The service is 5 stars, especially the very helpful and accommodating front office staff, Candy. This is not your usual 3-4 stars hotel. It requires some adaptation to stay here. But location is strategic office the busy streets however it is quiet at night for you to rest well. I stayed in other hotels by the streets, and my sleeping experience then was horrific. So Skyline gives a bit of good mix but not the best best you can expect. But I would recommend this for value for money and short stays, and you do a lot of time outside and not inside the room.

The hotel is in a very good location. The rooms are quite small and have no windows. Brace yourself for the power cuts that happen randomly in the middle of the night and you will be left gasping for air since there are no windows anywhere. Without AC it's impossible to stay in the room or you will have to keep the room door open all the time which is not possible. I would suggest to look at the room before deciding to stay.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. In particular, Candy at the front desk was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and even helped set up a 2 day motorbike trip on the Ha Giang loop, which was a special order. I highly recommend!

Quiet room on a side street. Great location for walking. Room 702 has a huge bed and great comfort. Super hot water. Breakfast was at a nearby roof-level hotel and was a good value.

The staff were friendly and approachable. The rooms are well furnished, albeit small in footage. The breakfast variety is somewhat limited to bread, sliced fruits and a few cooked dishes, but the made-to-order menu made up for it. Excellent choice for the price, as the hotel is a stone's throw away from a night street of sorts (think street food, cheap beer, people-watching, and a few clubs/bars). There is also a well known lake landmark a little further from the hotel (500m).

Booked 3 rooms for me and my family travelling to Hanoi from Agoda. Was denied check in after arrival, as they double booked. Was forced into a shabby hotel, which we thankfully denied. Had to roam here and there finding rooms at the last moment with all our luggage. Very inconvenient and irritating! Would suggest to avoid, and reconfirm your booking with the reception in case you choose to book.

What a brilliant experience. Nothing was too much trouble for either Cindy or Andy and they went above and beyond. The room was also lovely and spotlessly clean - our cleaner was superb too. Great breakfast, lots of useful and unbiased information. Would definitely recommend

The owner of the hotel was amazing. he helped us everytime we had a problem, even answering messages late at night. he went out of him way to give us discounts on tours and trips and was overall just a very nice person! Hopefully we will be back at some point.

Great Hotel! Exemplary service and a good time. I’d highly recommend to anyone whose traveling to Hanoi. Located right in the heart of Old Quarter and it’s super convenient. Also, Philip is the man 🫡

Great locations, photos on the website are a bit misleading. Rooms cleans and bed comfortable. We asked the manager to help us book transfer to the airport. He kept asking us to book in with him the next day. On the day we were leaving we were told he was asleep when we asked in the morning and again in the afternoon.

If I could give this place more stars, I would. The rooms were great, and it's a very clean place in a very good location. The stars all belong to the front desk staff though, every step of the way they were super helpful including refunding us on another night after we accidentally paid a bit too much for a How Long Bay trip. That wasn't their fault though, the exchange rate they were using was a bit higher than the actual rate, but they were happy to adjust straight away for us. The ladies at the front desk even left us a leaving gift. Honestly, couldn't have been happier to stay here.

The rooms are average. They have both window rooms and non-window rooms as well. Special mention to a receptionist named Hannah who helped us out in some lost and found issues. The service was good. Every receptionist we encountered were helpful and mostly the location is just perfect for Old quarter view to go to walking street and also the lake.

Absolutely lovely hotel right in the middle of Hanoi’s old quarter, so it’s also great in terms of location. The rooms are clean and well equipped, so it doesn’t matter to me that they are a bit small. The location and extremely friendly staff make up for that. It’s really near the beer street and walking street. Highly recommend this hotel for young travelers!

Skyline is one of the best stays to book at Hanoi, Centre of the city, service was 100% amazing, value for money.. Hanna was really supportive to guide us with the city, You can book cabs/near by places to visit, Complementary breakfast was good

I highly recommend this hotel. It is in a great location in old quarter, and it’s also clean and quiet. The hotel manager, Candy, was awesome. She provided great food and coffee recommendations, and she was very accessible for any issues or questions that I had.

I don’t wanna gave them even one star. How terrible hotel it is. I’ve never ever had this terrible experience. I don’t never recommend this hotel. We were made to stay in a different room that the one we booked, a card key didn’t work again and again, shower didn’t work well again and again, and electrical outlet never work. Especially customer service is terrible.

Great location. The staff are exeptional in spite the language barrier. They went out of thier way to ensure of needs are met. Highly recommended. Please note: I may have left my sun glasses either in the lobby or in my room (601). Checked out yesterday early morning. Glasses is Maui Jim with a brown hard case. This was a gift to me so I would love to get them back. Thanks...

Great location! Our room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was simply amazing. Ivy helped arrange a Halong Cruise for us during the busy Tet season and she also arranged our airport transfers and made everything so easy for us. They have great dining recommendations and are close to the lake. Breakfast is offsite but it is delicious and varies from day to day.

The recepcionist is really friendly, helpful and hardworking. I would say they are short of staff as he was pretty much the only staff member I have seen for over 24hours. Good size bedroom and bed, fairly quiet. Not far from red bridge. Stayed two nights, one of the mornings requested breakfast for 07h50 as I had a trip at 08h30 but they failed to make me the breakfast and as excused said the driver that would take me to my day trip was on his way therefore I wouldn't have time to eat breakfast. The driver never arrived until 08h45... they provided me with a breakfast on the go consisting of 2 slices of toast without any butter or jam, mini omelette, small banana and a bottle of water.

