This place is a MUST STAY. Service is excellent, from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave you are very well taken care of. The included dinner and breakfast was pretty spectacular. Both meals were 8+ courses easy and it was nice to see and experience a traditional Japanese meal.

I have not actually stayed here so am giving a neutral review. I just wanted to note for any hapless visitors the baths are NOT open to the public anymore. So don't get your hopes up and make the hike, ha.

Extremely friendly, professional and amazing cuisine. They were very welcoming and willing to speak and talk to us even though there was a language barrier. It was an amazing experience and I would definitely return if I visited Hakone again.

This is one of the best hotels to stay at in Hakone. We were this hotel for 1 night. We were taken very good care of from the time of check-in. The service provided is extraordinary. Included with the stay are a 12 course Kaiseki dinner and a deluxe breakfast. Not need to say that the hotspring is great. They also offer individual spa room for a fee if you want to avoid getting in the hotspring the with others. The only down sides are no spa option in the hotel room and no mount Fuji view from the hotel.
