I treated myself to a full day of pampering. I was Interlude at 9 on the dot… Here is my take. They were ready and waiting for me. I had gotten a spa pass for the Muir which was accessed through the spa, through connecting doors and stairs to the second floor to the wellness area. I was provided with a soft robe, sandals and a cloth bag and guided to the bathroom to change. The bathroom at the Muir is fully equip with lockers and everything you need to get ready if you have an engagement afterwards. There is also a station with water. The space is a version of a Nortic circuit. Infrared sauna, a cold plunge, warm relaxing pool, eucalyptus room and salt room. I couldn’t use the last two rooms and the pool seemed to have jets but I didn’t know how to activate them… My next step was a radian facial, Kelly took care if me and the facial was great. Then I had a delicious deep tissue massage with Shannon. And finished the day getting a haircut, colour and styling with Becca who mixed the best work-safe wannabe purple. Last kudos to Elena and the booking team who managed to squeeze all the services in a good timeline, my schedule was a serious constraint. Everyone were great, the space is beautiful both the wellness area and the spa. The things I would pay more attention at: - Communication: I wish there was a phone or some way to connect with the staff while at the wellness area in case you needed something. - I felt lost in how to access some of the amenities and how to move through the space. - Sadly the salt room was by appointment only which I wasn’t aware of. And the eucalyptus room was out of order. With this and all I will definitely repeat my visit. It was a proper day off.

The spa services were incredible - my massage was wonderful and Sarah was amazing. My mom and aunt had pedicures and they both said it was fabulous (and they both fell asleep because it was so relaxing). We all paid the extra money to have access to the pool, sauna, and steam room and it was not worth the money at all. The pictures make it look a lot larger than it is. The eucalyptus steam room was broken while we were there and that was one of the main reasons we paid for the extra time in that area of the spa, so that was disappointing. 5 stars for the spa services but deducting 1 star for the disappointing pool/vitality spa area.

Shout out to Brittany Billard at Interlude Halifax for giving me the most beautiful bridal up-do I have ever seen! I am beyond thrilled. She knocked it out of the park! Also, shout out to Cariss Allen for the amazing bridal makeup, mani, and pedi. She did a stellar job and made me feel so relaxed before and on my big day! I’ll definitely be returning to Interlude Spa Halifax.

UPDATE since a less than pleasant experience. Kiara, management, connected with me to turned what was an unsual experience to a positive Thank you. Will continue to rave about their treatments: massage, and facial.

Went to Halifax for my birthday and really wanted a relaxing day; thanks to Emma we got a last minute reservation, great customer service. I got my nails done by the amazing Breagh, she made me feel very comfortable and did an amazing job!! After, we did the 1 hour at the Muir Spa. Thank you ladies for the lovely experience.

Couldn’t get the colour I wanted. Kept telling me that my regular stylist was using a permanent colour and not the Demi as she has told me. Wrong. I came out of the salon with 3 different colours of hair. Not pleased at all Should have waited for my regular stylists visit next week. My children gave me a gift card for Mothers Day. Between this visit and my last visit at the Dartmouth location where my pedicure turned out to be a dud and all of The polish came off in 2 days I spent the entire 240 on nothing. So disappointed And typical. I see they responded to all favourable reviews but no response for anyone else

Anthony did a fanatstic job with my hair colour. The colour correction which he did for me is very impressive, he fixed the horrid hair colouring that was done on my hair at another hair salon. The new hair colour is beautiful and I love it. I definitely recommend Anthony; he is very talented and knowledgeable.

Anthony is awesome. It's so hard to find a professional these days. He just enjoys his work, knows his stuff and treats clients well. I went for a haircut and left with a great new look and a lot of tips on haircare. Unlike other salons, he didn't try to upsell me with the tips and, he charged me for just a cut. I didn't get a blow-dry and I've been to salons where they charge you for it anyways. Definitely recommend going to this salon and asking for Anthony. You're in good hands, literally and metaphorically.

Brittany does amazing work! She is so diligent and thorough with my hair and it always turns out incredible. The rest of the staff are also very friendly and helpful but Brittany goes above and beyond every time.

Really beautiful spa. Services alcoholic drinks at good prices if you want to level up. I had a pedicure and it was divine. Great atmosphere and service. Will be going back

I took my daughter here twice and everytime we've had lovely non-judgemental, friendly and fast service. The amenities are beautiful and the services were fantastic. The estheticians connected with us and catered to our individual needs. I’ve been to many spas and left less than satisfied, but here the experience is worth the price and parking. Thank you Interlude Staff!

Anthony was friendly and gave me a great cut and style! He also checked in throughout the process to make sure I liked what I saw. Cariss did a great job with my makeup, she asked a lot of questions to determine what I wanted and she also checked in throughout the process to make sure everything looked as I wanted. She was also very nice and friendly.

I've enjoyed several services at Interlude, including a massage, mani/pedi and a haircut. All of the staff are talented, competent and kind! Scarlett gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever experienced, and the pedicure was bar none. The facility is gorgeous and clean, and just makes you feel at rest.

The best manicure and pedicure experience I’ve ever had! The front desk ladies were warm and attentive when I arrived and afterwards as well. Kirbie was fantastic and friendly. The whole experience was so relaxing and pampering. I won’t go anywhere else now!

My boyfriend and I did a couple massage and decided to extend our visit to use their spa facilities. The massage was top knotch. Super relaxing. I almost fell asleep from how relaxed I got. We definitely will be back!

A great experience for a weekend getaway The staff were very attentive and friendly. Emma helped me with my reservation last minute, it was my sisters birthday. The pedicure was great and relaxing. The Pool and sauna were excellent as well. I will recommended a 1000%. Thank you.
