The absolute BEST brunch / breakfast I’ve had in the city. Such an adorable spot, amazing food quality, fair prices, and wonderful staff. An instant favourite❤️

This is the new jewel on the Halifax coffee scene. No surprise, since they hired the best manager in town, and every aspect of this café reflects an attention to detail that sets a new standard for other places. Cozy decor? Check. Scrumptious patries freshly baked on-site? Check. Perfectly calibrated espresso machine? Well-trained operators? Check, check. Nothing is left to chance, and it makes for the most ideal experience of enjoying a delicious coffee on a cold winter's day. Amazing work!

We stopped for a quick breakfast en route to the Keith’s brewery tour, and definitely was disappointed compared to its high review scores and other breakfast spots. We got a breakfast sandwich (on bagel) and a separate bagel with bacon. The sandwich was nice and had fresh ingredients, but wasn’t toasted (or warmed sufficiently), and cheese was cold/hard. The separate bagel was also minutely warm, so just tasted doughy. In addition to forgetting the order and coffee being nothing special, it wasn’t a breakfast experience worth repeating. We’ve had lots of delicious locally sourced breakfasts in Halifax, so I’d recommend elsewhere.

Great breakfast spot! Probably the best London fog I’ve ever had - amazing if you love a more floral flavour. Breakfast sandwich and Montreal bagel BLT were delicious. Staff were so friendly and the place has all the cute vibes. Also took some scones to go and they were mouth watering good!

The best Cafe in Halifax. Great ambient, tasty food, well done coffee. I’d suggest to go on a Saturday morning to enjoy a great coffee and jump into the Brewery Market. Best food choices are the Gryuere&Thyme Scone, the Bacon&Cheese quiche, and the Chocolate Salted Cookie! Love love love. The kitchen manager, Fernanda, has angels hands! Everything she makes is AMAZING!

What a relaxing place with cool playlists. Kate from Terra has created the finest autumn beverage for sale here. Probably the best pumpkin spice latte in downtown if not all of Halifax

Dropped in for a coffee and some sweets with a friend today and was pleasantly surprised. Coffee was on-par with most of the higher end Cafes in Halifax, and the sweets were devine. The Cafe was clean and had room for us to sit! All of the staff members I interacted with were friendly and helpful! I'll definitely be back

Cute decor, tasty coffee, great service! While the food tasted good, the breakfast sandwhich was a little too large to bite into and led to a messy breakfast... more like a breakfast salad.

Super aesthetic inside and the barista was very friendly. Chai and matcha lattes were pretty tasty, and I'd say it's honestly a tiny bit cheaper than a lot of other coffee shops at this point. Definitely gotta come back to try all the pastries they had.

I first visited Terra Cafe this year and it has quickly become a favourite! I always find an excuse to stop in when in downtown Halifax. Their food and drink are delicious - some favourites include their London Fog tea latte, iced mocha, breakfast sandwich, and any baked good. My partner and I were without power today following hurricane Fiona and were able to stop in and get some hot drinks and food. Thanks to the staff for being there today!!

It's a decent small cafe with a limited menu. The service was fine, but the tables need to be better prepared. There are no tissues available unless you ask for it. I ordered breakfast sandwich. It was tasty but small for the proce charged, and I strongly suggest that they change the form in which it is served. Have a burger style sandwich is not very appropriate fir something which is called breakfast.

Nice but overpriced for small portions. I had gluten-free avocado toast and it was small. I order avocado toast at other places in the city like Dilly Dally and feel the portions are more reasonable. Also was confused that they put half an egg on my avocado toast. Why not the whole egg? Cute spot but doesn't have me running back. (will say a friend went by and had a regular bread, not gluten-free, and was also disappointed in the price & portion size.)

Such a cozy and quiet little cafe right by the boardwalk and nestled in the historic Alexander Kieth Brewery area. The coffee and food was absolutely delicious. (The Montreal BLT Bagel is a must)

When I left Toronto to visit Halifax I certainly did not expect to have the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had, yet here we are. P.s.: this review was meant to be about having the best lemon scone I’ve ever had, but they pulled a fast one with the sandwich…

Wanted a quick coffee and pastry for my walk by the waterfront and grabbed their lemon scone as per the baristas recommendation! Best lemon scone I’ve had probably in my life!

This is a coffee only review… We recently spent a Week in Halifax and tried a few different coffee spots trying to find one that was “return worthy”. Terra earned the title! I love deep, rich coffee that is best enjoyed black and my hubby prefers something a little lighter that he kicks up with a little cream and raw sugar…Terra hit the marks! Thank you Terra for the awesome coffee…we will visit (multiple times) again!

Terra is a great cafe! Their drinks are excellent and food tastes fantastic. I had their bagel BLT sandwich recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't stopped by already! Saturday mornings are a great time to go because you can also check out the farmers market.
