Had a great massage with Tara. She was good to discuss problem areas ahead of time and checked in throughout massage around level of pressure. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend!

I'm an active senior and have been to many massage therapy facilities over the years and I found the Urban Retreat Therapy facility to be clean, organized, and well equipped. My Therapist, "Nicole" did not disappoint!! She listened as I explained my past therapy experiences and my current situation, and then she explained her approach.....again...she did not disappoint!!! My wife and I will continue to use Urban Retreat!!

One of the best in the city. I have tried different places in HRM and by far Urban Retreat was one of a kind experience. Very welcoming and friendly front desk staff. Clean and no hygiene concerns. Amanda is something else! An expert by definition, quite, respectful and is definitely recommended. Time & money well spent and well deserved 5 stars rating.

An Inviting space with friendly office staff made me feel welcome right away. Amy’s full body massage was over the top. One of the best I have experienced. She was attentive to my specific needs and effective at releasing muscle tension so that I felt completely restored by the end of the session. Highly recommend!

I booked in with Sarah today; it was my first ever massage so I figured it was time to give it a shot. Sarah was super professional and made sure my first experience was comfortable from start to end and helps me understand some possible reasons for back issues. I've personally never visited Urban Retreat Massage Therapy because I don't reside in Nova Scotia, however my sister has and she really likes getting massages here. Hands down one of the best massages I have ever gotten. Tara is a pro at what she does! I got the 60 mins plus cupping swedish massage, and she listened to my needs and definitely delivered. After a very early start and a long trip to Halifax yesterday, I knew I would be ready for a massage to ease the neck and shoulder pain from traveling. The 90 minute massage from Amy was exactly what the doctor ordered! By the time the session was over, I felt like a new woman. Even my sinus problems were alleviated. She is an awesome massage therapist!

Great experience! I booked a body and head massage as a surprise for my partner and the staff were so helpful in keeping it a surprise (eg. They took my contact information so they didn't call him to confirm the appointment; let him fill out the intake form upon arrival instead of in advance)! He said his massage was amazing and the best he's had. He's had a very physically demanding past few weeks and he said that all of his tension and muscle pain is gone.

Planned a couples massage after producing a major event that involves 3 weeks of heavy lifting, in every sense. Can't say enough about the experience. Great environment, amazing team, very restorative massage. It will be part of our annual post-festival routine.
