After an unexpected cancelation, Steph really went above and beyond to make up for it. I love my haircut and it ended up being a positive experience. You can tell they're really passionate about what they do!

The entire team at Maneland provide an important resource to feel comfortable and cared for in looking how you want to look. I've been seeing Steph for my hair needs for years now and they have always provided me with a safe space as well as fulfilling my hair fantasies. I've never looked better than I have after a visit to Maneland. I really appreciate having a space like this in our community.

If you’re queer or gender non-conforming, get your hair done here. It’s hair, but it’s also soul nourishment. The stylists are very skilled and kind. They actually listen to what you ask for without trying to talk you out of something because it’s weird or gender-defiant (which has happened to me at almost every other hair salon through the years). I love Maneland so much.

When I was a kid I had a really awful hair cutting experience and I’ve been really nervous about haircuts since, but Steph made me feel very calm and completely at ease in the chair. I really liked that I was informed about what was happening every step of the way. I love that the salon is quiet and laid back, as I find most salons very intimidating as well as being sensory overloads. Will definitely be going back!

Hands down the best hair stylist in the city. Steph truly hears you, takes the time for real communication, and always does the BEST work. Unlike other salons, you aren't subjected to petty gossip and slack jaw attitude. Maneland is a class act! I don't trust my hair with anyone else anymore.

I just had a very wonderful experience with Jo. A very attentive stylist and person over all. My hair is not wild but I’ve struggled to find someone willing to except the bit of difference I like it to have. Jo fully accommodated me and excelled in the cut. Steph is a lovely person with the razor skills to back it up. Always great to hear their playlists and let them do their work. I wouldn't go anywhere else for an LGBT+ friendly undercut or dye job.
