If
I
have
a
choice,
I
always
prefer
to
stay
in
one
of
the
hotels
of
the
Hilton
line.
I
chose
this
hotel
because
of
its
location
by
the
waterfront
in
Halifax.
I
will
start
up
by
saying
that
the
room
was
fantastic.
It
was
large,
the
bed
was
comfortable,
the
bathroom
also
large.
However,
the
person
who
checked
us
in
was
not
understandable.
He
had
a
heavy
accent
(Hindi),
spoke
extremely
quickly,
and
was
not
at
all
helpful
as
we
were
trying
to
figure
out
how
to
park
our
camper
van.
It
is
rare
that
I
have
a
problem
with
someone's
accent,
but
part
of
the
problem
was
that
he
spoke
so
fast
and
had
a
very
slurred
speech
that
he
was
really
incomprehensible
to
me.
I
do
recommend
if
you
get
someone
like
that
at
the
desk
here,
that
you
politely
wait
for
the
next
check-in
person.
The
other
person
that
was
on
duty
at
that
time
seemed
to
be
much
more
with
it.
We
had
asked
that
same
person
the
next
morning
about
whether
we
could
get
food
at
the
Canada
Day
celebration
down
by
the
water
and
he
absolutely
had
zero
idea.
So
he
was
all
in
all.
Not
a
really
good
person
to
have
at
a
front
desk.
I
previously
called
the
hotel
to
make
sure
that
there
was
a
space
that
was
going
to
allow
us
to
park
it
in
the
hotel
parking,
as
it's
3.5
m
high
and
also
rather
long.
So
after
a
lot
of
trying,
we
figured
out
that
we
could
use
one
of
their
outside
lots,
and
we
were
able
to
finagle
our
camper
van
into
a
couple
of
spots
of
sideways.
He
also
did
not
tell
us
that
they
no
longer
change
your
towels.
Or
that
you
had
to
tell
them
if
you
wanted
your
towels
change
before
noon.
And
while
it
said
that
you
had
to
tell
them
on
a
little
note
in
the
bathroom,
it
certainly
didn't
say
that
you
had
to
do
it
by
a
certain
time
of
day.
And
we
didn't
realize
I
didn't
change
the
towels,
because
we
were
told
that
when
we
checked
in,
until
we
came
back
late
in
the
afternoon
after
wandering
around
Halifax
all
day.
So
that
was
rather
a
disappointment.
This
is
not
the
usual
experience
I
have
in
Hilton's,
and
this
hotel
certainly
is
not
cheap.
I
think
they
were
aspects
of
the
hotel
that
could
use
some
updating.
For
example,
they
didn't
have
LED
lights
in
the
fixtures,
so
it
was
really
rather
dark
in
the
rooms
with
the
types
of
light
bulbs
that
were
in
the
various
lamps,
etc.
While
we
didn't
have
the
breakfast,
I
regret
it.
We
ended
up
pay
exactly
the
amount
it
would
have
been
for
an
all-you-can-eat
breakfast
for
two
croissants
and
two
cups
of
coffee
at
the
closest
coffee
shop
to
the
hotel.
So
my
recommendation
is,
get
the
breakfast!
