My first and last time here for sure! I I hardly post reviews but this one I have to. I got a facial done here today as a treat for myself on my birthday. I went in with my make up on and I still had my eye makeup and all the blackheads on after the facial. No work on skin, no massage was done whatsoever. Everything was just superficial. Also, I had an extreme burning sensation from the mask which got worse with aloe Vera applied after it. Applied tinted sunscreen on top of it. I paid $120 for this experience so you don’t have to. Posting few photos of my face and the towel I used to remove this effed up facial.

Extremely disappointed. Went here for a Brazilian and was treated poorly. The receptionist was rude and racist. She did not offer me tea/coffee or even water or asked if she couple hang up my coat. Several people came in after me who were treated with utmost respect and excellent service. I tried to brush it off but the lady who did my Brazilian further ruined the experience. She rushed the appointment saying she has clients lined up, missed quite a few spots which I didn’t notice until I came back home, and kept making rude/inappropriate comments about my hair which were very hurtful. I was also overcharged for the visit; I paid about $20 over the price that was advertised (without tip). I didn’t question it at the time and quickly paid and walked out because I was so upset by the way I was treated. Never coming here again and I wouldn’t ever recommend this place to anyone, especially if you’re a person of color.

I came in about a week ago and I really didn’t like my hairstyle I found it was not what I ask for at all. The hairstyle only gave the photos I showed her about a one second look and didn’t give me the time of day to really explain what I wanted. I hate confrontation so I didn’t say anything but my bangs are in my eyes and I asked she cut them above my eyes so I don’t deal with this problem at work. She was nice and personable and did the layers nicely. But didn’t listen to me when I told her I wanted a shaggier look. I feel like she did what she wanted instead of listening to me. I asked for a very experienced cutter and specified I was picky. Im very disappointed that she didn’t give me enough time to explain what I wanted nor was she interested in looking at all my photos. I really want to find a permanent hair stylist and they journey has been a real struggle. I think she was in a rush and didn’t have time to listen because a new client was in the door waiting for her before I was finished. I still paid and tipped 15% and didn’t complain but the cut wasn’t even close my reference photos.

I have tried nearly all of the hair salons in Halifax and yet Vitality is the best one. Eileen is the most professional and talented hairstylist in Halifax. She did my blondes so beautifully without damaging my hair at all. My hair’s been so soft and exactly the tone that I wanted it to be. Even other hairstylists in different salons have been amazed by how my hair is super healthy and smooth with such a beautiful tone and color!

I look forward to coming in for relaxing appointment. The head massage hands down. Take all my stress away. Ryan does fantastic work on me I always leave feeling gorgeous.

Rae is amazing! She is so attentive and really listens and works with you to make sure your hair colour comes out just perfect every time! I have been going to her for cut and colour in the last year and she truly cares for all of her clients and my hair has always felt so great and healthy despite bleaching and gradually going lighter. Highly recommend Rae!!

Was a nice atmosphere inside and the nail techs were really lovely. Unfortunately after $400 spent, my mom’s nails peeled on the second day and they would not fix them for her before she left on vacation. Walmart nail polish to the rescue to try and hide the disaster. Will not return.

I had a lovely experience at Vitality salon. I received complimentary tea and chocolates while waiting for my appointent and my hair stylist was great. I came in not knowing what to do with my hair and she was patient in helping me decide. I bought a products before leaving which was a great deal since the Christmas combo packs are available.

The experience and the customer care at your location was fantastic. However, I had a manicure and pedicure on Tuesday for my cruise on Sunday. On Friday Two fingernails the thumb and index finger, the gel coat peeled off about 1/4 of the way from the top. I live 2 1/2 hours away from your location. We were coming into the city on Friday and when I called when the nail gel peeled she was not able to get me into just get it fixed. Now my manicure that I had done for my cruise looks terrible. Not impressed with the aftercare

Informative, down to earth, comforting, I seriously couldn’t think of one negative thing from my first experience at Vitality. I will recommend them to all I know. From the front desk staff to the woman who did my first lip flip and forehead. They know how to make your first visit a breeze! She informed me on what to expect, timelines, healing, etc. I left feeling extremely informed. And the lady at the front desk was so kind with greeting and paperwork with a genuine smile and positive attitude. Great crew there, keep up the amazing service. I will be back!

I thought the person who died my hair did amazing. But he did not know how to style hair. I could’ve done a better job… it was extremely pricey for a half a head and a blow dry.

I loved the haircut I got from vitality, I have to specifically mention my stylist Courtney Merks who gave me an amazing haircut and also she was so pleasant and gave me a great experience during the time of hair cut. Thankyou so much to the receptionist who provided me an appointment on the same day when I was just walking in to check if there was any appointments for the day 🦋

I am so happy to have found Vitality! My stylist does a fabulous job, desk staff are kind and welcoming and the environment is clean, simple, and full of light. Highly recommend.

A wonderful spa. The service (manicure) was amazing and the staff so friendly and professional. I am visiting Halifax and the staff gave me fantastic suggestions to explore their city. I will be back when I visit Halifax again.

I missed my appointment, my error, and was very lucky to be rescheduled the same day. This was done graciously and with smiles. Dawn Viney is a remarkably responsive and talented professional stylist I travel to see. The Doyle location is very convenient for parking and it is a bright and airy environment. Highly recommend Vitality to all ages.

I had wedding hair and makeup done at Vitality by Ryan and Amaya. I looked really nice and not overdone! I was worried because I had never been there being from out of town. They both did an amazing job and the staff were all very kind and considerate. Ryan was able to put in my hair extensions no problem. The space itself is beautiful!

Camille does an incredible job on my hair and is always so much fun to spend time with, so I’m never bored in her chair. She even made me a Cold 911 tea because I was sick. Reception is always so friendly, I love the products I’ve bought from there, and the salon is beautiful!
