Cute, 2D cafe in the heart of downtown Halifax. The bright interior with black and white 2D finish takes your brain on a ride and your eyes move about the rooms. Some displays are great for photo ops. The owners were very pleasant and eager to share information about their products. I had a steamed coconut bun with hot chocolate and it was very tasty. Definitely a family-friendly Cafe with lots of charm and worth dropping in if you're in the city.

Cutest coffee shop. Best London Fog I have had in a long time and the steamed purple yam biscuit was AMAZING. I will definitely be going back!

Xena’s a great place to go to! Cheap prices of pastries but the taste are so good it is worth to go! They specialize mainly UBE products. Filipino Pastries. Must try their desserts, Pulled Pork Sandwich and mostly the STEAMED BUNS. I was not able to take photo. The buns just went straight to my tummy cause its so delicious! Customer service are the best too. The owners are very handson and they will really take time to explain each products. Best place to study and go on a date with friends. Cheers to the success! Till next time Xena’s

It's an interesting cafe with unique mural style theme inside. Wonderful place to hang out with friends and pleasantly astonishing menu. Excellent staff who are always eager to help and describe any question that you may have regarding buns, cakes etc. Just the right amount or sugar in the desserts here which will call all customers back to the cafe time and again. This was the best part for us. Coconut bun was delicious!

Already loved the place bec of the creative atmosphere and how Filipino culture is integrated. My favourite has been the spanish bread but I tried the chocolate bread today. I ate it a day late but it was still sooo good! I have been looking for the same bread for years now because I was missing Sophia’s chocolate bread from Cebu. Thanks for the great food and service!

We popped in for a drink while we were waiting for our airport taxi to pick us up. What a cool cafe. They call it 2D and it certainly was well thought out and designed. Service was friendly. Our drinks were awesome. Wish we had tried some food. Next time XENAs.

It was our first time there though we've heard of them for sometime now. My wife and I were looking for a cozy place to have a bite and chitchat time while in downtown Halifax and while we were driving, my wife saw Xena's so off we went. We were there around 1pm and we were able to grab the All-u-can-eat breakfast for less than $20/person. That's a very reasonable price for a very cozy café. The breakfast menu they had wasn't bad at all, but not the best, either. For that price, i can't complain at all. It's buffet and coffee was unlimited, so, yeah, I'm absolutely fine with that. Being Filipinos ourselves, we love the Philippines inspired theme of the place but with a contemporary artsy twist. The white walls with monotone black murals added sophistication and brightness. And its corner location adds great ambiance and openness, not cramp and claustrophobic even if the place isn't really that big. And to top it all, the owners spent time chatting with us. I always love it when the owners take extra time chatting with customers regardless of their busy schedule. I see bright future to this cafè and to these lovely young owners. We will be back, for sure!

This is a great spot in downtown Halifax with a diverse menu, great workers and a bright and spacious sitting area. The Vietnamese coffee and coconut filled pastry were so appetizing that I totally forgot to take a picture as I dove right in when I got it. Next time I'll take pictures of the food!

such friendly and welcoming staff! the ube dalgona coffee is so good, as is the siopao (steamed buns). i love how there's new baked goods each time i've been, so it's a surprise every visit.

Everything I get from here is amazing. Chai latte, pulled pork sandwich, buns, there’s no way to pick a favourite here. If you haven’t tried this yet, it’s a must

Ordered some danishes and croissants and they are all delicious! My friends and family loved it so much! The cafe ambiance are perfect for someone who wants to eat tasty, delicious but cheap pastries. The staff and the owners customer service to is 5+ star! When you travel halifax stop by this cafe. The 2d design about philippines and canada made with whole bunch of sharpee!

Some of the best Filipino food in Canada! All their baked goods are exquisite and well-priced, and their drinks never disappoint. The service is some of the best around, and the atmosphere is good for those looking for a quiet place to work, or to be with friends (depending on the time of day). Great food and great people!

Cute little cafe tucked around the corner near downtown halifax. The ambiance is nice and the food was good, especially the pork steam buns. I was hoping they offer more drink selections for customers that are not avid coffee lover.
