The soup had a very authentic and familiar taste. It took me back to my playing days in Turkey and Syria. Well, my tastebuds were on point because the soup is from Syria - and the rest of the food is from heaven. Options include but are not limited to beef, chicken, shrimp, clamari (my personal fav), varieties of rice, salads and falafel that will leave your mouth watering. It’s bright and clean, the staff feel like family and treat you like an old friend. Treat your appetite to Tareks 2!

Finally, good quality food comes to Spryfield. Tarek's Cafe 2 is no joke. It's family owned and operated, the food is delicious and it was prepared fresh. Yum. Yum. Yum.

This place is absolutely fantastic great and clean atmosphere. The food is delicious, prices are very affordable 10/10 customer service friendly workers. Definitely coming back 100% recommended. Great authentic Middle Eastern cuisine.

Wanted to take a moment to say, just how thoughtful and compassionate the owner here is. A woman was in a terrible wreck in front of his place. He came out and offered her a seat inside, gave her water and food on the house, and even check on her several times making sure she was okay. Great to see that there is kind and caring people in the world especially in the midst of chaos.I would definitely recommend this restaurant if live in Halifax! 🙂

Called in and ordered the Combo with Chicken and the Kafta Dinner to pick up and both meals were exceptional! Good portions and great tasting food. Will be recommended this place to friends. Looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu

Fast, fresh, homemade and delicious. I was given an extra grape leaf and cabbage roll to try - not too oily as some leaves can be and very tasty. Good takeout portion size - I will have enough leftover for a light lunch. Fellas working behind the counter were friendly and obviously took pride in their food. Spend the extra couple bucks, support a small business, and enjoy a meal that is better than anything you can get at Mezza.

Ate here a couple of times recently and the food is absolutely delicious. The salads are especially on point. The staff here are fantastic as well, super friendly. I have done dine in and take out, and they have both been great.
