HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Went to Spirit for a manicure. The staff were very warm and welcoming. My manicurist was very professional and took her time with my manicure. The spa itself was very clean and well maintained. Nice lounge area for guests to wait, with beverages and snacks. Will definitely come back again!

I see Jeni for my facial waxing and brow tinting and she is amazing. She has such attention to detail. And she is so personable! I followed her from her previous salon and am glad I did. The other staff I have met are friendly, helpful and professional, just like Jeni.

What I love most about Spirit Spa is their amazing staff. I have had hair cuts, facials, mani and pedis and the team is always so knowledgeable and good at what they do. Shout out to Christine Fader who is a true skin genius - love her facials.

Horrible experience! I went for a consultation on Electrolysis and the girl who was supposed to look after it (Katie) completely forgot about the appointment. I waited around 25 min until the receptionist came and checked on me to see why I was still sitting there and was really sorry about the whole experience which I was mad but I said “things happen” we just rescheduled as Katie was already looking after another client . Next day I come in, this time with a consultation (15 min) plus 30 minutes extra for the actual treatment, which did happen on time, but the same lady just seemed like she didn’t want to help and made it seem like it was too complicated and should look for other options instead! Because we still had like 30 min of the appointment I asked her if we could do a quick facial or any other service, and she kept saying it was not possible and I had to come back and reschedule. This will be the last time I come to this location it was really just a waste of time and gas.

I go to Spirit regularly for various services and am always happy with it! The staff are friendly and professional. I like how they go above and beyond in making you feel at ease. They offer complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge area and often have brownies to go with it! The space is quite large so the rooms are private and you don't ever feel like you're on top of people when getting a mani/pedi. They recently started offering online booking which is super easy and convenient if you can't call in and the text message reminders are an awesome way to keep tabs on your appointment time. Spirit is more of an experience than just a service and I would recommend to anyone needing a little self-care!

I've always had good experience there however, cancelations on there end are becoming common with little wiggle room for alternative. I book well in advance, since I have a baby and this is the second time canceling within an hour of my appointment.

I had a few treatments by Katie today. She worked wonders on my terrible, damaged nails. The facilities are beautiful and clean, and everyone was so friendly.

Kate is truly the best massage therapist! She is incredibly skilled but it’s her professionalism, punctuality and kindness that really puts her above and beyond. I originally started seeing her for scoliosis but she noticed more issues that needed to be addressed. Over the course of 6 months I feel like a whole new person! I also see Petra for body treatments and my nails and she also does a fantastic job—another very professional aesthetician. My only negative note is I’ve never really had a great experience with their front desk staff, they’re a bit standoffish and on a couple of occasions even rude but didn’t want to give 4 stars because the service staff absolutely deserve 5 stars.

It's my first time here, it's a nice looking space with a great variety retail. I figured that I shouldn't have any doubts having a gel mani here, and it's a little more costly even than other high end spa prices, I've been to many in the down town core and have generally have stayed with one for nearly 10 years, but this night I wanted some where close to work once I got off. In the process of nipping around my cuticles and and dry skin around my nail there seems to have been new skin nips created , I have some jagged edges of dry skin and this is not common for me. In otherwards I may have been a bit over-nipped. I'm currently wearing a bandaid. The manicure and gel polish work is not any more superior that other spas near by, I'm not sure why a basic mani with gel was almost $95. At least use "Evo gel" look it up🙂 it's a healthier gel. I booked myself a birthday facial several weeks before my birthday. On the day of, someone called in sick however, the staff were able to fit me in later on in the day. The service was excellent and they even gave me a little package for my birthday. I very much appreciated the flexibility to fit me in despite the staff shortages.

I had a great experience with Jessica. Usually I avoid going to the salon as I have extremely long hair and I'm always afraid that they'll cut too much. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and the hair cut was perfect, exactly what I wanted. She's also super nice and friendly. Im very happy and definitely recommend.

Hands down the best place to treat yourself or someone you love. The best massages I have ever experienced were all here. The steam showers are a must and honestly this is the only actual Spa experience I've had in Halifax, would highly recommend the mama Mia package too for any Mama's to be .

Call to confirm appointment morning of! Made an appointment online. Yesterday receptionist from Spirit Spa called me to ask if I wanted to move up my hair appointment slot so I won't have a gap in between my eyebrows and hair. I agreed. Today when I showed up the changes were not made in the computer and the front receptionist did not apologize instead offer me to wait an hour in there waiting area until my original appointment time. Not going to waste my time or money on a spa that has poor customer service and can't apologize.

Reception staff a bit rude. I’ve been going to Spirit Spa for years. They were always nice and accommodating, but recently I haven’t had a good experience booking my services. The staff could use a bit more training in being hospitable and accommodating. I can barely make a request without being questioned or asked for justifications. Reception is the first point of contact and should give you a taste of what your upcoming spa appointment will be like, which is relaxing. I feel anything but relaxed over the phone. If anything I feel agitated.

I had a great experience getting my hair styled for prom as well as getting my nails done. The stylist and nail tech were so kind!

I had an amazing eyelash perm/tint with Niamh! She was super sweet and the results were amazing. I would absolutely return and would highly recommend Niamh. :)

i was scheduled for a massage today with Mike at 1630 and guess what they just called me at past 1pm to tell me that they were cancelling my appointment. Such a nuissance, I cancelled all my appointments today to go there. Try finding some reliable massage clinics. Very bad experience
