Somewhere Else has legend status. Coming there for more than 10 years and this place hasn’t changed much. A refreshing constant in a fast changing world. Somewhere Else is still the spot on Long Beach where you either have a joyful stay under one of their huts or a meet and greet with likeminded people for volleyball which usually starts around 16:00. Their Som Tam is great. Happy hour lasts 2,5 hours starting at 16:30. They have higher priced concrete bungalows and cheap stays in the back. Their eggs come from their own chicken farm, the staff treated us nicely and welcoming - daily. Looking forward to come back. Thanks for the great season23 closing!

This restaurant has a great spot at the beach. Super chill vibes and volleyball court. They also serve drinks and food on the beach.

We just ended our stay at " somewhere else" bungalows. It was my second time here. And I look forward to coming again. This is a simple but cozy place Most importantly you can rely on the owner and staff 150%. They are incredible. Sincere and honest. Always willing to help. If you need anything, just ask and they will do their best. The food is fantastic and the service very good. They always make you feel at home. One of the best places for sunset drinks in Koh Lanta! Went there a few evenings to watch the sunset and have drinks. The staff were really nice and the drinks were tasty! Also has a beach volley net setup for people to play on during the day. Great vibes to the place. Definitely worth checking out.

Regarding the massage..... This review is only for massage. Worst massage ever, I think the massage-lady should focus on another occupation..... Go somewhere else for massage.

Perfect place if you want to bring your laptop, read a book or just relax in front of the beach with a fresh coconut. There is also a volleyball net right in front of it if you're feeling sporty in the evening! The food is really nice too - we liked the spicy Papaya Salad, the Larb Moo and Cashew Chicken. The owners are are always nice and welcoming. We ended up spending whole days there :)

I stayed in a bungalow at somewhere else for two nights 2 weeks ago. The owners were friendly and accommodating. They gave us tips about the area and helped us book a mini bus to Malaysia. It’s right on the beach with beautiful views outside your bungalow.

We stayed here for 5 nights and we loved every second of it! The food is nice, the staff is so kind, the atmosphere is so good! We will come back for sure.. Thank you for a great time!

Great to be back on the beach at "Somewhere Else" tasty food, cold beer and great service. Nice warm welcome by family staff members. Beach volleyball in the afternoon, awesome sunset views. We relaxed under the shalas all day enjoying the fun atmosohere.

Stayed here for 3 nights in one of the ac rooms. Great value beautiful spot on the beach. We also ate here and the Thai food was fantastic. All was very well priced. They also have a place where you can rent SUPs they were great fun and again very well priced.

Best place in koh Lanta!!! Stayed in the simple bungalow for almost 4 weeks and had the best time. Sat for hours everyday on the spot that is viewing the beach, ate great food and drank lots of banana smoothies. Dang and the staff are so kind and talking great english. The only volleyball net in the area is here, and people come every afternoon playing next to the sunset. Also renting scooters in the best prices in the area. The coffee here is a bit expensive, so there is also the great 'Aleena' minimart 2 minutes walk that has amazing coffee and incredible diverse menu and food.

One of the best beaches in Thailand. With great food. hospitality money can find in the the western coast. With pristine white sand and clear water.

Delicious food and fantastic service at great prices. Somewhere Else caters for your every wish, even if it's not on the menu... Great beachside location with platforms in the shade and child-friendly... their hammocks could do with being replaced however, as they had gaping holes, hence only 4 stars

Very good place right next to the beach. I think it is a family business run by Mr.Deng and his family members. The price overall is affordable and they are very friendly. If you need any tourist advices the owner is willing to help. Will come back again if possible :)

Hanging out in one of SE's salas is easily one of my favorite things to do on Lanta. Try the mega salad naan with xtra garlic, delish!

Such a nice place running by wonderful family. We stayed for 3 nights in a bungalow, almost on the beach for very small money. The prices at the restaurant are very good and the food very tasty, we loved this place! Once coming back to Koh Lanta, we will definately return to this place!