The hotel is very clean and the staffs are so friendly and professional! The hotel location is good and easy to access else where in the town! The breakfast will be served in another building nearby and the dinning area has a very good view of the city!

Probably the best service we've had on our three month trip around SEA. They were always ready to meet the expectations and go well beyond them. Definately worth the price. Clean and comfy. Also we loved the breakfast.

Had such a great stay here, the owner is very friendly, the location is perfect and the rooms are very luxurious. The bed was big and soft an the bathrooms also have a bathtub which is nice after a long day walking in Ha Noi. Also had some problems with a bus ticket I booked online and they did not show up but the owner called the company for me and within 15 minutes it was all fixed and I was able to go, next time I will just use this hotel to arrange it. Definitely recommend staying at the Skyline hotel in Ha Noi!

Stayed here first time in hanoi and the location and staff are excellent... helped us book a tour of halong bay which was also very nice.... hotel is down a lane so is also quiet while still being in the middle of old quarter were the action is... nice rooms too... I would definitely stay again if returning to hanoi.. thanks guys👏👏👍👍

Customer service is really good. Went to hotel at 1pm and asked for early check in. To my surprise, the receptionist agreed. During the waiting process, we were offered complimentary drinks. To keep us more informed about what to do at hanoi, the knowledgeable receptionist also gave us a walk through of the places of interest, things to do and recommended food. Hotel was clean and a value for money for what I have paid! If there was a bad thing, it will be the location of the hotel being in a small alley. Nonetheless, it is still easy to find and is in a good location as it is in the old quarters. For those interested in drinking, a street full of bars is located just 3 minutes walk away from the hotel. Will definitely revisit this place if I get the chance to!

We checked in for one night and decided to stay for 5. Michael, the owner, was immediately welcoming and helped us book trips around the best sites in North Vietnam and gave us brilliant recommendations for food spots in the Old Quarter. The hotel could not be located more ideally. The huon kiem lake is a 4 minute walk away and the alley in which the hotel sits is famous for its pho and other delicious foods. Another point is that the airline lost my bag and the staff at the hotel ensured that they took delivery of it when the airline delivered it the next day. We also landed on Hanoi in the morning so arrived at the hotel more than 2 hours before check in time. Michael greeted us with iced jasmine tea and invited us to go to our rooms to rest at no extra charge. As the hotel is 40 metres down an alley off a main street, the hotel is nice and quiet and you are guaranteed a peaceful night's rest. I have to say the bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept in, the AC is great and there's even cable TV in each room!! If you are planning a visit to Hanoi, must stay here. We paid £14-£15 per night (2 of us), and a bunk bed in a hostel would be £5 so it's AMAZING value.

the front desk staff is very nice and friendly but the room quality ladder is not very good and the elevator is too small but I'm glad I had a good experience in the old town

The experience was pretty good! Pros: got window for some natural lights. The location is good, easy to get access to places. Very close to Ta Hien street, but still maintains the quietness. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They let us check in early so we could get a rest (of course if they have room available). The price is affordable Cons: The room isn’t new. It gave us a feeling of dirtiness. We booked the double room with large bed, but the bed was actually 2 smaller beds put together so didn’t feel completely comfortable.

This hotel puts a very personal touch to your stay, it's staff is outstanding and i would highly recommend this hotel. Not only for the service it provides but also the warm welcome and great location it is in. You are close to the lake, visit the theater or go to beer garden. Overall a great experience. Whenever i visit Hanoi again i would go here for sure. Highly recommend this hotel, and if you see Philip say hi for me!

Location wise good but don't judge the hotel by agoda or any other apps picture. Reality is completely opposite from the pictures.

  • 5/5 Bryan L. 10 months ago on Google
This room was great price, nice, clean, and ac. Most of all though it's very quiet while in the middle of the old quarter which is a very loud highly trafficked area. Amazing location. Hana working the front desk was awesome and extremely helpful! My only complaint is no window, but the ac was fantastic so we didn't need it. Only place I will stay when I visit hanoi!

  • 5/5 Sabrina A. 10 months ago on Google
If you're planning to not spend too much time in the room a good place to get. Location is in the Heart of Hanoi, for me it was big enough, enjoyed the bathtub especially after long walks. You can be certainly suprised by how pristine and clean the rooms are. My heart fell in love with Vietnam cause of Hanna at the reception. She could speak good English and went way and beyond to assist me to get to places, always with a friendly smile, lovely conversations. Keep up the good job Hanna, thank you for making me feel welcomed. The breakfast is nice and located in another place just a 2 mins walk away. You'll never go hungry here since just less than 1 minute away you'll find really delicious Pho Beef Noodles and a little further street food everywhere....amazing.

Great hotel with very comfortable and complete private rooms. Awesome AC, comfy beds, mini fridge, well stocked private bathrooms. Located in the heart of old quarter, but on a quiet street so you get to experience hectic Hanoi and still get a great night sleep. Amazing staff, very helpful and accommodating. Great option for its price. Came back to stay a second time after a multi day tour because it was a very satisfying stay.
