it was exactly the same, the taste was what mattered. The Summer Plate had chicken breast covered with the mushroom sauce, accompanied by fried potatoes and zucchini and a small salad. Chicken was nicely cooked, tender and juicy. The potatoes tasted exactly like home made and the salad was very fresh with light dressing. Two other main courses were the Veal and the Rump Steak. We asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare, it was perfectly prepared. The veal was good too, but the rump steak had more flavor. The potato croquettes that accompanied both meats were delicious, not at all oily. Service was wonderful, once we were seated the food was brought in promptly. Our waiter was very courteous and professional. A definite must visit. Would love to go back again.

Nice hotel, stayed here for 5 weeks and still did not get bored about the people and the hotel. The staff is friendly, it's close to the train station where you easily can get in to cologne. It's on the foot of a hill, and in a nice surrounding for a little hike or jog. The only thing is that it's a little noisy outside because a road and trainrail.

The restaurant can be recommended. You have a rich card, from steak to a couple of vegetarian dishes. It's a big location with an appealing atmosphere and friendly staff.

We were here for an event. Although there were no place to sit for the little concert, the owner helped us so much to find a place for us. He and other personnel were very gentle and polite. We had a very delicious dinner.
